The Secretaries
CHAPTER 48

“Night, Om.” Malvin greeted Wirawan who was sitting with a man in a black uniform who stood about half a meter to his left.

Tonight Wirawan did promise to meet with Malvin at a restaurant. At first Malvin was confused why his om suddenly called and asked him to talk about something. But whatever Malvin, he still chose to come to see Wirawan.

Wirawan threw a smile at his nephew. “Om think you will not come,” chirped Wirawan implied a strange look, and Malvin can not interpret it.

“Ya..., since this is Om, that's why I came.” Malvin answered Wirawan. “So Om Wirawan want to talk what?” continues asking.

Wirawan also secured his sitting position, took a short breath and then stopped him. “Om want to negotiate with you.” He clicked. “Maybe the comparison of its advantages for us 1 is the same.”

“Means, Om?”

“It's about Shani.” Wirawan took a short pause to see Malvin's seemingly slightly aghast response. “Om don't know how interesting he is until you and Darren can-” Wirawan chuckles briefly. “Can be said playful, right?”

Still in a stunned position, Malvin did not know what Wirawan had planned this time and invited him to meet like this.

“You know that Darren has to defend his marriage and give up on this?”

Malvin silently gulped continuously staring at Wirawan. “What do you mean, Om..” He was about to guess, but Wirawan quickly denied it.

“Ya, you have to go forward.”

Malvin fell silent, his head kept thinking and considering his offer just now.

“So how? We will both benefit. Om can save Darren's marriage, and you, you can get that woman.”

“What is the guarantee of success of this plan already Om consider?” after thinking for a long time, Malvin finally opened his voice.

“All there is a plan. Om just need your approval for the early stages.”

Malvin's eyes shone a sharp glint at the meaning Wirawan hoped was a big advantage for him. …. And at the diner, the two finally reached an agreement. Then after that, Malvin left there leaving Wirawan who was still sitting folding hands with a piercing horror look.

“Compose next steps well. This time everything must be in order and I do not want to hear your failure,” exclaimed Wirawan to his men who are still loyal to accompany.

“Good, Sir.”

And then Wirawan downed a glass of drink in front of him so that he did not rest, then shuffled up and left the restaurant.

Darren is forced to approach Shani to his house because since the kidnapping incident his father made against the woman, Darren is no longer able to contact Shani. Darren's messages are not read, and Shani's number is off. It makes Darren worried, especially added about the rambling Jia this morning, Darren is afraid if Shani why.

Shani hesitantly opens the door to see who her guests are coming in at 7pm tonight. As soon as he saw Darren's face, Shani's heart was relieved. However, somehow the relief was always mixed tight.

“I can enter?” darren asked, looking at Shani as she opened the door for him.

“Do you intentionally kill HP? Why is your number so hard to call?” Darren asked after dropping his butt sitting onto the living room chair.

“I don't know where my HP is.” Shani replied lowered her head after taking a few seconds pause. “Tas I work with the contents lost since papa you kidnapped me yesterday. I don't know where, but it looks like it was brought with you.”

Darren is stunned to hear Shani's confession. “And you are so relaxed just already know if it is lost?”

Shani finally looked up from his bow to look at Darren. “How should I go? Report police? I don't want family problems like this to be exaggerated to the authorities.”

“But your bag-” Darren stopped his own sentence and sighed a little tight. He began to look at Shani with compassion. “Sorry,” chirps. “I'm sorry for always making you trouble.”

Shani was glued to Darren and then immediately blinked as tears began to pool in her eye bags. “No pa-pa, this is all a trial. I'm sincere in my work.”

Although the reality is so painful when he tries to face everything strongly, Shani still wants to convince people that he is okay to live it. Rather than continue to complain and scream if he so hated this difficult fate, Shani chose to tolerate. Everyone does not have to know how he is very troubled because of his problems.

Silence crept between them. Shani and Darren are both silent. The man continued to stare at the lethargic face of the woman in front of him. Shani is still beautiful even though her look is not as bright as when Darren knew her first time.

“Have you eaten?” darren asked breaking the silence.

“Hem.” Shani replied sounding soft.

Darren sighed from his nose, then inched toward Shani in the opposite seat. Darren then crouched down in front of Shani, staring at the woman while holding both of her hands on me. “Then you can rest. I'll go home if you're asleep,”.

“But your wife-”

“He's fine. There's Mama and Papa at home, you don't have to worry,” sidelines Darren.

Darren leads Shani to the room, helps the woman lay her body on the bed, then covers her. Shani tilts her body to the right and Darren sits on the floor facing her. The two men stared at each other.

“Sleep. I keep you here,” Darren tweeted as he stroked Shani's head with his right hand.

Shani grabs Darren's hand from his head removing the male elusan. “From now on, you don't give me more attention.” Shani smiled bitterly. “People may think that I am your mistress.”

1 stab wound to Darren's heart. The man recalled how foolish he was to waste the woman. Back to blaming himself, if only he worked harder to fight for his love, maybe every day Darren could give more of the elusan movement in Shani's head.

Every torturous flashback is always ringing because of the terrible reality that is hard to accept and forget. Shani and Darren stared at each other in a deep freeze. Their hearts drifted away from the thoughts that insisted on disturbing the comfort of the feelings between the two.

And time goes faster in times like these. Shani has fallen asleep, and Darren keeps staring at her face. If only his wife's status was borne by the woman who closed her eyes in front of him, how happy Darren was.

Darren turned to look at Shani's belly that was covered in glory. Slowly, his hands began to rub. “Sorry, I made your mother suffer. If you are already big, please take good care of him. You must know his hard work to keep you safe there, even though your presence makes him languish every day. But believe me, your mother loved you better than Father.”
