The Tears of Mella

The Tears of Mella
Chapter 48. Meet Della's mother

As planned, Mella follows Hani to visit her brother outside the city.

With a very chaotic mind Mella follows whatever Hani asks. He really can't forget Jun and focus on what's in front of him right now.

Along the way Mella just daydreamed and occasionally her tears dripped. He had completely lost the figure of Jun who had been accompanying him in both joy and sorrow.

"Mella are you okay?" asked Hani.

"I'm I'm fine." replied Mella.

"Mella don't lie, you've been daydreaming and sometimes I see tears falling on your cheeks" Hani said.

Mella just shook her head, and did not feel her tears dripping without being able to bend again.

Hani hugs her trying to give her support even though she doesn't know what Mella is going through.

"If you believe me, just tell me, even though I can't help you at least the burden that's in your heart is slightly reduced" Hani said sincerely.

"I've lost someone I love so much after I lost my whole family" Mella said.

Mella can't say anything anymore. Her tears were getting wet her cheeks. He seemed to be unable to say anything more because his chest felt so tight.

"Patient Mella, if she is destined to be yours then she will come back to continue this delayed story."

"Be assured that whatever happens in this life is best for us. Believe me, Mella." said Hani.

Mella could only nod, she believed what Hani had said. But this sense of loss really made him suffer a lot.

Patiently Hani gives support and encouragement so that Mella can be stronger in the face of this test.

Until they don't feel like they've reached their destination. The two are picked up by someone who is deliberately sent to pick them up at the bus terminal.

After that they both went to Uncle Hani's house. It did not take long finally they arrived at a very simple house but it looks very clean and neat.

Hani immediately knocks on the door hoping to meet her aunt whom she misses the most.

Since childhood Hani was very close to the aunt, but because of work made the aunt had to leave her who was still sitting in school.

After a while the door finally opened, a very familiar figure appeared Dimata Mella. Mella quickly rubbed her eyes.

He wanted to make sure that the person standing in front of him was Della's mother a policeman who had helped her at the time.

A policeman who was forced to move was assigned because he had helped himself to fight General Pranoto.

"Mother Della!" said Mella.

"Mella!" replied Della's mother.

Then the two hugged each other, letting go of longing for not seeing each other for a long time. While Hani does not want to lose.

She forcefully took off Mella's embrace and her aunt's. Maybe he who was a nephew was just taken for granted when the aunt saw Mella.

After the kangen-angen drama, they finally entered the house. Not wanting to wait long Hani immediately threw questions for Mella and also the aunt.

"Actually since when did the aunt know Mella?. whereas Mella is a new person who entered the university along with Hani." asked Hani to the aunt.

"We haven't known each other for a long time. It was a coincidence that we met at that time."

Della's mother then recounts the chronological encounter and her and Mella's introductions. Della's mother also recounted the bitter incident that befell Mella's family.

Until finally Mella ventured to reopen the case that befell the father. In order to get justice so that the father will not be remembered by the community like the news that has been circulating.

"Mella I'm sorry, it's not my intention to re-pick the wounds in your heart. I just want to get to know you and your family" Hani said, bowing her head.

"No Hani, no need to apologize. All of this has indeed become a destiny line that I have to go through." replied Mella.

Hani looks at Mella's face. The young girl in front of him was truly extraordinary. In his mind the woman always get injustice, but he also has advantages in the field of science and technology.

Hani is very proud to know Mella, a teenage girl who is far below her age looks so tough and she can pass the path of life to this day.

Although it is so bitter, but Mella can be at this point. The point where he was in a time filled with the light of victory.

"Mother may Mella know how General Pranoto is doing right now?" asked Mella.

"He was not put to death but only sentenced to life" replied Della's mother.

Mella smiled bitterly, she wished that General Pranoto could be put to death like her father. But what he can do now.

"Mella you must be very disappointed with this decision. But I hope you can be more mature with what's going on right now" said Della's mother.

"Mom, Mella has been sincere with all this, if indeed the punishment for General Pranoto is still unfair then I believe that God will give justice to him in the end" replied Mella.

"Are you not disappointed by the decision?" asked Della's mother.

"Let Ma'am, let the laws of our country proceed according to what the authorities in this country have planned."

"Don't you for a long time, if someone who is very rich, he will get the privilege of those who are poor when they make a mistake" Mella replied.

"Thank God that you're okay and have implemented it, but one day someone will have to enforce the law just as thoroughly."

"No matter who is at fault they should be treated the same, because they both made a mistake" said Ms. Della.

Mella nodded in agreement with what Della's mother said. The law should apply equally to the rich, the officials or to the poor.

But all this time if the crime is committed by the poor, then the law is very firm and very pointed. Unlike if the people who make these mistakes are rich people or an official.

So the law seems very weak and very blunt. For example, if a poor mother makes a mistake, her toddler child must be locked in the bars.

Conversely, if the rich mother who made mistakes, then the mother gets leniency by being obliged to report because she has a toddler child.
