Car driven by Adisti has arrived in front of a minimalist house. The house was so quiet, he hesitated to go there. Not because there is no one, but afraid to meet the woman and will even increase the wound. As a woman, Adisti certainly knows how she feels because she feels the same way.
"Mrs, aren't you coming down?" roni asked Adisti, making the woman give a long sigh. He needed to prepare his heart and mentality to deal with the woman from the past.
"You just wait here, I'll go in. Hopefully he's inside."
Adisti got out of the car and walked towards the house. His steps felt heavy, like something was stirring in his heart. Whether he is ready or not, face the reality that soon Adisti will get from the woman. More importantly, she hoped that she would forgive him.
"Assalamualaikum," said Adisti while knocking on the door.
Not long after, the door opened. There was a woman who looked surprised when she saw who her guest was. However, try to keep smiling towards Adisti. A fake smile that anyone can guess. The guilt is growing.
"Sorry, can I help you?" ask the woman.
"I just want to meet the owner of the house, may I ask for a moment to chat," Adisti replied stiffly. Though he had been trying to smile, but there was even a strange look because at this time his feelings were not okay.
"Of course, come in."
The woman opened the door wide so that her guests could enter. Adisti was immediately sitting in the living room, while the woman entered the house and out of the house a glass of drink for her guests.
"Please drink, Mother."
"Thank you" Adisti said. Maybe because he was too nervous, he drank it quickly to leave a little.
"The mother said there was something she wanted to talk about, what was it, huh?" ask the woman who is not comfortable with the presence of her guests.
Adisti reached out his hand and said, "Include me, my name is Adisti."
"I'm Zahra" said the woman, replying to Adisti's hand.
"From Ma'am's expression, it seems like Mbak already knows who I am so, I also don't need to introduce myself, right?" asked Adisti because he had seen the strange gurgle of the woman. It looks like being nervous and scared at the same time.
All this time the woman has been trying to be a good wife, even leaving her family for the sake of the husband. However, because of the rich woman in front of him Bryan had the heart to betray him. As a woman, of course, she is not willing and prefers to separate. It was all done by Adisti for his mental health.
"You know everything, right? Then what do you want by coming here?" zahra asked back, this time she no longer needed to pretend to be nice to her guests.
"I just wanted to apologize. I honestly don't know if Bryan already had a wife. She never said anything to me, even claiming to be a virgin when she wanted to marry me."
"I know, he said so too. I can't blame you for not knowing anything, but aren't you rich? You should find out your future husband first, before deciding on something. Moreover, this concerns your future that you will live a lifetime later if God wills."
"Yes, I admit I was wrong and I'm sorry. As a fellow woman I know exactly how you feel first."
Zahra screeched cynically, not believing what the woman in front of her said. "I don't think you'll ever be able to feel what I'm feeling, cheered on by my husband. I don't think Bryan would do that."
"You're wrong, but now Bryan has done it. He has betrayed me and has been having an affair with another woman. Even at this time the woman was pregnant," Adisti replied with a wry smile, leaving Zahra shocked.
He had thought Bryan would be loyal to his wife because he had always wanted to be rich. Who would have thought if the man still betrayed the woman who had spent time with him. Zahra used to have nothing so, it was natural that if her husband left, whereas Adisti had everything, it was unbelievable.
"You're not kidding, are you?" asked Zahra who suddenly became so serious, of course making Adisti surprised. However, he finally understood what had happened.
"Do I look like I'm joking? I'm not a kid who can play with a household bond. How can you think that."
"Yes ... How, yes! It's hard to believe that Bryan would betray you, considering who you really are. That's very unlikely."
"Anything can happen. What I'm thinking about right now is just how to be free of that man and move on with my own life. It must be more fun living alone than living with irresponsible men."
Zahra nodded, and it was also her thought that she decided to divorce Bryan because indeed, there was nothing left to defend from their marriage.
"As a fellow woman, I'm sorry about what happened to you, but trust me that every problem has a way out. It's just we don't know how to."
Adisti and Zahra also talked, both of them strengthen each other. Until finally Adisti resigned. Zahra turned out to be a fun person to also chat with.
