The Tears of Mella

The Tears of Mella
Chapters. 46. New Friends

"Sir is it true that Mella was helped by the deceased mas Aaron who had become a ghost, as said by them ?."

"If that's true then the end of our history sir, Aaron will definitely demand revenge for what we did to his son Mella" said the distraught aunt.

"Mother doesn't know either, but now we're really apes. Now that it's too late, what we want can't possibly be realized."

"Don't own the house, to eat later we don't have any money. Look at the money we took from the house turned into dry leaves" her husband said.

Then the two looked with a face of despair, now what could they do ? like rice has become porridge.

The two left Mella's house, which was still standing very firmly, only their eyes could not see her.

Even the money they thought of as dry leaves they threw away in any place..It certainly becomes a windfall for scavengers and street children.

They scramble to get accidentally dumped by those who no longer need it. Meanwhile, his uncle and aunt Mella continued to step up regardless of what they were doing.

The two did not realize that they were fighting over the money they had just thrown away. After a few steps there was finally someone who shouted calling out to the two.

"Master, madam ! thank you for giving us this abundant windfall" said one scavenger, smiling and waving a hand full of money.

Her uncle and aunt Mella just looked at each other, they were confused exactly what happened ? they felt like they had just thrown away a lump of dried leaves.

Not a wad of money but they get the money and say thank you to them. Is it actually just their eyes that have been blinded by the ghost of Mr. Aaron or they are actually not just a scavenger but a crazy person. Who consider dry leaves like money.

But soon the men bought food and drink with the leaves they had thrown away. Of course, that makes them more curious. They approached the sale which happened to pass in front of them.

"Sir why did you sell your wares with dried leaves?" asked the seller.

"You have problems with vision or how, even though they're a scavenger but they're still sane. And where might I want to be paid with dried leaves."

"Let's see this is real money, not dried leaves. These two of you are just bothering me to sell." said the seller then passed away leaving them both.

The husband and wife could only look at each other, as they asked in earnest but the seller was even angry with them because of the question they were asking.

Do not want to take a headache, the two then walked down the road in front of them with the hope at the end of the road there is happiness that awaits them both.

While Mella is busy looking for thesis material in the library with her new friends. They were all kind and thought Mella was like their own family.

"Mella here you live with who?" asked Hani Mella's new friend.

"On my own, my mother's father and my sister have died" Mella answered honestly.

It was seen how much Mella had lost, and there was a deep sadness in her eyes.

Hani feels guilty then approaches Mella, slowly Hani grabs Mella's hand and looks at her face.

"Mella I'm sorry, if my question makes you sad. I have no other intention than just wanting to get to know you more closely" Hani said sincerely.

"No problem, don't take heart, I am always sad when I think of my family" Mella replied with a smile.

Mella nodded, then they resumed their activities. Both of them enjoyed the moment together. Happiness came from the faces of both.

Jun smiles happily seeing Mella making a friend as good as Hani. During Jun getting to know Mella this time there is someone who wants to be friends with Mella sincerely.

Although they did not know each other but now they became a close friend. Beware Mella in L town is much better than in her hometown.

The day turns, without feeling Mella almost finished working on the thesis, while Hani is still far behind by Mella.

But Mella patiently helps Hani, they plan to graduate together and then continue their S2 education at the same university.

"Mella I'm still a long way behind, I'm not as smart as you" said Hani.

"I'll keep helping you. So you don't worry about it." Mella said sincerely.

"Mella tomorrow I plan to visit my uncle and aunt. Do you want to come with me?." asked Hani.

"No problem, but what about the script?" asked Mella.

"We can do it while on vacation. And I think my aunt will help me get it done." replied Hani.

Mella could only shrug her shoulders. He cannot force Hani, because if forced then Hani will not be able to accept the lessons Mella gave.

After returning from campus Mella sits on the balcony with Jun. Mella hasn't had a serious conversation with Jun in a long time.

Since Mella meets Hani and she is preoccupied with her thesis, Mella hardly has time alone with Jun.

Now Mella enjoys her freedom with Jun as much as she used to. Mella sat down while leaning against Jun's field chest.

It's like getting rain in a long dry season. Jun's heart was of course very happy because his lover was now back in his arms.

"Jun, do you think I can come with Hani to visit her brother who is out of town?" asked Mella.

"Of course, honey. Even you will be happy when you meet the person you are going to visit." replied Jun.

"Who is that?" asked Mella.

"You'll find out after meeting" Jun replied.

Without a second thought Mella kisses Jun's cheek, she actually misses Jun a lot. I miss the togetherness and intimacy between them.

But his busyness makes it seem like there is no time when they live on one roof. Jun repays Mella's actions.

Both are blissful in the sweetness of love. They forget about the problems that exist. Both of them just want to embrace happiness in love.

Under the orange light they both let go of longing, carving out the beauty of love, releasing the burden that is in the chest. Carving the beauty of love under the shade of twilight.
