Chapter 1 Return to the Past.

That feeling of being betrayed could not be explained verbally, that was how Elena felt when she was betrayed by the person she loved.

At first everything seemed fine, Ernest's affection for Elena was huge according to Elena. Never once did the man raise his voice let alone say rudely, which was clearly with him Elena felt very pampered.

But suddenly there was a change in Ernest's attitude after they got engaged, the man began to ignore Elena on the pretext of being preoccupied with his personal problems. Elena tried to understand it was just that the distance between them had suddenly become very far away, Elena was sent for training to a place far from the capital by Ernest on the grounds that if Elena entered the martial world at least once then she would be very happy. 

Elena was also in order to get back Ernest's attention she was willing to follow training that she did not like, all just for Ernest.

A few years later Elena returned in hopes that the relationship between her and Ernest could improve, then sure enough after Elena returned to the capital, Ernest had returned to being the man Elena knew before.

Now that Ernest is proposing a wedding with a very romantic proposal for Elena, Elena is lulled into it and accepts her proposal without thinking. Elena was looking forward to her new life after marriage.

But at the wedding ceremony there were two brides wearing wedding dresses, Elena was very surprised because the woman was her own best friend.

"Is this Ernest? you want to marry two women at once on the same day, are you crazy?" elena asked, she was so hurt to see Sonia come to the same hall as him.

"I love you and love Sonia, I don't want to lose you both so I will marry you. I hope you don't refuse" replied Ernest.

Elena didn't want to marry the man who was going to beat her up. Elena didn't know why they had a relationship behind her. But obviously, Elena will not get married.

Elena also took off all her jewelry, she also damaged the hair that had been arranged as good as possible to remove her makeup.

"I won't marry you even once in your dreams. You have betrayed my love and without shame you still have the face of wanting to marry me. You're a worse man than trash," Hina Elena was supported by many of the guests present.

"Don't overdo Elena. Being able to marry Ernest should be an honor for you, I just want to share it with you. Then why don't you? just accept this marriage and don't make Ernest's mood worse by rejecting it," Sonia's reply irritated Elena.

"I'm not a lowly woman like you, I was wrong to have considered you all along as my family. Because the family didn't stab in the back like you," Elena scoffed, she was about to leave the hall.

"Are you sure you can leave after seeing this?" ernest asked Elena to turn to face him.

The knights Ernest brought Elena's mother and father who were in chains to the hall, some even brought a large box when the box was opened it turned out to be 2 heads of Elena's older brother.

Elena ran over to the box and asked in a high tone, "What did you do to my sister?" 

"I don't want to do this either. But I had to, they both wanted to separate you and me after they found out I had an affair with Sonia. Whatever I do, Elena, I just want to live with you, that's all. Is that wrong?" asked Ernest without the slightest feeling of guilt.

"Of course it's wrong. You are the murderer who killed my two brothers, you have committed a great sin. I've been blind all this time because I've loved a disabled man like you, you're disgusting" Elena replied.

Ernest felt very shaken because of Elena's words, he drew his sword and cut off Elena's father's hand.

"No!" elena shouted intending to approach her father who grimaced in pain, unfortunately the two knights came to hold Elena back from being able to get close to her parents.

"Stop all this. You don't go too far, I won't forgive my whole life. If you dare then I will .. Dad!" Elena shouted very loudly as Ernest beheaded her father.

"I don't like it when you insult, threaten, and blame me, baby. This is all I'm doing for our good, those who are blocking our relationship should be gone" Ernest smiled sweetly at Elena.

"Elena, don't marry this guy. If your mother and father are to be gone then let us not be with great respect, do not save our lives by sacrificing much less to marry him. Make choices you won't regret in your life" said the mother, shedding tears.

"Elena, marry me then your mother will be fine. Please don't spoil our happy show, well?" pinta Ernest gently.

Elena looked at the mother who was constantly shaking her head, then Elena would make the best choice for herself. Elena pulled the sword of one of the knights and then pointed it at her neck.

"Elena, what are you …." 

"Shut up!" Elena interrupted Ernest's words, "I'd rather not be with my family than marry you."

"Don't Elena, please listen to me. I won't hurt your mother so put the sword down" Ernest asked to walk up to Elena.

"Kill yourself Elena" said the determined mother, stabbing herself with a dagger she knew where she had come from.

Elena could only cry seeing her mother as well, she closed her eyes and tore her own neck with a sword in her hand

"No!" Ernest immediately ran up to Elena. However the one who caught Elena's body was another man, he vaguely saw a familiar face.

Elena died with a million feelings of guilt, she didn't want nothing like this. But it was much better than having to marry Ernest, he also regretted falling in love with a masked man like Ernest. One thing Elena realized from the incident was that she did not know Ernest very well, not even know the man at all.

Elena lay covered in darkness, feeling so cold that she felt like her body was going to freeze. This vague feeling of distress made him cramped.

"Elena Elena," called someone not too audible to Elena. But when the call became loud, Elena instantly came to a realization with a gasp of breath.

"Look at her mom. He was angry at Brother Carlos and ignored me, I don't know when this habit will disappear" Aaron sneered at Elena.

Seeing them all sitting together enjoying a warm cup of tea in the garden reminded Elena of the past, she unconsciously shed tears she thought after them all there was no god to bring them together again in heaven.

"Is this heaven?" elena asked them all in silence then laughed together.

"What's wrong with you? this is not heaven, we are in the gazebo of the courtyard beside the residence. What do you think of asking like that?" carlos asked his brother.

"Eh! the side yard of our residence, why can we be here is not we have ..." Elena's words were cut when Aaron pinched his cheek, "It hurts!" 

"If it hurts, stop bragging. You were angry for no apparent reason at Brother Carlos and then you ignored me, were you that angry when you heard Ernest being ridiculed by your brother?" aaron's question made Elena remember the current atmosphere, and this topic of conversation had happened when she was 15 years old.

Out of curiosity Elena got off her seat and ran into the residence, she wanted to ascertain for herself whether or not she had returned to the past.
