The Promise You Make
48. Assistance

Adisti did not expect that he would experience this on the streets so deserted. Something he had never thought of before. The woman had also tried not to have any enemies, but there were still people who did not like her. In this life there are always people who are not in line with him.

The sweat wet Adisti's forehead. So much fear was in his heart. If only he had not asked Alex to go home, he would have been fine. The driver got a call from his family and said his mother was in the hospital. They need his presence because of all Alex needs to take care of.

Adisti finally convinced the driver that he would be fine. Nothing has disturbed his calm either. Who would have thought if the disaster came unexpectedly before. Now he only wished that someone would help him even if that hope was very small.

"Open the door quickly! Or we'll destroy this car!" shouted a man as he continued banging on the car door.

Adisti was getting scared, he had never experienced anything like this. As strong as she was, it was still a woman who needed a backrest and the one who protected her. The woman continued in the car with no intention of getting out. Adisti did not care if those people destroyed his car, at least he could buy time until someone helped him.

The woman tried to contact Alex to get the driver to come. However, because he was busy in the hospital until he did not realize his phone had an incoming call, indeed he changed his settings in silent mode.

Until finally one of the thugs was impatient and broke the car glass. Adisti who was surprised also shouted, until unconsciously his phone was thrown out of nowhere. They also try to open the car and bring Adisti forcibly. The woman thrashed around asking them to let go, even pleading with them and luring in greater rewards than the one who told them to.

However, it seemed that his words had no effect at all. They keep pulling Adisti and taking him into their car. Suddenly a crowd of people came to their head, intending to help the woman. Some of them also carry sharp weapons.

"Take that woman off, if you still want to stay alive!" exclaimed a man who was none other than Yasa.

Adisti raised his head, he saw Yasa's whereabouts and felt relieved that there was finally someone helping him. At least for now he can be saved. Regarding his personal matter with Yasa maybe later he could thank the man.

Yasa himself had gotten a call from his men who had been secretly guarding Adisti, they said if the woman was in danger. There are a bunch of people looking for a relationship with that woman. I don't know who told them Yasa didn't know either. It's also not important, for him as long as Adisti is fine is enough.

"Who are you? Do not interfere in our affairs. You better get out of here!"

Yaya laughed out loud, as if underestimating his current interlocutor. "You should be the ones getting out of here. Don't you see your numbers are losing away from us? But for free you run, I won't let you go that easily. Before you say who sent you here."

"You'll never tell the truth. Even if you kill me, I won't say it."

Without a lot of words Yasa also gave the code to his men to attack them, until finally the rock was inevitable. Yasa also beat up someone from them. He had been very desperate to face the thugs who had made Adisti afraid, until finally they were defeated and tied up by Yasa's men. He approaches Adisti and tries to calm the woman down.

"You're okay, right?" tanya Yasa who was only answered with a nod by Adisti.

Yasa put his suit into Adisti's body and went back to the thugs. "Who sent you?"

"Oh, okay." Yasa turned to look at his assistant. "Rio, find out about their families. Their wife, children, mother or father. Find out all about their families and finish it off with no leftovers. You certainly understand what I want," Yasa said without humanity.

The thug's eyes widened, as did his friends who were so shocked to hear Yasa's words. They did not expect that this man in front of him would bring his family into this matter. They worked so as to support the family, how could it be possible to let their family be killed just like that. Especially children who have a long future.

"Why do you want to kill our family? They have nothing to do with what we do!" shouted one of them with reddened eyes.

"That's none of my business. You guys have dared to fuck with me. Adisti is also the person I love the most, but you guys have been playing around with him. Don't blame me if I play games with your family before it's over."

"If anything happens to my family, I'll look for you even to the ends of the world!"

Yasa laughed out loud, as if laughing at the stupidity of those thugs. "To be free now you can't, how can you avenge me? Oh yea! I wonder if you have any children or younger sisters who are still girls? It must have been nice if my men played around with them before finishing him off. Just imagine it's made them more enthusiastic."

The thugs rebelled, trying to break away from the bond. Wanting to beat Yasa's mouth, who was just talking about their family. He who had no bond whatsoever with Adisti alone was so angry when they hurt the woman, but this instead did something disgusting.

"Now the choice is on you, want to tell the truth or be in jail and never know how your family will be at home."

The thugs looked at each other, a sign asking what they should do now. One of them nodded, confirming what Yasa said. He did not want anything to happen to his family, let alone the princess who was currently fifteen years old. Sometimes he still likes to play with his friends.

He wouldn't be able to face the world if his daughter's future was ruined. Enough of him who has no future, not his daughter. So did the other thugs who could only nod.

"Alright, I'll tell you the truth, but what reward will we receive after telling the truth?" ask the thug representative by looking at Yasa.

"You still want to ask for a reward after what you did to Adisti? That will never happen, Adisti had already made an offer and now it is no longer valid so, you want to tell the truth or not? That's the only option there's no bargaining. After all, have you not been rewarded by the man who sent you?"

"But we only get half because we didn't manage to bring the target, we need money for our family."

"I don't care about it. You should be ashamed to have supported your family with illicit money. I'm sure your family would never accept the money if they knew where it came from."

The thugs looked down, it was true that their wives no one knew where they got the money from. It was all because they were forced to no longer have jobs they could get. Today's job search is so difficult, while there is why not maintain.
