Tonight at about seven o'clock, Zico and Naima are getting ready to go to the shopping mall at the supermarket. Zico asks Naima to wear the clothes he bought. At first Naima refused due to her lack of confidence, the clothes were too luxurious for her. But Zico said he was disappointed if Naima did not want to use a gift from him. Eventually, the woman had to wear it.
While Naima changes clothes, Zico waits in front of the house. It's been almost five minutes, but Naima hasn't come out yet. Not long after that, he was made pangling by the appearance of a woman who used to look simple.
The man looked at Naima from toe to head. His gaze could not be separated from Naima's natural-looking face. Even the woman did not use lipstick at all because her lips already looked pink.
Naima was made nervous when Zico looked at her like that. He even felt awkward.
"We're leaving?"
Naima's question made Zico aware and the man blinked his eyes once.
"I-yes, so," he said later.
"Then why are you still standing here? Let's go now, we'll have a night out" Naima asked, because she knew pregnant women shouldn't wander around at night. That's a saying that is still believed if living in the countryside.
Then they get into the car, Zico does not forget to open the door of his car for Naima and protect the woman's head from being touched. After that, he went into the steering wheel.
"Don't forget to put the seatbelt on."
"Yes," answered Naima obediently.
Seeing that Naima seemed troubled, Zico tried to help. The woman came back nervous when Zico was that close to her. Especially when Zico turned his head, as if there was no longer any face distance between them. Zico's breath slammed into Naima's face. Naima herself tried to hold her breath.
"It." Zico retreated his face and Naima was finally able to breathe oxygen.
"Next time don't get that close to me" Naima asked but in a soft tone.
"I always felt guilty about your wife."
"But you're my wife too" said Zico.
Naima looked at Zico's face with a serious look, the sentence made her feel even more enveloped in guilt.
"Yes, I know. But I also know myself, if the marriage between us is only part of the agreement that has been made. Your wife is Aylin's mother."
Zico glanced at Naima's face. What Naima said is very true. He must be able to control his feelings and try not to make Naima get carried away. Because it would only hurt Naima.
"Well, I understand what you mean," Zico answered and then turned on the engine of his car.
Naima turned towards Zico at a glance. Before that, he looked at the street through the window.
I hope you really understand what I mean, Zico. I'm trying to control myself so as not to hurt your wife.
A drop of tears fell from Naima's eyes, he let the tears flow without being noticed by Zico who was focusing on driving.
Fifteen minutes later, their car arrived at a large supermarket shopping center that was crowded with visitors. Zico went down first and stood waiting for Naima to come out.
Naima thought Zico would treat her like that. But it didn't. Maybe Zico knows what that means. And for him like that it's better.
