The Sugar Daddy Heritage
The Dark Side Revan

Making an appointment with Barliana turns out to be a lot harder than finding a mafia nest. At least that's what Hendrik complained while waiting patiently in a room in one of the office buildings where Liana worked.

He had already emptied the second cup of coffee until he finally saw the woman stepping towards him, followed by half a dozen stiff-faced people who were likely assistants, secretaries, and bodyguards.

Liana was a petite woman, but her steps were firm and certain. Highlight his eyes full of confidence, his nose high, his lips look like someone who grumbles and is never satisfied. Hendrik guessed this woman wouldn't be easy to talk to.

“Good afternoon Mr. Hendrik.”

Liana reached out to shake hands which Hendrik immediately greeted. After taking a comfortable sitting position in front of Hendrik, he asked, “how is the case? I hope to go ahead with the trial soon and the woman is sentenced to a heavy sentence. She's a cruel woman with no feelings.”

“We are still collecting evidence and witness testimony,” replied Hendrik.

“I've come to request access to your financial information and your husband's. Company ownership, shares, everything. I'm hoping you'll help. I have also asked the same to brother Barli.”

Liana sighed lazily, “what is it necessary?”

“Very necessary. I want to make sure of something. After the death of Mr Johan, who took over all responsibility towards the company?”

“While all of this is already held by the company secretary. They reported the results to me and Barley. At least it will remain that way until the lawyer reads the inheritance that Papa has written.” Liana stood up and prepared to leave impatiently.

“Files you requested I will have my assistant prepare it.”

He then gestured to the assistant, a young girl who was standing not far from him.

“Alright, I'm very grateful for your cooperation.” Hendrik stood up.

“I'll invite you to dinner sometime. But today, I have to excuse you. Oh, yes then you can just contact my lawyer. Thank you.” Liana ended the conversation and then turned around.

Hendrik watched Liana leave while sighing deeply. He then glanced at the assistant who deliberately stayed to take care of his request earlier. “Please sir, follow me into the office,” said the girl.

In the car, Liana called Barli. “What are the police asking you?” the question was so Barli replied.

“We must meet, Liana. I'm talking over dinner at the usual place, ok?”

“Ok.” Liana disconnected.

A few hours later in an exclusive room of one of the fine restaurants, Barli lent a bundle of files to Liana. “Read this!”

Liana opened the papers in the form of portfolios of Johan companies. His eyes widened. “What the fuck is this?”

“Yes! That damn woman got it all!” Barli clenched his hands holding back in annoyance.

“Did you also give the same file to the police?”

“Of course. How else?”

“Shit! I didn't expect Papi to be this hard on us. I think Papi just gave one of his companies to Vania. But this is really crazy! Half of Papi's shares have been transferred to the sycophant woman!”

Liana was really angry. His face was red, he almost slammed his glass on the floor.

“I'm just as unhappy with you. At least now he's in jail. I hope he's forever rotting in there!”

At midnight, Liana returned home drunk. Her body was limp and collapsed on the sofa. He heard a groan from inside the room. Liana got back up and staggered over to the room and opened the door. He's seen. Revan is with a girl he doesn't know fighting on the bed.

Liana laughed out loud like a lost person. Revan had his cheating girl go and looked at Liana in surprise. “Why you?”

Liana threw the vase on the table at Revan. “Why do you want?” Liana shouted. The cheating couple girl Revan was in a hurry to pick up her clothes scattered on the floor and went to save herself.

Revan put on his pants and walked over to Liana. “You're drunk! We'll talk tomorrow morning.”

“I'm tired Revan! Can't you appreciate me a little bit? I don't care which girl you've slept with, but not in our house. Oh, my God, that's my bed! Our beds!” Liana came back screaming.

Revan grabbed Liana's rough arm. “Listen to me, Liana. No one can control my life. Not even you!”

Liana jerked Revan's hand. “You know what? While you're having fun with the ladies, he's ruining our lives!”

“Dia? Vania's? Isn't his own life now ruined?”

“We've lost from the start, Revan. Lose!”

“What do you mean? Speak clearly!” Revan.

“Papi has already transferred half of its shares to Vania. That woman is rich now!” Liana's body slumped to the floor. He was crying sobbing.

“What?” Revan threw a glass to the floor.

“I'll kill that woman!” Liana muttered.

“Take it easy, Liana. Papi's will has not yet been read. We still have hope of inheriting Papi's other valuable assets. And for that woman, we're gonna make sure she's in jail forever. I'll think of another way to get our money back.”

Revan squeezed Liana's hand. He needed a large amount of money as soon as possible and no matter what, he would definitely get.

Their conversation was interrupted by a loud knock at the door. “Are you waiting for guests? Did you invite another girl to party here?”

Liana looked at Revan with suspicious eyes.

Revan shook his head. “I didn't invite anyone.” He looked out the door uneasily. His instincts tell his guest tonight, it's not someone who will give him the good news.

The knock on the door suddenly turned into a loud bang, so loud that the wall seemed to tremble. Revan quickly opened the door. Upon finding out who had come, he retreated with a pale face. Fear proved.

Five large-bodied men, handsome roaring, rushed in. Instantly his spacious living room became cramped with the presence of those people.

“When did you pay your debts, Revan?” asked a man with a codet splitting the tip of his lips. He then took a leisurely step to pick up a golf club that was placed near the door.

Liana looked in horror at all of them then rushed to hide behind her husband's back. “Hu-what debt? Which one?” tanyanya nervous.

One of them smashed a golf club into a collection of Liana ceramics that were displayed nicely in a glass cabinet. Various luxury porcelain cup sets and platters splashed. Liana screamed in fear.

“Don't make me swing this stick in your head! I want my money now!” The Codet looked straight at Revan with a menacing look.
