The Winner Takes Everything

The Winner Takes Everything
Jack Assailed

When he was still a soldier, he coexisted with his sword and shield and never even thought of life

He has gone through the worst of the worst. Not much has changed since Brent arrived.

Jack isn't worried about people in the family business. He even added exercise sessions to his daily routine.

Over the past few years, she has devoted herself to working and caring for her mother, Sophie.

So he wanted to take it because he had more time now.

But what Mr. Ward told her really made her uncomfortable.

'I miss the cultivation of the family elite, so I cannot become an elite?

Or am I inferior to the so-called elites of the family?"

He doesn't buy this anymore.

He knew that he had suffered from tremendous stress and pain

Except for herself, only Sophie understood how difficult it was.

So he lived his life and let those who judged him shut up.

At sunrise, Jack went jogging in a nearby park.

He was bathed in sweat, but he didn't stop.

The park was empty before Jack arrived

He had scheduled his training as early as possible to maximize his working time despite having to sacrifice his sleep.

On the park trail, the street lights are still on.

He saw something moving in the dark.

A man appeared right in front of him and suddenly rushed towards him.

"Who is that?" yell Jack

He thinks it's a robber.

The man laughed.

"Show me what you got, motherfucker!"

It was the man from the Hughes family! He's been trying to find Jack.

Jack surprised.

The man ran towards her and kicked her chest.

Jack was blocked with his hands in front of his chest due to instinct.

Booms!

Jack fell to the ground hard as if his bones were broken.

"Fuck! You are very weak. Why would he expect you to take over the family?"

The man ran towards Jack again quickly like thunder.

The streetlight was too dim for Jack to identify the man.

Jack remembered what Mr. Ward told him

He knew that the man would kill him.

Jack panicked with a terrible shiver

A second later, the man attacked with a leg kicking towards Jack's head.

'He really wants to kill me?

Jack narrowed his eyes as he realized that he was unable to defeat the man.

Suddenly, another man appears in front of Jack.

It's Brent! Brent grabbed the man's leg and threw it away furiously.

"Go! George Hughes, do you have the guts to attack the young master? You don't want to live?" shout Brent.

"Oh, Brent? Old Master seemed to appreciate this bastard and sent you to protect him."

George wasn't too hurt even after being thrown by Brent.

Jack was completely silent.

He's about the size of George. But if he was thrown out, he would be severely injured.

As George walked towards them, Jack saw his face clearly.

With sharp facial features and fair skin, George sneered in disdain.

This guy is wild

Jack is good at reading people's faces, because he has worked in the real estate industry for a long time.

Of course he is.

"Did you dare kill me? You're just a Hughes family security guard. But I'm one of his successors."

george said haughtily

"Yes, I'm Mr. Ward's bodyguard, not the Hughes family.

You better not forget I taught you how to fight" Brent said without hesitation.

"I will die doing that just like the old master told me!"

"How faithful!"

"That loser can't fight me. That's why he needs you to protect him. But I'm not going to kill him today" George said, chuckling.

"I just came to see what this bastard can do."

"What a pathetic loser. The Old Master was a fool for putting high hopes on you," George said arrogantly.

"Do you feel anxious?"

"If you could afford just a little, he wouldn't have thought I'd take over the family" Jack said with a cynical smile.

George's heart was pierced with his frozen smile.

"Are you talking to me?" George said angrily as he gritted his teeth.

Every young person from the family wants to take over a big family.

But the old master was just expecting a bastard back to take over

It was undoubtedly a way of slapping their faces.

As the descendants of the family elite, how could they give up their seats to this bastard?

Jack grinned as he said, "Let's go home, Brent."

George was ignored

He was burning with angry eyes.

But he knows, as long as Brent is around, he can't beat Jack.

The old master assigns his nearby security guard, Brent, to protect Jack. That clearly shows how much Jack means to her.

"You'll see how elites differ from bastards" George sneered.

Back home, Jack threw himself on the couch.

"Thank you for doing that."

Brent shook his head, "That's my job."

Jack laughed with relief.

If it wasn't for Brent, she couldn't even imagine what George would have done to her

As Mr. Ward said, these people dare to kill.

"Brent, you said you taught George to fight?"

"Yes, Brent replied.

"Then teach me," said Jack with a determined look.

What George had just done made him feel nervous.

He is not afraid of losing what he has, but of George's indifference to his life.

He suddenly felt like he was exposed to incredible danger.

She really needs to protect her mother, other than herself.

In the next few days, before the start of a busy workday, Jack exercises with Brent in the park in the morning.

Everything went well as planned

Sophie is getting better and better.

And after that morning, George left.

With a blink of an eye, it was the 1st of September.

It was 13:00, and Jack didn't have lunch. He had to examine the presales proposal of the West Shantytowns.

With its infrastructure nearing completion, it has recently been sold.

Jack is very satisfied with the pre-sale and is confident in the sales performance of the property.

Finally it was time to reap as he put in a lot of effort for the project.

Jack rubbed his nose with a frown as he thought of something.

He pulled out his phone and scanned the messages.

Suddenly, his eyes froze.

Seeing the message from Amber, she finally remembered she was coming back.

Amber said, "Jack, are you at the airport?"

And this was sent half an hour ago.

Damnit damnit!

How could he forget this?

Jack was annoyed that they had already made an appointment a few days ago.

He was so busy that he had to help him?

Jack quickly replied, "Amber, are you still at the airport? Excuse me. I'm very attached today, and I mute my phone."
