"Daddy! Help u! Help u! I beg someone to help me." Vania cries frantically at Johan's side. His legs are losing energy. Hands shaking. He doesn't know what to do.
The hotel quickly brought an ambulance and took Johan to the emergency room. Vania was crying incessantly. He kept calling Johan's name, hoping that the man could open his eyes and smile again at him. Oh, yes, God, Vania would give anything to see that smile again.
Johan's safe was pushed into the emergency room. Infusion and oxygen hoses were attached to Johan's body, while nurses in white uniforms ran around carrying medical equipment and medicine in trays.
Vania stood helplessly watching a tense-looking doctor give his assistant a cue while continuing to pump Johan's heart with both hands. How'this? What the hell is going on. Just a few minutes ago they were talking to each other. Johan looked handsome and in top condition as always. He just left her for a moment.
“Excuse me, Mom. Are you his family? I need you to fill in the information about the patient.” A nurse coldly asked him.
“I ..” Vania stopped talking to think for a moment. Who is he to Johan? “I will contact his family. But please ask me a question because I think I'm the last person to be with Daddy, I mean, Johan.”
“Alright, how was the patient's condition before? Did he complain of his chest tightening or his heart pounding? What was the last meal and drink he drank? Does he have a history of severe pain or certain allergies?”
“Nothing. Johan was fine before I left. He never complained of pain. He takes care of his health very much. He drank a little wine before I left. I don't know anything about a history of illness or allergies. Oh, how much I don't know about Johan, oh Dadddy. I beg you to save him.” Vania spoke in a trembling voice, she cried out.
“Please quickly contact his family.” The nurse said as she patted Vania softly on the shoulder.
Vania's hand shakes pressing Barli's phone number. He did not answer for a long time. Vania had to call him many times and was only able to breathe a sigh of relief after an answer. “What do you want again, Traitor?” Barli's voice sounded hoarse and crude.
“Bars. Jo-johan.” Vania tries hard to control her emotions. “Daddy at ER.” Cry exploded.
“Papa?” Barli shouted, “Which hospital?”
Vania looked around, looking around for the signboard of the hospital where she was now. He was too panicked before, not paying attention. “Cempaka Hospital. The hospital closest to the hotel, I guess. You know?”
Click! Barli disconnected the phone without saying anything more. The following minutes were the most excruciating time for Vania. In his entire life he had never prayed this seriously for anyone else.
Barley came shortly. His large and hasty body looked conspicuous in the room. Vania immediately saw him and called out to him. “Barli!”
Barli blocked Vania's arm. “Where is Papi? If anything happens with Papi I will not forgive you.” His eyes were angry.
Vania could no longer speak. This incident made him very sad. His hand pointed to a sealed room where Johan was being treated.
Just as Barli was about to go inside, a nurse prevented him. “Sorry to you who?”
“I his son. How is my papi?”
“Please, follow me to the reception desk. Soon the doctor will talk directly to you.”
“I, Doc!” Barley approaching. “I his son.” Vania half-runningly stood behind Barli. His heart was pounding hard waiting for an explanation from the doctor.
“Force us. We can't save Mr. Johan's life.” The doctor said with concern.
Vania covered her mouth in surprise. He walked towards the visitor's seat. His body slumped there, his head lowered. Vania held her own hand fixed in front of her mouth so that her cries would not come out. He's smashed. It was like being thrown from the top of a building.
Lama Barli was stunned before he finally opened his voice, “why? Hows it? Papi is very healthy, he has no history of any pain. Then why can Papi?” Barley could not continue his words. “Let me see Papi.”
“Ya, please! We give you time to be with the deceased. Once you calm down, we'll talk again. There's a lot we have to tell you as his family.” The doctor passed away immediately after saying.
Barli dragged his weak legs into the room where his father was lying. Her papal body lay stiffly on top of the gurney. The nurse had removed all the hoses and medical devices from Johan's body. Barli could not believe that the figure with his eyes closed was completely gone by now. His father was an old man full of vitality. He's tough. Undefeated. Ah, that guy must be sleeping. In a moment he would also open his eyes and nag Barli as usual. A single tear fell on Barli's cheek. He realized it was just a delusion. The papi is completely gone.
“Daddy ..” Vania appeared from behind the door. He wanted to squander around hugging his lover's body for the last time. But Barley stopped him.
“Do not approach! You have no rights, Vania. Go you!” snapped Barley.
“I beg, Barli. Let me see him for a moment.” Vania sniffles.
“You cheap lady! Get rid of you before I ask the security guard to drag you out.”
“Please, Barley.” Vania again pleaded but suddenly someone from behind pulled her hand violently. Vania. His gaze pounded on Liana who looked at him hatefully.
Liana grabbed Vania's hair and slapped her face. “You killer!”
Barli was startled and immediately ran over to prevent Liana from making any further fuss. “Liana, hold your emotions! What were you saying just now?”
“Barli, you no longer need to defend this woman. I'm sure he's connected to Papa's death. I saw Papi himself freshly fit before meeting him. It's awkward that Papi suddenly died. Everything must have been planned.” Liana roared with both hands still held by Barli.
“No! I can't possibly do that! I love Daddy. I love him so much.” Liana sniffled on the floor.
A security man comes in on fire. “Sorry, this is a hospital. Please don't make a fuss.”
“Pak, please just drive that woman out. He's a nobody. He has nothing to do with the patient here.” Liana said ketus.
Vania wiped her tears and stood up. “Good! I'm gonna go. I don't know what's going on and why Daddy could die. But I won't stay silent. I'll still find out.”
“We'll see, later. I hope you don't run away when the police come to arrest you later,” threatened Liana.
