The Rahim the Pay
Improves

Naima stepped into her mother's ward. The middle-aged woman was lying asleep. He pulled out the chair next to the patient's bed and landed his body there.

Naima looked at her face with a small smile on her lips. His mother looked fresh and the days were getting better.

The two beads of the woman's eyes were fixed on the hands of her mother who was not attached to the infusion hose. He grabbed the hand and then grabbed it. Naima kissed the back of the hand quite deep and a little long.

"Repidly healed and healthy again as before, ma'am. So that my sacrifice is not in vain" he said.

"What sacrifice?"

The question suddenly shocked Naima. He who was kissing the back of his hand now turned to look at the middle-aged woman's face.

"Mother?" Naima looked nervous, her face slightly stiffened. But he tried to neutralize it and tried to stay calm.

"What sacrifice do you mean, Naima?" repeat mom Maya.

Naima. "No, ma. I mean, I've borrowed money from that guy and I have to pay for it by working at his company" Naima replied, again having to lie.

"Mom felt the sacrifice you meant was something big, Naima. Aren't you lying to Mom? Because I feel like you're hiding something from mom. But what?"

"There's nothing I'm hiding from mom. Never mind, don't talk about mom again. Didn't I promise I won't talk about it again. Most importantly, I'm healed and healthy."

Maya looked at Naimaa's face. He knows exactly what his daughter is like. And he still felt that Naima was hiding something big from him.

"Ah yes, how is the condition of the mother now? Is it better?" Naima tried to divert the conversation.

Mom Maya nodded. "Alhamdulillaah ... Mom already feels better. Thank you for the sacrifice, son. Even though I don't know your true sacrifice."

"Mother, please don't say that again. I feel like you're cornering me, when I told you the truth. I beg you, do not suspect me like that anymore, yes." asked Naima while bowing both hands pleading.

"Well, I'm not going to talk about that anymore. You alone, how is he doing now? I'm worried you're okay, 'cause you haven't been here for days."

Naima was silent for a moment. He cannot tell the real reason.

"No need to apologize, it should be the mother who apologized for always bothering you, son."

Naima. "No, no. My mother never bothered me at all. All I did was to repay my mother's services. Even if I bet on life, it won't be worth my mother's sacrifice. So stop feeling guilty."

Mom Maya nodded. "Yes, thank you very much, baby. Thank you for trying to do your best for me."

"Together, mother," replied Naima.

A nun who entered the room stopped the conversation between the two.

"Excuse me ..."

"Yes, sus. What's up?"

"I'm here to replace Maya's mother's infusion bottle" the nurse replied.

Naima's eyes were immediately fixed on her mother's infusion bottle that was almost finished.

"Ah yes. Please, sus."

The nurse nodded and began to replace the finished bottle with a new one. It only takes a few minutes, the nurse has succeeded in changing her infusion bottle.

"Then I say excuse me," said the nurse nodded by Naima.

"Thank you, sus."

"Thank you, Sister" said Naima and her mother almost simultaneously.

Naima and her mother continue the conversation about her small family before the greatest man in her life, Maya's husband and Naima's father, leaves them forever.
