Chapter 17 The match begins.

The next day a friendly match finally begins, each student must use their real name so that each family can come to attend their child's match.

The men's and women's arena was separated by academics, while the rest room was the same. Liliana comes with Austin and Carlos to visit Elena. But not with Aaron, he's still angry because of Elena's words yesterday.

Elena's family sat on the bleachers cheering as Elena's match was right in front of her eyes, Adrian was also impatient to see what his beloved disciple would do.

In each of these matches Elena always won from her opponent without having to call a single spirit, the match had already passed for a week and Elena managed to advance to the final face-to-face with Sonia.

"Sir Adrian, where's my hair tie? did you see him?" elena asked as she prepared for the final.

"No," briefly Adrian in a tinge without looking at Elena.

"Are you angry?" ask Elena again.

This time Adrian looked at him with a sharp gaze, then he replied, "You are my only disciple, why don't you use your strength? I know you're the girl that the wind loves. But, at least call Slyph to show us our identity."

"alright. As you wish," Elena replied, making a smile engraved on Adrian's aunt.

"May it work." Adrian kissed Elena's forehead and then he tied the hair of his favorite student.

After which they called Elena advanced without bringing anything, and Sonia advanced while carrying her weapon.

As the match began without waiting for Sonia to swing the tip of her spear towards Elena, Elena swiftly dodged. But Sonia's movements were very agile, before Elena completely dodged she kicked Elena's stomach with her fiery legs.

Elena bounced around until coughing up blood from her mouth, plus her stomach was severely injured to the point of leaving a burn scar.

"What are your skills like in academia? I don't mean to insult you my best friend, it's just that we can't stay in the arena for long so let's end this game" Sonia said.

Sonia attacks mercilessly even Elena has no time to call out or just unleash her powers, seeing that Adrian becomes unsettled. On the other hand Sonia's movements also had no gap, while Elena had no chance of attacking.

"Defeat her Elena," shouted Liliana from the bleachers. The shout shifted Elena's focus until she was hit by Sonia's attack again.

"Sick," Elena's inner hand held onto her shoulder.

"Elena, now use it," cried Adrian to make Elena realize that the distance between Sonia and herself is quite far.

"Don't expect." Sonia shot a lot of fireballs towards Elena.

"Call Salamander," Elena muttered.

Bruaks!

There was a huge explosion in the arena until the entire area was covered with smoke, Sonia smiled happily because she knew Elena had been blown out by her attack.

"Uhuk uhuk uhuk," Elena's coughing voice shocked many onlookers as well as Sonia.

"Go!" Slyph flicked his hands together with it the wisp of smoke that covered the arena disappeared in an instant.

"Look! it was a fiery dragon," shouted one of the spectators who pointed at Salamander.

"What is all this? where did the dragon and the woman come from? it's a one-on-one match then why did you bring your partner," protested Sonia. He knows nothing about the caller.

"Representative? don't be silly. They are my children, my strengths, and my skills. Let me introduce myself once more. I'm Elena Abraham from the Crescent Academic summoning class," Elena's reply left many people stunned.

"You're a caller? not likely. The family of Abraham is the descendant of the wind god, this is impossible." Sonia drooped down, she felt herself being slapped so hard by reality. 

"Please Salamander" Elena said. Salamander smiled then exhaled a fiery breath from within her mouth towards Sonia.

Sonia crashed far out of the Arena until unconscious, instantly cheers from the audience for Elena filled the area.

"You're Elena's best." Adrian hugged Elena and then circled around so happy. He would not have expected if Elena would summon the famous Salamander who did not like to bind a contract with humans.

"Anne." Aaron who does not know where to come from snatches Elena from Adrian's embrace into his arms.

"You are amazing. You're a genius, I've been in academia for a whole year. But I don't know if my sister was a caller, I should have realized why you asked me to call you Irene back then. I love you so much" said Aaron.

"Enough!" Austin snatches Elena from Aaron, then he drops Elena right in front of Liliana.

Liliana shed tears looking at Elena, she still could not believe that her daughter was a genius that there were only 1 in 1000 humans. Thanks to this, the strength of their family will increase.

The joyful atmosphere became silent as Jovanka came with her servants, Liliana stared intently at the arrogant woman.

"That's amazing, Elena. With this you have shown me that you deserve to be next to Ernest" Jovanka said.

"Thank you aunt" Elena replied without compromising her respect for Jovanka.

"Will but your appearance is now a bad time, as Ernest's future fiancee you should be dressed properly. If your clothes are this bad then how different are you from a beggar on the street, change your appearance" continued Jovanka. His words burned the hearts of all who were there.

"Yes my. This aunt is really good at hallucinations," taunted Qinthia who had just kept quiet beside Aaron, "Aunts should be ashamed of what they say. Elena's parents just kept quiet with their daughter's appearance, then why do you mind? he's just your son's future fiancee yet to be his wife so aunt has no right to regulate his lifestyle. Is Elena sure she wants to be aunt's fiancee? if it changes later then the aunt's current speech could embarrass herself."

Jovanka closed her fan and walked closer to Qinthia, "Your mouth is spicy too. But do you know who I am? how dare a brash woman like you be so presumptuous of me. Don't you know what the end of a woman like you will be like?"

"ah! I don't know, can aunt tell me? or I'll just ask my uncle. Oh yea! I forgot to introduce myself, meet me is Qinthia Arsena nephew of Emperor Ashraf. Is my name not foreign?"

Hearing the name of Qinthia Jovanka's guts instantly disappeared, he clucked irritably until finally left there.

"My engagement is great." Aaron hugged Qinthia and then kissed her forehead.

During this time Aaron never saw Jovanka speechless like that, even Liliana who is famous as the queen of debate can not win in the fight against Jovanka.
