The Michikatsu side

Michikatsu could not hold his jaw as he walked to his Toko that had not been opened by his sister, but had been arranged neatly by Yoriichi.

"I never thought, I went shopping Our store was still dirty and when I came home I couldn't clean anything." Michikatsu thought, Looking around he found Yoriichi sitting next to Sayo who was still asleep. "I'm back."

Yoriichi looked at her brother and smiled, Yoriichi looked at Sayo who was still asleep and frowned, "Whatever they do to her really hurts her. I can heal his wound but I can't help him in his mind." Yoriichi said before enveloping the girl.

The two brothers walked back to the kitchen area. Michikatsu opened some food bags. “I didn't think I bought this much with just a fraction of what we had.” Michikatsu muttered as Yoriichi kept his food. The two frowned slightly before Yoriichi started making Ramen, and Kroket.

“What should we do against this Empire?” Yoriichi asked as he started heating the water to make ramen for the two of them. He could not ignore the evil that took this city for granted, it would betray the dreams of all those who died in the search for peace. Even if the world is not the same, peace remains peace and he should make the most of their situation and help these people.

Yoriichi nodded before looking towards the room where he left Sayo, "He's up." While standing, Yoriichi walks into the room and finds the girl he saved sitting on his bed. Naruto was a little worried as he looked at the blank expression on his face and the dead look in his eyes.

"Your name is Sayo, right?" Yoriichi asked to attract his attention. The sun swordsman frowned when he saw the hollow look he gave her. It seemed like the time he spent with that cursed family was really weighing on his mind. He also knew his friend was dead.

"Yes." Yeah." He said low before looking down. Yoriichi could see tears streaming down his face, no doubt remembering the fate of his friend. "Did he die smiling?" He asked Yoriichi. Yoriichi sat down next to him and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Yes. He told me to take care of you and tell his friend Tatsumi that he's sorry." Yoriichi said as Michikatsu entered while carrying a bowl of ramen. Yoriichi smiled as he handed the bowl to the girl before walking out of the room. 'It looks like it's a good side.' Yoriichi thought to himself. "By the way, my name is Yoriichi. There's some old chemono in the closet just in case you need to cover it." Yoriichi said slightly blushed.

The black-haired girl looked puzzled before feeling a light breeze. Looking at her body, she finally realized that she was completely naked in front of a man she had just met. "HENTAI!" and with that he pushed Yoriichi out of the room. The swordsman laughed as he let himself be pushed out.

While walking out he finds Michikatsu looking through some of the weapons that were already in the store before. Most have been damaged from being abandoned for too long, but some can still be used. One of them was a Katana that was similar to the one he had but with different materials from Nichirin.

"You're so nice." Yoriichi said as he walked towards his older brother. Rarely was my brother so kind.

"You make it sound like a pet." Yoriichi said before taking a look at his weapon. “I think we should find his friend Tatsumi. She might be happier with him than living with two strangers.” Yoriichi said while taking out a metal bow. It was a bit worn out but there was nothing that the blacksmith could not fix.

"He knows who we are. Right now we are not known by this Empire and that is a good thing. All we know is this Tatsumi kid could be part of the army and I'm sure he'd rather help his friend than cover for us." Michikatsu said as he looked at the few carats of his sword.

"We won't kill him or hold him prisoner." Yoriichi was fixated on what his brother implied. "She had good intentions but was currently a bit confused." Yoriichi said before seeing something among the weapons he did not expect. Yoriichi put down his bow and walked over to find two ditch knives. "I'll keep it." Naruto said out loud before they heard the door of the monastery open.

The two brothers looked back and saw a blushing Sayo standing in front of the door wearing Yoriichi's Kimono who kept trying to escape. "Thank you for the food." He said to Yoriichi before walking towards Naruto. "I need a new shirt. My old clothes were smashed and this was continuous" He did not finish his sentence when his robe came off and revealed his entire naked figure to the two.

Michikatsu sighed and walked away while Naruto could only stare for a while before throwing his face away. "Eh, I'll do that soon." Yoriichi said as Sayo covered herself up again. "What are you gonna do?" Yoriichi asked him. He needs to know what the girl is going to do. He doesn't like it very much but Michikatsu has a few points. They are not able to be found and tracked at this time. Who knows what this place will do to try to reach them.

Sayo looked towards the direction the city was in, "I don't know. With Ieyasu and Tatsumi's deaths still missing, I have nowhere to go. We'll join the military at first." Although he could not see it, Yoriichi was a little tense at the mention that they would join the army. "But after what happened...I don't know. All I know is that Tatsumi's joined." He said while taking the bow that Yoriichi had seen before.

Yoriichi smiled at him, "You know how to shoot arrows?" Naruto asked when he saw her looking at her weapon.

"Yes. I trained with one of them in my home village with Ieyasu and Tatsumi before we set out to join the military." He answers.

"I know my brother will be upset, but you can stay with us until you know what you want to do." Yoriichi said before walking in leaving the girl to think about what she said. Yoriichi turned the corner and saw Michikatsu leaning against the wall.

“You believe too much. Technically has become the enemy of that city.” Michikatsu said before walking past his sister. "If he betrays us..." Michikatsu begins before looking back at his sister with Nichirin coming out of the sheath. "...I won't give him a second to beg for mercy." The older brother finished before leaving Yoriichi and walked into one of the empty rooms that he claimed as his own.

Sayo outside sat under a tree and thought about her future. 'What should I do? Maybe Tatsumi did join the military or maybe he died on the way.' He thought before holding his head. Tears were flowing down his face. She had gone through torture without crying in the slightest, but the story was different with her friends. Ieyasu and Tatsumi have always been there for her and now one of them has been gone forever and the other is still a mystery.

Moreover, he no longer knew what he should think about the Empire. Originally he saw it as the way his village gained fame, but now he had seen and felt evil within the empire.
