The Tears of Mella
Chapters. 9. Dreamtime

"Jun I'm serious, I'm not kidding" Mella said.

"I'm serious too. I mean this place is in our world. A world that no one has ever been to." replied Jun.

"Are you sure?" asked Mella.

Jun smiled, then he closed both of Mella's eyes with one hand and the other hand guided Mella to stand and walk.

Mella is like a child. He walked with his eyes closed while his hands held tightly onto Jun's arms.

"Look, lady, we're walking over the waterfall right now. If this is a garden in the human world, surely the lady will fall and get soaked" Jun said, opening her arms.

Mella opened her eyes, she looked down and sure enough she was on top of a very clear waterfall.

Surrounded by colorful flowers with a very extraordinary fragrance. Mella walked along the water.

He then sat down trying to touch the water, how happy he was because the water was like water in general.

He quickly sprinkled the water towards Jun. Spontaneous it makes Jun surprised, but he quickly retaliates Mella's actions.

The two again ran small, chasing each other and occasionally splashing water towards the opponent. They laugh so happily.

The two then lay their bodies on the green grass. See the beautiful clouds as a blue sky.

"Jun, can I stay here ? this place is so beautiful. It's so quiet and peaceful" said Mella, staring at Jun, who was still smiling at the clouds.

"Miss, you can't stay in our world. Our world is different. Miss would be better off staying in the world of the lady herself." Jun replied with a slight disappointment.

"Do you mind if you invite me to stay here with you?" asked Mella again.

"That's not what it means, miss has to stay in the world. Because miss's destiny is to be human, not like us."

"If I could choose, I would be very happy to bring the lady to stay here together. Spending time together." Jun replied by staring at the pretty face in front of him.

"Jun, what should I do ? I don't have anyone anymore. Everyone looked at me with one eye. If only I could choose I'd better go along with my family "

"It would be better if I left a world full of lies and hatred. I want to live in peace and quiet." Mella replied with a tear in her eye.

"Don't be sad, miss, your life will be happy. Believe that. And one more thing, we take a walk this time to eliminate and forget for a moment the problems that exist."

"Not that we run, but we only need a moment to forget the problems and burdens of our lives. We deserve to be happy." Jun replied while wiping away those nearly fallen tears.

The two look at each other then smile, Mella grabs Jin's hand and uses it as a pillow. Peace began to be felt, slowly but surely both eyes began to shut.

He fell asleep with a sweet smile adorning his beautiful face. Jun smiled looking at Mella's face that was so soothing.

A masterpiece so extraordinary, so beautiful and perfect. Jun looked at that face without ever being satisfied and saturated.

Slowly Jun laid Mella's body on the bed, then covered her. When she was about to leave, Mella suddenly cried bitterly, while mentioning both her parents and her brother.

Mella screams and wakes up with sweat soaking her body. Jun quickly gave Mella a glass of water.

Mella immediately drank the water with one gulp. His breath was hunting and he was panting. Patiently Jun stroked Mella's face and patted her on the shoulder slowly.

"Are you having a bad dream?" asked Jun.

"That event always appeared in my dreams, the one where my family was gone for good" Mella replied.

"Have you always dreamed about it?" asked Jun in a bit of curiosity.

"Yes, those bitter memories always appear in my dreams. It was as if I was still in the situation back then. It's very clear in my memory every second and bitter moment." Mella replied.

'What exactly happened ? Until the event was so imprinted in the subconscious of this girl.' Jun inner.

"You'd better take some ablution water, and pray that your heart will be calmer" Jun said sincerely.

"Thank you Jun, you've always been there for me. But weren't we just walking in a beautiful garden ?."

"Is it just a dream, too ? Or is it just an illusion that you created to comfort me?." asked Mella as she looked at Jun's face.

Jun smiled at Mella's behavior, how it was a dream or an illusion. It was a beautiful reality Jun had ever felt. Even today he is grateful to be a genie who was met with Mella.

A girl who was so kind, even when she granted her request to have abundant wealth. He still chose a simple life with his solitude.

"Why are you smiling?" asked Mella.

"Did you think that it was just a dream?" asked Jun without answering Mella's question.

"Either way I remember we went somewhere, but now we're home. And I dreamt about that bitter event." Mella replied honestly.

"Well, lady, if you're not tired we'll continue our next plan" Jun said, then walked away from Mella.

While Mella could only look at him in confusion. He doesn't understand all this. Dream or reality, which must be very happy Mella can see a beautiful garden.

After that Mella got up and immediately cleaned herself up. Run the routine as usual. While Jun was just sitting pensively.

He still remembered the event they had passed together in the park earlier. So beautiful, this was the first time he felt so happy being a genie.
