The Underwater Palace

The Underwater Palace
Kuntilanak

I climbed higher up the mango tree because I saw above the fruit a great many. The tree was quite tall almost through the roof of the house, when I went up and faced the roof my eyes immediately wide.

I saw a transparent white shadow above the house, I sharpened my vision again carefully. The shadow was waving like a cloth in the wind, for a moment the shadow was so clear and for a moment it was faint.

It looked like a long-haired female figure with a not-so-obvious face staring at me.

I slowly descended with trembling legs and a racing heart.

“Di! Odi come down!” I said while my feet were groping.

“Not many of these wait for me to take the one above the big-gede!” his yell.

“Udah don't have to come down!” my sahut jumped from the top of the tree.

“You why the Ya? Can only get a little,” said Laras.

“There ... How I said it!” I said with a trembling body.

“You are nervous what is it?” ask Laras.

“Odi let's get off at the tile there kuntilanak!” I scorch while pulling the Baras.

“Mamaaaaaa!” his screams called for his mother while coming down from the tree.

Without thinking long Odi down quickly from the top of the tree while carrying the mango.

“Come on!”

“Aya don't stay with me dong!” Odi jumped up and took his back.

Along the way Odi ran while shouting to call his mother. I also ran not only the sighting that scares me but the location of the road in the area of my house is also minimal lighting, there are only a few incandescent lights for street lighting.

But not with Laras he instead laughed out loud because he saw Odi kept running while calling his mother.

“Ha-ha-ha. Aya temen you kocak where the fastest run again.”

“He is so if scared,” I said while running.

We ran up to the front of the house, with breaths of gasp I sat leaning against the door.

“This is because you are in. Ngajak help mango night-night!” I said while holding my breath.

“You really saw the kunti earlier?” ask Laras.

“Iya Race on the tile!” my spoken.

“Iya I saw white-white on the tile.”

“Eh I had time to take a big-mede fitting down. He-he-he,” Odi brings out the smile of his horse.

“Cengar-cengar aja dry your teeth arentar,” said Laras.

“Udah let's divide aja mango, how much do you get?” my many.

“Six seeds are good enough to bully the same people guard tonight.”

“I got four,”.

“Nih Race me for you 2 seeds,” said Odi gave his mango.

“Nih two for you also Ras,”.

“Kok a lot. This is aja.”

“Udah take it. I don't like to eat it I just like to help it,” I said laugh.

“Assyik thanks ya.”

“Ya I go home first yes,” said Odi.

“Ya be careful.”

Me and Laras went inside the house and sat in front of the TV. Laras is still asking for the kuntilanak problem I saw.

“Indeed kuntilanak it's shape is indeed rich on TV huh?” ask Laras.

“Ya is Ras, but it's easier to see the original,”.

“Wah I was curious.”

“Huss! If you say do not carelessly Ras!” my spoken.

Instantly the words of Baras were like a summoning spell of a fine creature, all the fine hairs on my hands and feet stood up. I felt a strange air behind me, it was cold and tickling the nape of my neck.

Me and Laras instantly quietly spoke nothing. I started to feel heavy dizziness and a little nausea. All my body was cold and shaking cold sweat came out of my forehead. I hugged my knees tightly

“Yes why?” ask Laras.

“Yes! Aya!”

I could still hear Laras screaming for you until I lost consciousness.

***

'My head feels heavy and limp, ' I thought.

I opened my eyes, I was surprised that there were so many people surrounding me

“Why are there so many people?” ask Abah who was beside me.

“Wake up first then drink this!” abah said give me a glass of water.

I got up and drank the water, and I saw Laras sitting with his eyes open.

“You why Race?” my many.

“This is actually what?” ask again.

I also saw a few sheets of raindrops beside me, as far as I know the leaves or commonly called dlingo are used to treat someone who is possessed by being hit-pukulkan to the body of a person who is in possession.

“You're possessed Yes,” says Laras.

“You finished what Yes how can you get like this?” ask abah.

“See watching TV earlier Bah same Laras, out of it do not know again forget,”.

“You were screaming hysterically and crying while angry with Abah,” said Laras.

“Hah?” I said it as if I didn't believe it.

“Iya. You screamed until we came here. Said the Odi you see kuntilanak pas nyolong mango in an empty house!” say one of my neighbors.

“But thankfully there are those who have a jars plant so you can ask for a little,”.

“Abah Aya, we say thank you first that Aya has realized. Aya you do not forget to pray a lot,” said my neighbor.

“Aggih (iya),” suhutku.

Some neighbors came one by one to their homes, Laras came straight to me.

“Yes you're okay, right?” said it.

“Neg. I'm just limp,” I said.

“Aya Abah don't want you to do haphazard anymore. This is the last one to understand!” say abah firmly.

“Iya Bah,” sahutku.

Abah got up from her seat and headed for the kitchen while tidying up some messy stuff.

“I was actually possessed?” I asked Laras slowly.

“Yes, your eyes are glaring at me while shouting furiously. I was scared so I called abah straight away,” said.

“So those messy things are because of me?” my many.

“Iya. You actually I have been holding but I can't help you very strong I even you push it until blue,” said Laras while showing his bruised legs.

“I think I told mama to plant this, this leaves are great you just immediately scream in pain and until asking for forgiveness to abah when struck using these leaves. Though at the slow pace,” said Laras while taking the leaf.

“This is indeed said to be an antidote to delicate creatures, I would say that a newborn baby is usually on his head in this place,” I explained to Laras.

“Aya sorry I yes if not for my careless mouth this you will not be like this,” said Laras.

“Udah no Race.”

I slowly got up and sat leaning against the wall, Laras looked at the clock and he intended to go home.

“Aya it was a really good night, I came home yes,” he said.

“You don't stay here?” my many.

“I haven't done a job Yes,”.

“Ya already you if you go home to read the prayer first yes, do not forget that mango is the same fish,” I said.

The barrel runs outside and turns on the motor.

“Aya, Abah Laras came home yes,” he said.

“Iya be careful you on the road,” said Abah.

I was standing at the door with my brother, I vaguely saw something white sitting behind Laras as he drove away on his motorbike.

“Bah! Barrel take the guy!” I said to the man who went inside first.
