Chapter 23. Black Star Demon Sect Leader, Behemoth!

Angry, furious, and wrathful, all of it has become ingrained in Lucifer. He drifts further in disbelief after learning Venom, his best warrior has been easily defeated by Rei.

"Curf! I've been keeping a loser!" Lucifer throws all his frustration.

Venom has been known to be strong and intelligent in his tactics in conquering the various kingdoms of man who refused to submit and obey Lucifer. However, her defeat in fighting Rei was as good as trampling on the demon's pride.

Lucifer doesn't want to bother either. He immediately thought of how to keep the kingdoms in his shade from betraying after learning of the disappearance of the existence of Venom, the demon schemer.

"It looks like you're in trouble, Lucy!"

Lucifer grew increasingly furious at the mention. He then gritted his teeth while watching the appearance of a demonic figure wearing a black robe with a black star mark on his forehead. The demon set foot slowly towards the throne of Lucifer.

"Behemoths! Haven't you admitted your defeat after fighting me?" Lucifer stared intently at the Behemoth.

"Losing? In my dictionary, there's just a word of surrender, Lucy!" Behemoth continuously intimidated Lucifer who had been provoked by his emotions.

"Stop calling me that or.., I'll chop up all the organs in this body," Lucifer brought his body closer to Behemoth's body as he felt the demon's body.

"Hey, hey! The taste of the organs that have succumbed to you is very unpleasant! I'm curious about the sense of the organ that resides in your body, Lu.ci.fer!" The Behemoth retaliated against Lucifer's threat while stroking the demon's chest.

The Behemoth was one of the eight strongest demon candidates that would become the receptacle of the next Demon King's ancestral awakening. The demeaning attitude of other demons had become an everyday meal for him.

He is known to have a string of brotherhood with Lucifer. They were one of the sons of the Azores, the Demon Ancestors who ruled the western part of the Demon Kingdom. It is said that the Azores were a pioneer who had united all the people and demon warriors in their days of war against the Gods.

Azores later married the son of his comrade-in-arms. She was blessed with four children, including Rizores, Negus, Behemoth, and the youngest, Lucifer. Only Behemoth and Lucifer remained after their father and two brothers were killed in battle.

As a child, Behemoth fought with Lucifer. However, he also relented when fighting over something from his sister. Until the final seconds of the Azores' death, the pioneer entrusted the remnants of the struggle and the full legacy to Lucifer. This made Behemoth disappointed. He then decided to travel to deepen his own magic.

The Azores knew that his youngest son had a gift that had been given by the demon lord's ancestor before. Therefore, his attention to Lucifer outweighed his concern for the Behemoth. However, he had also anticipated that someday, the two brothers would fight each other. Therefore, the Azores gave all of their power to Lucifer to counter the resistance of the Behemoths.

"If the old man had not given you his powers for free, I would have finished you off!" ketus Behemoth after seeing the arrogance of his sister.

"Well! Admit your defeat! Kneeling on me is the right way to admit it!" Lucifer doesn't want to lose a mouth fight with his brother.

The friction between the two brothers was getting longer. Until a while later, Lucifer had an idea to maintain his existence. He then consulted with Behemoth who had prepared to draw his sword because it was already consumed by emotions.

"Wait first! I'll give you some profit" Lucifer's trying to stop the Behemoth movement.

Hearing the persuasion, Behemoth delayed his intention to finish Lucifer. He sheathed back his sword as he sighed slowly.

"If you will give all your strength, then I will comply with your request!" behemoth said while fixing the collar of his robe.

"No! not completely given, but this will be very profitable for you," Lucifer then sat down on his throne and explained his scheming to Behemoth.

"Haha! Such a lowly task would be completed in one blink for me!" ketus Behemoth while fading its existence.

He then rushed to remove his existence from the face of Lucifer. Behemoth had suspected that his sister had suffered such a great humiliation that he willingly hung his fate on the demon.

The beautiful morning atmosphere accompanied by the melodious chirping of birds made Rei step foot into the courtyard of the mansion. He then decided to take a walk around the city to find out the existence of demons that would threaten the security of the city.

"Good morning sir" said Felicia, holding a bag of groceries.

"Yes, morning. What did you buy Felicia?" Rei stared intently at the pouch.

"I bought some necessities for the girls, sir," Felicia said as she held up her groceries.

Rei and Felicia were surprised after finding a commotion that occurred in the mansion.

"No way!!!" rebecca cheered with the sound of fragments of some furniture from inside the house.

"Rey!! If you want to get out, take Rebecca with you!" Jessica cheered from the top of the porch of the mansion.

"Sister!!! i'm coming!!!" Rebecca walked out of the big door and then ran towards Rei excitedly.

Jessica also felt anxious about her sister's behavior. He also approached Rebecca and found the girl hiding behind Rei's body. Tired of the behavior of the super naughty child, Jessica pleaded with the man.

"Rei, I'm sorry, but please take this brat with you" Jessica said, hoping.

"Wlee~ I don't like Jessica!" Rebecca stuck out her tongue instead of insinuating her brother.

Jessica was increasingly unable to hold back her anger after being insinuated by Rebecca. He then pinched the cheek of the little girl while venting his regret. Jessica is very understanding of Rebecca's true nature which always makes her overwhelmed in taking care of her biological sister.

"Yahoo!!" Rebecca immediately cried after getting an unpleasant treatment from her brother.

"Already, already .... come on, let's go Rebecca," Rei hurried to take the little girl away while calming her down.

Rei and Rebecca pass by leaving Jessica filled with guilt for her actions towards her sister. She hoped Rebecca wouldn't put her hate on him after coming home from her trip with Rei.

Meanwhile, Rei just flinch without giving any reaction after witnessing the actions of the two sisters. The most important thing for him is to protect their safety and keep trying to keep the smiles of the two people who are very meaningful in his life.
