THE WASTED WIFE

THE WASTED WIFE
FLASHBACK

Olivia woke up in the middle of the night. For a moment he felt alien to his bed. Her stomach was heavy because her hands were holding her. It really came to a realization as his memories gathered all together.

Slowly Olivia turned her body to face Oliver who fell asleep next to her in a position facing Olivia.

Olivia's wiggle gently stroked the face to the lips of the handsome man. Oliver didn't budge a bit. Olivia smiled at him. "It turns out he was sleeping very well. You're always good-looking all the time" muttered Olivia who slowly got out of bed wanting to see her son who was also sleeping very well.

Olivia tightened the blanket over Asley's body. The clock on the wall still shows three o'clock in the morning, Houston city air feels very cold even without air conditioning.

Olivia is back in the fight. He turned his body back next to Oliver. As if aware of Olivia's whereabouts, Oliver's hand pulls the body of the woman he loves deeply into his arms. "Where are you from, hem?", said Oliver hoarse sounding still closed his eyes.

Olivia turned her body with her head leaning against the chest of the male field. "I was awake. I saw Asley, that kid who sleeps always won't wear a blanket. The weather is now very cold".

Oliver flashed a smile on his lips, still with his eyes closed.

"Asley looks like me, right? I also don't like sleeping in blankets or anything" Oliver replied as he wrapped his hands around Olivia's neck.

"You're a bad example" exclaimed Olivia, linking her left hand fingers to Oliver's right hand fingers in front of her chest.

"That means I don't have to do any more DNA testing on that kid. Her face and her behavior are really a reflection of mine", jolly Oliver.

Oliver smiled at it. "Of course not. My son has to be better than me" Oliver answered, opening his eyes.

"When I married you I was very young, twenty-five. While you're nineteen. I've been in a relationship with Claudia for a long time. I felt a deep love for that woman. I was comfortable with him so that our relationship could last for years. But when my father died, it was written in his will that all the assets that were there would be mine and Elara's. On condition that I would accept it after I got married and Ela did not continue her desire to be a ballerina. Ela must be one of the commissioners at Lucifer's company, but Ela prefers her own path. He left everything and lived as he chose. While I want that legacy. I have loved the business world for a long time" Oliver said as he squeezed Olivia's fingers tied to her fingers.

Olivia didn't comment anything she listened to Oliver's story. This is the first time the man has told Olivia about himself.

A moment only heard the breath of each. Silent.

"You and Claudia have loved each other and been lovers for a long time, why didn't you marry her to get your inheritance?"

Olivia was relieved after asking Oliver the question. He has long harbored his curiosity.

"I know you've never loved me Oliver. But you always claim your rights when you're with me.."
