Chapter 28. Loved Two Daughters of the King
After Rei entered the magnificent palace door, all eyes looked in admiration at his arrival. The nobles who attended the welcoming event immediately approached Rei to express their deep gratitude.
"Master Hero, I'll give you everything! Ask me something!" exclaimed one of the nobles to Rei who continued walking through the crowd.
"Everything! Don't block Mr Rei's path! We will celebrate his arrival after meeting with the King first!" captain Edward cheered as he drove away the crowd blocking Rei's path.
Rei also made it through the crowded crowd of nobles. He was then led by Captain Edward according to the King's personal space. Confidently, Rei entered the room after finding the Captain opening the door instead of allowing himself to meet King Reinhard II.
"Welcome, O my Hero," said the King, welcoming Rei.
"I fulfill your call, O King," said Rei, bowing his body.
King Reinhard II then invited Rei to sit down to have a very important conversation between the two. They are also very enthusiastic in responding to various problems that occur in the city of Raven. Until the time came for the man to ask the King who invited him to come to the palace.
"So, what's the point of me coming here?" asked Rei with great seriousness.
"Based on the words of the royal psychic, we decided to invite you here" the King explained.
"Then, what did the psychics say?" asked Rei who was still not convinced by the King's statement.
Rei, who was waiting for a reply from the King, was surprised by the presence of an old grandfather resting on a stick. He then approached Rei while saying something.
"O God! O Gods!! Thank you for bringing a hero to this city!" the granddad's cheers before Rei.
"Mr Rei, he is a deity of our elders," King Reinhard II said, introducing the grandfather.
"Oh young man, our hero. I have watched your fight against those two demons with my martial magic. Then.., thanks to your grace, we get a chance to enjoy our lives again," The psychic grandfather explained at length what he had seen with the magic of the light.
The psychic immediately hugged Rei tightly while venting his gratitude. He was overjoyed by the presence of a hero like Rei who had sacrificed everything to save the lives of the entire city of Raven.
"Reinhard.., don't let this young man live alone! Give him a place to live and a decent treasure as an expression of our gratitude. If necessary, give him a royal post and marry this young man to one of your daughters. Even what you need to know.., all of that won't be enough to repay her kindness!" the old grandfather told the King.
"All right! But, if there is anything else you want to ask me, then I will gladly make it happen" said the King.
Rei was unable to say anything after hearing the words of the two people. He was eager to reject the offer and quickly left the palace. However, after thinking hard about the situation he was in now, especially with the increasing number of people he had to protect, the man decided to receive a gift from the King.
"I will only receive a two-story house and some money enough to support seven people. Besides, I refuse!" resolutely Rei instead of responding to the King's offer.
"Mr Rei .. Other than being a king, I am also a father. It is my duty to make my two daughters happy. If you're willing, would you choose one of them and marry him?" King Reinhard II sends his request to Rei.
The king reluctantly accepted the firm statement from the man. He then invited Rei to a dinner with the rest of the royal family. The king also brought his two daughters to the banquet.
"Mr Rei, please sit down," said a royal servant girl as she prepared a seat that Rei would occupy.
Rei was with the King calmly waiting for the arrival of the other royal members. He then found some waiters who brought him a lot of food while putting it on the table.

Annabelle and Charlotte were busy putting on their beautiful makeup as possible in order to grab the attention of Rei. The two girls have learned that the man invited by his father is a hero who has saved the entire town.
Confidently, they rushed towards the royal banquet hall. The presence of the man had made a stiff competition between the two girls. They vied in showing elegance and beauty and self-worth to meet the King's expectations.
Annabelle and Charlotte have arrived behind the door of the banquet hall. They could not help but feel nervous about opening the big door. However, making a hero wait too long was not a tradition for them. The two girls immediately opened the door and introduced themselves.
"Mr Hero, I'm Charlotte Van Reinhard, the second daughter of King Reinhard II" Charlotte said, bowing and introducing herself.
"Hand Master whom I respect, I am Annabelle Van Reinhard, the youngest daughter of King Reinhard II," Annabelle also introduced herself as she bowed.
They were also unable to look at the man's face as they stepped foot into their seats. The two girls kept their faces down instead of being haunted by the nervousness that had spread all over.
"Hero Master, let me pour you some water," Charlotte immediately stood up from her seat and hurried around the table, bringing her a royal cup.
He then poured the wine-scented water into a Rei glass that was not filled at all. Getting quick action from Charlotte, Annabelle doesn't want to lose to her. He then took an apron from the waiter and rushed to Rei.
"Master Hero, let me attach an apron to your body," Annabelle then pointed the cloth at Rei's body and tied it gently.
Rei was surprised when he turned to the side and found the two girls standing next to him while looking at his face in amazement. That left him with a thousand languages. The king then called the two girls to immediately move to their seats.
"Charlotte, Annabelle, please take care of your attitude before Mr. Rei." the King rebuked his two daughters.
After the actions taken by the two girls, Rei was surprised by the arrival of a man he had met. Apparently, that person was Phillip, an adventurer who was known to have experienced various threats from the town bandits. He immediately introduced himself.
"Mr Rei, the hero I respect.., I am Phillip Van Reinhard, the eldest son of King Reinhard II, apologizing for covering up my true identity," phillip said, introducing himself.
Rei only fell silent after hearing the confession. Because, he had felt the strangeness hidden behind the figure of the man. After probing deeper, Rei then learned of his disguise. Phillip was the eldest son of King Reinhard II. And that was the only reason why Rei was trying to protect phillip from the interference of the bandits some time ago.
