The World Of The Venerate: Cursed Exorcist
Chapter 5 - Influence of the power of the golden statue

“Where is the statue?”

“Sorry, but I sold it and got the money. If you're angry, I'd share my share with you.” Tseydle said.

“This I give you a hundred Crowns. The gold sells for a weight of three kilograms, so I, Zinon and Yukarin divide it by two hundred Crowns.” each Tseydle then gave half of his share to Gudov.

“I don't need that money.. But, you guys sold that gold for two hundred for his perkilogram?” However, Gudov did not want to accept the money and then asked something.

Tseydle nodded his head, answering a question from Gudov.

“Akh...” Knowing this, Gudov became upset and kicked Tseydle's leg because his friend could easily be fooled.

“As you know, a kilogram of gold can be sold for up to four hundred thousand Crowns. When in fact I would say that the statue should be given to Mr. Yermo because you carelessly picked it up, but you sold it instead, and ended up being fooled,” said Gudov angrily snapping at his friend.

Hearing Gudov's explanation, Tseydle was shocked, not expecting that he had been cheated by the shopkeeper before.

“Then we have to how Gudov? I already sold it?” Tseydle asked, confused as to what to do.

“Follow me.. We go to the place where you sold the statue.” Gudov immediately pulled Tseydle back to the shop where the statue was sold.

Gudov and Tseydle reached the previous store and then entered it, approaching the shopkeeper.

“Oh you... What's back?” Ask the shopkeeper.

“I want to take back the golden statue,” without waiting for Tseydle to answer a question from the shopkeeper, Gudov directly asked for the gold statue sold to them.

“Sorry son, but that thing can not be sold back to you,” said the guard figure.

“What? You even actually cheated my friends by buying the statue, at a cheap price. At least give back the statue, if you want your money then I will give you.” Gudov took money from his pocket which amounted to even more than six hundred Crowns, the price given by the shopkeeper.

“Sorry son, I told you that we won't sell it again.” However, the shopkeeper rejected the money from Gudov and flatly said that they would not sell it.

“Now come out if you have no other business,” said the shopkeeper, then drove out Gudov and Tseydle.

Unable to do anything about it, the two teenagers walked out of the store without bringing back the statue.

“Gudov how is this?” Ask Tseydle.

“Forget it... Since you already sold it, we can't do anything more..” Gudov said and left his friend.

Time passed, in the evening at the store where the previous antiques, the shop owner was in a room, seen, where the gold statue he bought from Tseydle is now on a table.

When the owner went out for a moment, the golden statue suddenly shook by itself until it fell to the floor.

The store owner was surprised and confused because he believed the statue was on the table and was lying on the floor.

Not wanting to be too curious for too long, the man then picked up the statue and put it back on the table.

He then paid a little attention to the statue. Whether it might be his imagination or not, the two eyes of the statue suddenly emitted a red glow.

Feeling surprised the eyes of the man then glared at the light emanating from the two eyes of the golden statue.

“Akh..” Instantly a black smoke cloud came out of the golden statue and entered the man's body through his eyes, nostrils and mouth.

Before long, the man who owned the store regained his senses with his eyes now turning red.

He stood up again with a flat expression, then left the room.

After coming from the previous room, the man approached the shopkeeper who was his employee.

“You haven't come home sir?” Ask the shopkeeper.

However, the man did not answer his question, leaving the shopkeeper confused and then looking at the man.

The shopkeeper was surprised to see that the two men's eyes were now red and looked very horrible.

“Pak, why you?” Asked the shopkeeper, a little frightened at the sharp gaze from the man.

“Uakh..!” Without a second thought, the man attacked his employees helplessly.

Elsewhere, Yermo who was in the holy place was suddenly shocked to feel a considerable pressure of strength.

Quickly the man stood up from his seat and left the room he occupied.

Moments later, Yermo arrives at the antique store, where the items inside have been scattered and find the shopkeeper has died due to being attacked by his own superiors.

While approaching the helpless shopkeeper, the man closed his eyes and then prayed for him a little.

Yermo stood up again, left the shopkeeper and entered a room, where a golden statue was the source of the problem.

He took the statue and read out a sentence that was difficult to understand making the golden statue momentarily emit a red light in both eyes.

When Yermo finished, he put the gold statue in his pocket and left the shop.

Yermo who was a Venerate used his power to detect the man possessed power that came from the previous golden statue.

After sensing a force of pressure, Yermo swiftly slid following the source.

He reached the middle of a dark and silent forest while again detecting the pressure of the force that was likely the man who owned the antique shop.

Suddenly the man of the store owner appeared and immediately attacked Yermo, but with a swift man immediately launched a kick first until the owner of the store crashed into a distance.

Yermo leisurely waited for the man to stand again for the next attack, but this did not happen because the man who owned the shop immediately ran away.

This immediately made Yermo swiftly slide to chase the man who was possessed.

However, after sliding further into the forest Yermo instantly lost track of the man.

He reactivated his powers of observation, but somehow the pressure of the force and the presence of the man could no longer be detected by him.
