CHAPTER 27

Darren pulled his car over after a long time of speeding without direction and purpose. Shani was still silent reluctant to speak even a little from earlier. They both struggle with their own emotions.

“What's the weight if you're honest with me?” darren asked, then turned to look at Shani who was sitting to his left. “Honest, Shani. You're pregnant, right?”

Shani still stared at the windshield of the car, daydreaming, then her tears were divorced.

“Shani,” call Darren as he grabs her right hand with a sincere look and begs for an answer.

Shani lowered her head, wiped her tears, then turned to Darren. “You must have been waiting for Zaila at home. She's pregnant, right? You should always be there for him. I'll excuse you.”

Darren restrains Shani who is about to open the door of his black sedan. Shani is stunned trying to control her tears to not fall again. How hard it would be for Shani to admit everything to Darren.

Darren grabs Shani's head cupping both cheeks. The views of the two are clashing with each other. The twinkle gaze mixed with nanar both of them overflowed each other.

“Zaila need you. You have to go home now,” Shani told Darren, sounding soft but painful.

“I don't care. Why do you make me think of him while I want to just think of you?” Darren shook his head slowly. “Don't change our topic of conversation, Shani. Don't lie.”

“I'm not lying.” Shani replied while watching to make a drop of clear liquid come out of his eye fertilizer. “I'm not lying, Darren.”

Darren's anger started to flare up. Finding Shani stubborn and wanting to keep her ego makes Darren even more fed up. As fast as lightning Darren instantly clenched the lips of the woman.

Rebelling like whatever Shani is, Darren keeps kissing her. The pagutan was actually as deep as possible, getting rougher, and more torturous. After a long time Darren took a sip and spent the air in the cavities of the woman's mouth, he then took it off.

Shani's breathing is hunting, panting, irregular. Darren still cupped Shani's face staring at him with a glare of sharp eyes. It feels like Darren is giving more lessons for Shani, but it seems like this is not the right time.

“Once again you lie to me, I will not hesitate to do something that you usually hate.” Darren threatens. “Tell me the truth, Shani. You're pregnant, right? Whose kid is that? Is that my son?”

Shani is still trying to catch her breath. His face turned soft and looked soft. Darren did not get an answer because the woman suddenly fainted.

“Shani. Shani, wake. Shani,” call Darren start frantically patting Shani's cheeks.

Darren leaned Shani's body back into his chair. Darren frustrated. And as soon as possible, the man took Shani home.

Malvin is seen pacing the front porch of Shani's house. It's been quite a night, but the woman's not home. The HP is very difficult to contact, so where did Shani go?

Not long after that a black sedan stopped right on the front street. Malvin was no stranger to the car. And as soon as a tall man came out of the steering door, Malvin was immediately aghast.

Darren immediately carries Shani's body and brings her into the house. The woman was still unconscious. That made Darren very worried.

“Shani why? How about her, Ren?” malvin's asking started to fuss.

Malvin immediately searches for Shani's door lock from inside the bag. And after Malvin found it, he started to open the door. Darren immediately bursts in, taking Shani into the room and laying her body on the bed.

“What happened? Lo apain Shani?” Malvin again interrogates Darren.

Darren just silently refused to answer. The man stroked Shani's head hoping inwardly that she would be fine. Malvin, irritated that Darren had ignored his question, begins to pull the collar of his cousin's shirt.

“My jawab! Lo apain Shani?” peekkik Malvin to Darren.

Darren pushes Malvin away from him. 2 the man throws a look of dislike at each other. The atmosphere of the room began to heat up.

“Gue is fine with him. I just need Shani to be honest!!” Darren snapped at the last sentence.

Malvin chuckles miris. “Honesty what else would you like to hear from Shani? Not satisfied with your painin him?”

Darren threw his face away as if completely insinuated with Malvin's words.

“Kalo so let me be honest with you,” chirps Malvin make Darren back to look at him. “Lo look at Shani now,” tell her to Darren while pointing at Shani who is lying on the bed.

“She's pregnant, Ren.” And as if struck by lightning, Darren's mind immediately blared scorched as if burned to the ground after hearing the confession from Malvin. “Pregnant child lo.” Once again, Darren's heart was torn to shreds.

I don't know how long Darren hasn't shed a tear. But today, right in this second it felt so very sad. A drop of tears blatantly came out from the corner of Darren's eyes, sliding just like that as the man stared at Shani who had collapsed there.

“Lo is really, really bad, Ren. Now what will you do? You have to take responsibility for Shani. The baby in Shani's stomach, he is there because of lo,” said Malvin demanding Darren.

Darren was stunned still staring at Shani with teary eyes.

“Whatever the risk, you should marry Shani. Shani covered up all this not because she was selfish. Precisely the only one here who is most tormented is Shani. She's a good girl, Ren. Shani just wants to keep the feeling of bini lo, so she closed her pregnancy.”
