Yoriichi stood quietly while examining the Night Raid members in front of him. From his appearance he made a guess that the person in front of him was none other than the Red-Eyed Killer Akame. His eyes were fixed on his sword, the feeling he caused made it clear that it was Teigu. "So, what can I do for you tonight?" Yoriichi asked the red-eyed killer.
"Where is Sheele?" One of the two women asked. Yoriichi's eyes widened behind his mask looking at who it was. Yoriichi looked back to see Leone standing ready against him. Although to him he mostly looks the same, there are some differences from his normal appearance. Now she has longer hair and several new lion features including two ears, one tail, and claws.
"He's fine." Yoriichi replied but although he was honest, he felt some very thin threads tightening around him. The Samurai frowned as he looked towards the person controlling the cable. 'Lubbock.' he said to himself. He had a feeling that they were hiding something but this was not what he expected.
" We know he lost his leg and was dying the night you took him! What have you done to him!" Lubbock yells at Yoriichi. Deep down he wanted to tell them who he was, but right now they were not friends going to his Cafe, but rather enemies. The wires around him tightened, cutting off a little bit of his clothes and mask.
The three stiffened as a small laugh came out from Yoriichi, “It seems I can't take you lightly. I let you this far in the hope that you will trust me and just wait for the day when I can return Sheele to you. Now, how about the four of us dance." Yoriichi said as he flexed his body before stretching out his hand. The green-haired teenager watched with widened eyes his wire was torn apart with pure force. His arm was torn by wire. On his arm were several small injuries caused by the tightening wires around him.
"Imust be!" He shouted while drawing a series of new threads. 'How...Is he healed!?' he thinks. The three members of Night Raid looked blown away as steam came out from the masked villain's wounds. In just a few seconds every wound on the man's body was gone.
"Let's see if you can handle 10 percent of my Zanka no Tachi." Yoriichi said to the group as he took the position . “The last person I used was destroyed before the battle actually began. I hope you three do better.” It was the last thing they heard before the masked Yoriichi attacked Leone. 'Better lower my speed.' he thought inwardly as he began to set parameters for himself. He did not want to speed up the attacks unintentionally and destroy them too quickly. 'That, Leone, and Lubbock are my friends.' Yoriichi thought to himself.
The lioness grinned as she ran towards the incoming teenager.The blonde girl threw out their punches at the same time. Yoriichi's fist and fire slash collided with each other, the shockwave causing the tiles beneath them to shatter. Leone snorted he struggled to match Yoriichi's strength. He could feel the bone in his right arm breaking and burning due to the power of that fire.
Yoriichi has no time to say anything clever because he is forced to dodge when Akame tries to help his friend. The red-eyed teenager tried to cut the Samurai with some perfect slashes that would hit him if not for Yoriichi's superior speed and reaction time. Each avoidance is only done with a minimum distance of about one millimeter. To them, it seemed like Yoriichi was leaving a shadow because of how fast he was moving. A small knife appeared in his right hand. The two blades clashed against each other causing some sparks.
It was obvious that even though Akame had better sword skills, Taiyo's strength and speed were far above his level. For the first time in their lives, Lubbock and Leone see Akame being pushed back in a sword fight. Worse, the masked teenager only used a small knife compared to Akame's sword.
"You're really great, Akame!" Yoriichi said before turning the small blade in his hand after they clashed again.Yoriichi grinned as the short juvenile sword spun into the air. "Zanka No Tachi!. "Yoriichi shouted as the Fire spread and burned the surrounding buildings.
the assassins from the Night Raid took a few steps back just to see the buildings surrounding it burning violently. the three Night Raid Members were goosebumps as they looked at Yoriichi's body and sword in a blanket of extremely hot flames. Yoriichi extinguishes the fire and with a very fast movement Yoriichi is behind Akame and slashes him, Akame manages to dodge even though some of his clothes are on fire.
"how dare you do that to Akame" Lubbock yelled at the Samurai
“You're the one who attacked me for no reason.” 'Yoriichi' said before turning Leone who was trying to smash her face with a powerful kick that destroyed the chimney of the building. 'Both are awesome!' Yoriichi laughs .Yoriichi throws a small knife at Leone.
The blonde haired lady could easily dodge her knife but at the last second she saw a tage stuck to the tip. A thick puff of smoke covered the area so he could not see the man who appeared behind him in a crouching position. "Try this one!" Yoriichi shouted while slapping Leone's butt. The woman flinched before she was sent flying while holding her back. Yoriichi grinned as he dodged the spear made of thread sent to him from Lubbock. Yoriichi leaned to the side avoiding the spear an inch.
The green-haired book seller grinned as his fingers caused a pile of thread to break down quickly covering Yoriichi. "I got you!" He shouted as he pulled the rope and cut the cloaked man to pieces. "Damn it, I didn't mean to kill him before we found out about Sheele's location." He muttered.
"I think you should look again." Said Yoriichi behind the killer. 'The 'Yoriichi' he killed turned out to be his robe. "That's a good trick!" yoriichi said before kicking Lubbock away.
The three of them stood side by side while facing the masked man. Yoriichi clapped his hands while walking towards them, "The three of you have already far exceeded my expectations. Now how about we stop playing around." Yoriichi said before charging at them at a speed almost faster than they saw. His first target was Lubbock who tried to avoid his initial blow but met with an unknown force that sent him flying back to another roof.
"Lubbock!" Leone shouted as she attacked the man who was secretly her drinking companion. The wind whirled around his fists as he dented them back. His left foot stomped on the roof tile as he prepared to punch Yoriichi with all his might. Yoriichi smiled when he saw the punch coming.
Yoriichi catches his wrist easily and is followed by throwing it. Akame attacked him in an attempt to stab him. Yoriichi dodged the attack and kicked the black-haired beauty on her left side, causing her to fall to the edge of the roof.
'Even if I don't use all my strength and speed, these three are impressive. Maybe with some training they can force me to use Zanka no Tachi up to 20 percent.' Thought Yoriichi while avoiding the scratches of Leone's claws. Yoriichi once again grabbed his arm and twisted it into an arm lock. "I'm sorry." she whispered before pinching the back of her neck.
Akame watched her last teammate fall. "I'll kill you." He said while attacking the smiling Yoriichi behind his mask. The two clashed against each other several times in the blink of an eye. "Where is Sheele?" He asked once again.
"I can't tell you." He said while looking into his eyes. For the first time Akame could see Yoriichi's eyes on the other side of her mask. "You are strong, but alone you will not be able to handle 10 percent of my firepower even your poison will not work on me." He said as he jumped back from it. The knife in his hand exploded into vanishing smoke to indicate that Yoriichi was now preparing his Nichirin katana.
The two stared at each other for a few seconds before attacking. Murasame met the Sword of Nichirin as the two clashed several times. Even if Yoriichi held back his speed a little, he couldn't help but admire the girl, not the woman's swordsmanship. It was refined to a level that he thought could rival Wave in his Transformational form. Even now he was moving faster than he thought he would need in this fight. What he lacked in speed compared to him, he did so with pure skill.
Akame was slowly pushed back by Yoriichi's faster and stronger attack. It took every ounce of skill he had to block most of his attacks. Although they had not done so long ago, his arms had already started to ache due to the tension.
Yoriichi jumped back a bit giving Akame a bit more space. The black haired woman gasped. He had never been pushed to use his sword skills so far. His opponent's attack did not have much skill behind him and was more random and easy to read but the speed coming towards him was one of the fastest he had ever seen.
Akame ducked under one of Yoriichi's swings and charged forward in hopes of stabbing him. The attack was easily averted by the Samurai who stepped aside. Yoriichi drops the knife in his right hand to deliver a hard blow to Akame.
Obviously he was just playing them. The way he fought was not serious at all, he even lowered his strength to fight him more balanced and still be on top of him. Although he hated the empire for what they did to his family, he could not help but be grateful for the training they gave him which was the only thing that made him able to keep up with his opponent.
The two meet once again when Nichirin Yoriichi's blade connects with his Teigu.
On the sidelines Tatsumi arrives to see his friend exchanging blows with masked criminal Taiyo. He couldn't help but be amazed at the incredible skill level the two possessed. She had seen how powerful Akame was but this man pushed her back. He is able to defeat his friends and push Akame to the true limit. “powers control fire, super speed, super strength, and the things he does with his knife. It's like Leone's Teigu but stronger!” He said to himself in a loud voice in panic before becoming calm when he saw the right time to attack. He knew if he got in the way and Akame accidentally scratched him, he almost died.
The speed of the two was just something blurry to him, but inevitably he felt something was amiss. The answer came in the form of an arrow that forced the two to separate. The fire erupted where the arrow landed but seemed to die quickly.
Yoriichi looked towards the origin of the arrow and saw Sayo wearing her Hime clothes. "Hey, what are you doing here!" He yelled at her. Akame unceasingly attacks Yoriichi whose attention is distracted. Tatsumi saw that 'Hime' was preparing to shoot his teammates with other fire arrows and decided to go straight into action.
Sayo doesn't know how to react when her long-lost friend, Tatsumi, appears out of nowhere and attacks her. But the look on his face frightened him, he did not hesitate to kill. The shock of seeing his friend alive was enough of a pause for Tatsumi to slash his chest.
Yoriichi's eyes widened when he saw the blood coming out of the green-eyed teenager's incision wound on his friend's chest. "Damn everything!" He shouted because he did not bother to hold back his speed and strength as he kicked Akame to break some of his bones in the process and then attacked Tatsumi.
"Tatsumi..why?" The Night Raid members eyes widened upon hearing that familiar voice.
"S-sayo?" he stutters before being blinded by Yoriichi. Tatsumi flinched as he flew due to the impact. The masked teen took his bloody friend and used his shirt to cover his wound before he bled out. "S-Sayo, is that really you?" He asked while crawling towards them. Yoriichi's killing intent flared up as he approached them. The sudden spiritual explosion had awakened the two unconscious assassins back to the real world.
Yoriichi watched as Sayo grabbed her mask and took it off. "Tatsumi.you're alive." He said while whispering. Even if the wound was gone, the pain was still there and the pain of knowing that it was his own friend who had given it to him even more deeply.
"Tatsumi, is she the friend you're talking about?" Leone asked as she walked closer. The teenager had told him all about his childhood friend and he knew how much his childhood friend missed him so much and to some degree he had a crush on him. That was what prompted him to join Night Raid and what almost got him killed earlier.
"Sayo, why are you with these people!?" he yelled at her. Yoriichi throws out his killing intent but focuses it on the boy. Tatsumi was forced to kneel as images of his death flooded his head. His body was unwilling to move as the shadow flooded his mind. The other Night Raid members watched their friend turn into trembling with just a sharp look.
"Sway. I was being polite to your group, but now you've hurt my surroundings." He growled, he was not really angry at the group in general, only at the boy who was trying to kill Sayo. He did not know that he had been the target of murder. The images stopped when Yoriichi stopped focusing his intentions on her.
"I'm his friend! I Don't know what you did to him to force him to join you, but I'm not going to forgive you." Tatsumi shouted at the Samurai who was standing with the black haired girl in his arms. Great pressure is exerted on them as the masked teenager unleashes more of his powers. This time he prevented them all from moving but had no vision of death.
While this is happening, Leone finally manages to catch the scent of Yoriichi. His nose twitched a few times as he recognized him from his daily commute to the Cafe. It smells ramen and sweet. Only one person he knew had that unique scent. "Yoriichi." he whispered so quietly that only he could hear himself saying the name over and over again in his head.
Yoriichi took a deep breath several times, "I'm sorry for my anger, but I really don't like it when my friend gets hurt. Your teammates and Teigu will be back in a few days after his recovery is complete. But for now I can feel the guards coming here as we speak. I'm not going to reveal your identity, I promise, and I'll never renege." Yoriichi said before disappearing.
Tatsumi knelt down before he started crying. The other three Night Raid members looked at each other before Leone picked up the teenager. They left just as the guards arrived at the scene. 'He's alive.' Tatsumi thought to himself as he was carried by Leone. The friend he thought was long dead turned out to be really alive. 'Who or what is Taiyo?'
Yoriichi lands on a roof away from where the fight is taking place. He wondered how long it would take the guards to get there. "You know me, Yoriichi." Naruto looked up at another roof and found Michikatsu standing there in disguise. “If I don't make a barrier, the area will be filled with guards in minutes.” Michikatsu said as he jumped up and looked at the unconscious girl in his sister's arms.“Sorry he was worried about you. Take better care of your responsibilities in the future.”
******* got out of Yoriichi's mouth before she nodded. The two of them left in the Vortex of Fire and the wind returned to their compound.
