Two weeks later
Yoriichi manages to take the day for himself to check on his friends. He arrives to see Spear training with Airi. "Naruto!" Spear shouted as he stopped the battle and ran to hug the smiling man and he walked home to see Sasuke talking to the Peace Lord. The two of them turned towards him before he even let out a sound as if they were expecting it.
"I told you he'd come, Yoriichi." The man said with a small smile while Michikatsu snorted in annoyance because he was proven wrong. Yoriichi grinned while sitting on one of the chairs. Spear moves in and sits next to Michikatsu which surprises Yoriichi because his older brother usually never lets anyone into their meetings. "Now. Michikatsu here has told me that you want to eliminate the man known as ?" the man asked Yoriichi who nodded. Right now, that is one of their priorities. "I had predicted that he would attack the Night Raid headquarters in three days. He will have a genetically modified human army. A very disgusting man."
Those who lived in the house were silent to the information. Sayo's betrayal is still fresh in their memories especially on Yoriichi. Of all the people at Home, Sayo and her have a special bond, Unlike the one she has with Michikatsu but a different kind.
"If you don't interfere, Sayo will die." The Ruler of the Peace Road added. Chief Yoriichi gasped at what he had just heard. His heart paused for a moment as his mind tried to understand what was about to happen.
"You're the one who handled this Yoriichi" said his older brother while standing with Spear following his movements. "Anyway, he's your business." He said with a grin before leaving with Spear following behind him.
Yoriichi sat still and motionless for hours before he smiled and nodded. "I'll stop him. Not just for Sayo, but for Leone, and for the people of this world." Yoriichi said as he stood up and from his chair and looked towards the Peace Lord who was also standing with an understanding smile on his face.
"Then I leave it to you Yoriichi." He said as he and Michikatsu walked out of the room followed by Spear. Yoriichi looked at his Katana to see the pale circle mark near the headwaters of his sword before walking up to one of the scrolls they had in the room. With the scroll in his hand he disappeared within the Vortex of Fire.
In the mountains
Yoriichi runs through the mountains while using his instincts to find his hiding place. He had to kill him before launching his attack on Night Raid. Using his Instincts, he managed to find a large collection of creatures that emerged from nature as if they were not meant to exist. Among them he could feel Stylish.
His entire body was wrapped in smoke as he sealed his normal clothes for the sake of his Taiyo clothes. His bright eyes shone through the hole of the mask meant for his eyes. The night air had cooled the area causing strong winds to blow through the mountains. As he approached the base, he noticed that some people near Stylish started moving towards him.
'They must have sensors.' Yoriichi thought inwardly as he held onto his Nichirinya katana tightly. Beside him two clones appeared in a small explosion of smoke. "Zanka No Tachi" exploded to the surface shortly after Yoriichi called out the name.
The underground fighter had no chance to react before his body was hit by the rising magma. Yoriichi jumped over the lake of Fire that he had formed—ignoring the screams of pain—before he proceeded towards the larger group. The number of opponents continues to grow as the number that joins increases.
but all that was nothing to Yoriichi, with the ability of Zanka No Tachi, the mutants burned before they even approached Yoriichi. Stylish leaned over to her monitor during the sudden change. "This is for you they're innocent victims!" Yoriichi exclaimed as he let out a huge amount of fire explosion. The entire army stopped to gasp at the growing waves of flames that were charging towards them. It easily filled the gap between the mountains as flames flooded the area between the mountains.
The screams of the soldiers' horror were muffled by the flames that rolled over them and killed many of them instantly. From his base, Stylish watched with interest as he was slaughtered by masked men.
“ There are still some who are still alive.” thought Yoriichi.The fire moved as Yoriichi raised his hand. Immediately a large amount of flames gathered into a huge sphere that housed the remains of the mutant army he was facing. He could feel them trying to find a way out of his attack but to no avail.
"The Sun Fire Cemetery!" Yoriichi shouted while increasing the heat of the fireball. It didn't take long for everyone trapped inside the ball to die. "Now for the innocent." Yoriichi said as he dropped his control onto the fire and let it back among the few limbs or bodies that were poking out of the fire as he walked towards the mad doctor's location.
Instead of hiding as Yoriichi thought, Stylish instead confronts him with his seemingly last men. The man clapped his hands while walking towards Yoriichi with a big smile on his face. "Good job! Watching such a stylish assault is a very pleasant event...Yoriichi." The mad doctor said, not getting a visible reaction from Yoriichi other than a little tense stand.. "Oh surprised? It's easy to find out after thinking about it. A new killer shows up in town and a few days later a new cafe opens up out of nowhere? That and your weapon are the same as what I've seen you use in the past." Stylish said to the masked man glaring at the man through the hole in his mask.
"I don't know about that, motherfucker, but I know one thing." Yoriichi said while tightly holding onto his red sword. "You're going to die today." Yoriichi said as he pointed his sword at Stylish.
The man started to giggle before he laughed out loud. "Yes! This is the style I want to surpass! You made Esdeath look like a child! I can see it now, the result of a dangerous monster made from your DNA and that of General Esdeath. It would be the most stylish creature in this country. No. gabe. In this world!"
Yoriichi growled at what the man implied. "It's as if I'm gonna let you take over my hand." The doctor removed a strange needle filled with a strange liquid. The Stylish man last attacks Yoriichi only to be slashed and turned into dust within seconds. Some of that time was long enough for Stylish to inject himself with a syringe.
" Now, look at my ultimate style!" The man roared as his body swelled and enlarged. Naruto looked on with disdain as the man's body grew to a large size and somehow gained a body part that was machine. The man - if you can call him so - laughed while staring at Naruto. " I finally surpassed all others in terms of beauty and strength! Now die! " The man shouted while lashing out a punch with his newly acquired mechanical arm.
" Pathetic." Yoriichi said as he caught the attack with one hand. Stylish's eyes widened as he watched his attacks stop as if he was just a child. Yoriichi yawned while lifting up the monster's entire body and throwing it into the mountain.
"Are you done?" Yoriichi asked while looking at the beast standing back up. That towering figure did not bother the blonde at all. After all he had faced a creature that was several times stronger and larger than the new form of doctor.
"Oh, just shut up!" Yoriichi shouted as he slammed his palm onto the ground. The coral grows rapidly under the giant body that wraps its legs and feet.The man shoots Yoriichi who uses his fire to negate it, which leaves Stylish shocked. "I'm done with you. You have caused so much suffering to the people of this world. You have separated families and turned your own comrades into monsters for the sake of your crazy mission. Now I'm putting the death penalty on you!"
" Impossible! How can you handle my style?!" Jaeger's doctor shouted as Yoriichi gathered a fiery flame into his right hand. The eyes of the Dangerous Beast widened when he heard the sound of flames enlarging as it blew in the wind. In Yoriichi's hands, a ball of Fire was formed followed by a high spiritual pressure.
"This is if for the sake of all your love is destroyed!." Yoriichi shouted while launching an attack at Stylish's feet. The man screamed in pain as his body burned millions of times until there was nothing left but the rest of his human upper body.
"Stay away from me!" Stylish yells trying to crawl away from the glowing Yoriichi.
“How many say the same to you?” Yoriichi said while focusing all his fire on the tip of his sword. The man was speechless again before Yoriichi slashed his head. When the man's body turned to dust, along with a large hole in the ground to destroy the lab.
"Doctor!" Yoriichi heard while looking at Seryu and Esdeath running towards him. Yoriichi sighed as he sheathed back Nichirinya. He saw no reason to use it anymore considering even fighting the army proved too excessive for them. The girl gasped as she saw a pair of glasses lying on the floor in front of Yoriichi. "You're criminals! How dare you do that to one of our justice fighters!" He snarled at the masked man.
“Other dirty insects have shown his face.” Yoriichi said as he turned his head towards the girl who seemed to be receiving the insults very badly. “You said you were new, you let someone like that sacrifice their lives for their pleasure. You let the poor starve to death while you live in luxury. The rich use the poor as their toys. I won't let this continue. !" Yoriichi yelled at them while letting out Spiritual Pressure.
“Seryu...” said Esdeath with a big smile on his face. "So far from this battle."
The Night Raid Base
Sheele and Sayo were arguing with each other. The purple-haired killer elbowed Sayo's stomach hard enough to cause the black-haired girl to cough up blood before falling to her knees. "Come, wake up." Sheele said to the newest member of their group. Ever since he joined, they spent countless hours each day to ensure that each of them was strong enough to avoid further death.
The death of Round had dealt a heavy blow to many of them. Not only is he one of their strongest members – perhaps the strongest – he is a beloved friend and elder brother to many of them. They did not have time to grieve for too long thanks to the Empire's growing strength. With Tatsumi picking up the armor, he had prepared for his own training. If they wanted to fight against people like Esdeath, they had to become stronger.
"How do you expect to face Yoriichi like you?" Sheele said while kicking Sayo's back. He himself was very upset with the girl. He is so close to Yoriichi that he gains his affection after he saves his life and helps him recover but he throws it all away. In her eyes Tatsumi was a great man, she could not compare him to Tsugikuni. He personally sensed the power it emitted. How warm and protective it was at that moment healed him from his wounds.
Sayo threw away her face. His relationship with Leone and Sheele has not been the best since he joined the group. He knew that the two of them had strong feelings towards the man who had saved his life and thought of a way to fight. Leone is dating Yoriichi. Her relationship with Tatsumi has returned as it was before they split for the first time.
The two always carry out missions together as long as they are not too dangerous. His training with Yoriichi had allowed him to compensate to a certain degree but he was still losing his skill with the rest of the group. The only chance he expects to fight is Lubbock, but even so the odds are very small.
"Sayo!" He heard Tatsumi calling as he ran towards the two. Sayo blushed a little at how tight her friend had been for the months she spent with Night Raid. It was obvious that he had just finished his training in the river. "Do you want to go to town today?" He asked her before they sensed a new presence in the area.
"It looks like you two have progressed quite a long way since we last met Sayo."
The two turned their heads and saw Tsuki walking towards them. Tatsumi immediately responded by transforming into his Incursio armor which to some extent attracted Michikatsu's interest but he was not impressed overall. 'I just found out if that guy died.' Michikatsu didn't even bother to remember the name of the now-deceased killer.
"What do you want?" Tatsumi asked as he prepared to fight. Sayo stood quietly behind him. Again, he did not know what to do. If he attacks Michikatsu then Yoriichi will see him as an enemy regardless of their past friendship. If anything, she doesn't want to hurt Yoriichi more than she already did by leaving them to work with Tatsumi.
"I'm not here to talk to you." Michikatsu said coldly as he walked towards the two. Sheele stood to the side without saying anything. Even if he doesn't know Tsuki as he did Kitsune or rather Yoriichi, he still knows that Tsuki has an interest in Yoriichi and the best in the world. "I need to talk to your friend Akame."
"Are you going to do it? After what you did to us, you thought we'd let you in?" Tatsumi shouted at the samurai who narrowed his eyes at the teenager. Tatsumi almost regretted speaking out against Michikatsu as he began to look at the image of a giant Dragon with blood red eyes and Blue scales with white fur behind the masked man. 'What is that thing!' thought the young members of Night Raid.
Within seconds Akame and Leone arrived feeling a menacing sensation from their location. "Two!" Leone shouted as she walked towards him. Michikatsu turned towards him. Even if he is a member of that group, he is still his best friend's girlfriend. "Where is Yoriichi? I haven't seen him in days, I'm sure you know about the Esdeath ordeal." He asked worriedly at the man who had taken his heart
"He's fine. I can't tell you more, but I can assure you that he's not in trouble." He said before turning to Akame. "I need to talk to you about Kurome."
