CHAPTER 37

Shani smiled at Rumi. “Shani no pa-pa coke, Bi.” He clicked. “Last-lately the work in the office a lot. Shani gets overtime, huh. Maybe lack of sleep so look pale,” us.

“You are not too tired. Aunty does not want to yes if you get sick because of a job fossier.”

“Iya, Bi.” Shani smiled.

Shani and Rumi continue to enjoy their meal.

Hour after hour passed, it was already late at night, and Shani had to take a break to return to the city.

“Health care aunt, yes. Shani does not know when to turn to Bibi again after this,” Shani said to Rumi, then looked down.

Rumi stroked Shani's head. “You should also take care of yourself in the city. The environment there is harsh, you have to be careful,”, Rumi advised.

Shani quickly blinked to hold back her tears. He smiled, then grabbed his aunt's hand. “Then Shani departs now yes, Bi.” Shani hugged Rumi.

Shani's tears are dripping. He would definitely miss the middle-aged woman a lot. Shani can't say anything about her pregnancy and the problem to Rumi, she can't help but be ready.

After Shani wiped her tears quickly, she then took off her embrace from Rumi. Shani smilingly looked at Rumi with her eyes still glazed over. Rumi began to feel a little strange, but he tried to think positively.

Rumi smiled as Shani inched away to the taxi waiting for her. The journey from the village to the city takes about 3 hours if the road is not jammed. And Shani passed by with the taxi leaving Rumi who was still standing staring at the gray car was getting away.

After spending a few hours, Shani arrived at his yard. As the taxi passed away and at that moment Shani was staring at a man who was also staring at him. There, Darren had just stood up from the wooden chair in front of Shani's house after the woman got out of the taxi.

Shani walks slowly to her house trying to ignore Darren.

“Where are you from?” darren asked Shani who was opening the door.

Shani did not respond in the slightest. He kept busy with a door that was suddenly very difficult to open. Wanting to quickly leave Darren's presence, Shani's hand trembled to release the key into the door handle.

“Shani!” darren yelled at Shani's hand, forcing the woman to face him.

Shani and Darren's eyes looked at each other. Darren's face was angry. It's almost 11 p.m., and Darren has been waiting for Shani's arrival since the magrib's end.

“Why are you so kayak gini? Did you intentionally make me worry?” darren's protest continued to stare hard into Shani's eyes.

Shani was silent for a while with her eyes starting to glaze over. “Please, Darren. I want to be free and free from all these problems.” Shani takes a pause. “So please, please you stop.”

Shani took off Darren's grip which began to loosen, then he immediately opened the door of his house. But Darren's heart and head are starting to heat up, the man continues to push Shani in and he bursts inside. Darren immediately locked the door of Shani's house and stared at the woman.

“What do you want? Come out now,” tell Shani to start looking scared at Darren's face that looks so angry.

Darren walked slowly towards Shani. And Shani compensated by stepping back. And as soon as Shani's body touches the wall, at that moment Darren is right in front of him, Darren locks Shani's body there.

The two stared at each other.

Shani's tears trickled down her cheeks. Shani could not answer anything, he just kept quiet. Darren began to caress the woman's face with the fingers of her right hand.

“If you fight, you know what I can be cruel?” Darren threatens.

“I hate you,” Shani chirps still with her tears. “I hate you!!!” continued shouting.

“I don't care. Please hate me as much as you want. I'm sure, after you're numb, that hatred will be gone for a long time.”

“You're totally outrageous, Ren. You really can't understand me.” Shani sobbing.

“I've tried to understand you, but what exactly are you doing? You're making me even more hurt. You even avoid me after I say make responsibility for everything.”

Shane could only cry. Both are equally hurt. The treatment of Shani and Darren to each of them incised a wound. But they also have a reason to do that. Shani cannot accept Darren's responsibility because he has complicated feelings, and Darren wants to take responsibility for his mistakes because he feels he has to do it too because he loves her so much, Shani.

“I can't,” chirps Shani shaking her head. “I'm not strong with all this.” He began to get frustrated. Shani is also getting sobbing.

Darren grabbed the woman's face. “Dengerin me, everything will be fine if we are together. You, me, and our son. We'll all be happy.” Darren continued to stare into Shani's reluctant eyes looking at him. “I'll marry you, Shani. I will always take care of you and our children. I promise.”

Shani shakes. “Neg. I don't want to. I don't want to ruin your wedding.”

“Shani, please.” Darren pleads while still holding Shani's face.

Shani tries to control her breathing and stops her crying. Then, he started to stare at Darren firmly. “I'm getting married to Malvin,” chirps Shani suddenly make a fist of Darren from his face loosened and loose.

Shani does not intend to express his words, but he no longer knows what to face Darren like. Shani cannot think long, and he wants Darren to leave his house immediately. “I can't marry you. And instead, I'm getting married to Malvin,” keeps Shani from irritating Darren.

“Are you crazy?”

“My decision is round, and now you can go from here.” Shani also expels Darren.

Darren's emotions were drained, his mind was deadlocked, and he was furious. “I won't let you marry my cousin.”

“Go!!!” shani snapped at Darren.

“You belong to me, Shani. Malvin or whoever it is, they can't take you from me.”

Shani, who finds Darren babbling, starts pushing the man. “Go, Darren. Get out of here!”

Darren was sculpting as if his body was fixated on the spot. Shani continued to move in a rebellious banging on his chest

pushing him to leave. But, Darren continued to stare at Shani's face with heavy disappointment as well as a fierce anger.
