The World Of The Venerate: Cursed Exorcist
Chapter 0 - Prologue

Since the beginning of this world called Lamue was created, some of the living things that exist and live in it are often referred to as Venerate, namely practitioners who have the ability to manipulate natural energy into a supernatural force.

In a world dominated by most of the human race there are various types of Venerate with diverse abilities spread across several continents.

One type of Venerate is the Slivans, a pure human race that inhabits the territory of two continents, they are spread from the eastern part of the continent of Greune to the northern part of the continent of Antikara, even that is still not counted with the nations who have blood of their own descendants.

Unlike the other types of Venerate, the Venerate of the Slivan nation itself has an ability to interact directly with astral beings without having to use a special ability.

Because it makes the Venerates of the Slivans always dabble in the astral world, and even some of them have the profession of exorcising evil astral spirits for the payment of obtaining energy from these spirits to obtain energy other than nature itself.

The history of the Slivans themselves is very long and not inferior to other nations in Lamue. Since the first establishment of a sovereign country about seventy centuries before the battle of the Venerate with the holy creatures, a major event that changed the era of the world, the Venerate, the Slivans remained and were divided into several states until the early thirteenth century.

If counted before and after the battle with the holy creatures, the Slivans have been and have survived for approximately ten millennia and not perished from the surface of the world.

Beginning about the seventy century before the Venerate and the sacred creature wars, the first Slivan state with a monarchical system of government was established and centered in the eastern part of the continent of Greune. The country survived to sixty centuries and has expanded its territory to the north and center of the opposite continent which is none other than the Antikara continent before finally collapsing due to absolute defeat during the feud with other nations.

Then after the land of the Slivans collapsed, within a few decades the Slivans rose again and built their country again after gaining strength from a sacred creature in the form of a peacock.

Out of respect for the holy beings who gave them strength and assistance, the Slivans eventually named their country after Pavonas, after the holy creature.

After the land of Pavonas stood for four centuries, the country was then faced with an internal problem, where because it has a large area stretches finally make the Slivans scattered in it have different understandings and ideologies, so a part of the Slivans who were divided into two groups finally each decided to separate from Pavonas, making a new country called the land of Graina and the land of Nascunia.

Three centuries later, after the partial separation of the Slivans into a new land, Pavonas was again faced with the same problem. Now a small part of the Slivans who inhabited the northwestern region of Pavonas had a different understanding, which they then decided also to secede and establish a new land called Riemic.

The breakup of the Slivans came twenty centuries after the Venerate wars with the holy creatures, now joined by a small group of one of the peoples who inhabited the continent of Greune, the Slivans broke away from the land of Graina and formed a new land called Midauz along with the Frieden, which was the largest nation on the continent of Greune.

Until the beginning of the thirtyth century after the Venerate wars with the holy creatures, the Slivans who were originally one had split into five states.

The vast territory was acquired by them while traveling across the continent of Greune to the continent of Antikara and first claimed the territory of Briseria, the northern region of the continent of Antikara uninhabited at that time.

Because it has the most extensive territory of other countries, making Pavonas have many enemies who also do not want to control their territory.

One of the countries most hostile to Pavonas is the land of Tengal, a land whose inhabitants have the blood of Slivans and Tian people, one of the largest nations that inhabit the continent of Antikara.

The story centers on a man named Gudov Aliksnov who during his life always lost his loved ones, making him assume that it is a curse for him.

Starting from a young age, Gudov who lived in the region of Breiseria, Pavonas previously lived peacefully with his parents.

It did not last long when troops from Tengal country came to invade the area where he lived, making both parents lost their lives due to the attack.

Instead of seeking revenge for the death of his parents, Gudov, who was just an ordinary human, has no power to fight them.

Suddenly, it is revealed that Gudov actually has a hidden power within him. He was then taught by a Venerate to become an exorcist of evil spirits commonly done by the Venerate Slivans.

Besides doing his profession, Gudov secretly slaughtered Tengal troops to avenge his parents.

However, in addition to his revenge process, fate is always unfair to him by always taking away people who are loved by him.
