Chapters 27. The Tribulation of Two Succubus Girls

At the end of the afternoon, it was seen from a distance that the royal troops were in a hurry to travel. Rei and Rebecca and the Rodney brothers were walking across a bridge over the Myrias River.

"Captain Edward! Isn't that the guy?" an aide asked Captain Edward as he pointed his index finger toward Rei.

"Let me investigate! Hmm..., its characteristics match the person we are looking for! Everybody!!! Let's hurry!" captain Edward exclaimed to his entire army after glaring from a distance.

They then rushed to Rei after finding the man in accordance with the characteristics of the people sought by the government. There was a look of spirit among the troops while driving the speed of horses that continued to run in unison.

A moment later, the Captain immediately stopped the pace of his horse after arriving before Rei and his comrades. He immediately removed his armor helmet as he walked slowly toward the man. Anxious Rebecca hugged Rei, traumatized by the presence of the troops.

"Sister..., I'm afraid..., do they want to kidnap you again?" asked Rebecca with an anxious look.

"Don't worry Rebecca, I'll make sure we'll be fine" Rei stroked the little girl's hair and tried to calm her down.

Rei instantly clenched a side of his hand tightly after discovering that the captain was getting closer to him. But what happened was beyond suspicion. Captain Edward bent his body while resting on one knee like a Knight before his King.

"Master Hero, I have been sent by the King to invite you to the royal palace. If it's pleasing, we'll take you now" said Captain Edward.

Rodney and his three sisters were shocked after hearing Captain Edward's statement. They put on a face full of excitement over the royal side's appreciation for Rei's heroic act instead of hoping the man would benefit a lot.

"I refuse for now," Rei said with keen eyes.

"alright. Let me know your reason, "Captain Edward tried to persuade Rei to accept his offer.

"If you are pleased, I will take them to my house first" Rei said, explaining.

"Dam!!! Prepare the horse carriage and bring it here immediately!" captain Edward's cheers to his aide.

"Good, Captain!" Zach then rushed to the royal palace to fulfill Captain Edward's request.

"Mr Hero, leave the task of delivering your relatives to us.., for the sake of my life that you have saved, I promise to take care of them as best as possible," said Captain Edward in a polite tone.

"Alright, I accept your offer." Rei tried to put his trust in the man.

He immediately looked at Captain Edward's mind and found that the captain was really telling the truth. Rei had prepared everything if the news of rumors about him had spread throughout the city of Raven. And now, the invitation from the Kingdom is one of the proofs of the spread of the news.

"Mr Hero, I'm representing the royal party to thank you for your actions that saved the lives of all the citizens of the city" said Captain Edward who still maintains his knightly bow.

"Where do you know if I really saved the city? Is there any evidence?" asked Rei who was in disbelief with Captain Edward's statement.

"Let the King explain everything after you get there, this is his message" Captain Edward tried to convince Rei to get answers to all his questions from the King.

A moment later, a group of troops arrived while carrying some special Royal horse carriages that would be used to take Rebecca and the Rodney brothers to the mansion.

"Rebecca, I trust that uncle. If you believe me, then come with her" Rei whispered to Rebecca to reassure the little girl.

"Well, but you have to promise to come home soon!" rebecca said with a serious look.

Rei convinces Rebecca to be escorted by Captain Edward to the mansion. He then waved his hand after finding the little girl also waving her hand to Rei before entering the horse carriage.

"Rei, are you sure?" Zeta questions Rei's certainty about the Kingdom's forces.

"Rei.., make sure you bring us lots of gifts!" rodney said, patting the man on the shoulder and rushing towards the horse-drawn carriage.

"Rei, I hope you can spell my name even better!!! Hmm!!!" Silvia turned her face instead of frowning as she rushed towards the horse carriage.

"R-Rei..., a-a-I will be faithfully waiting for you!!!" Iris blushed in embarrassment as she said her farewell to Rei and rushed hurriedly towards the horse carriage.

"Rei, I will always pray for you.Go back safely." said Zeta as she left Rei with Captain Edward and rushed into the carriage.

Rei also witnessed the departure of people who loved him very much. He hoped that his premonition would never go wrong about Captain Edward's honesty. The man immediately sighed while looking up at the sky.

O God, whatever will happen, if it threatens the safety of my closest people, then allow me to obliterate this city, Inner Rei.

"Mr Pahlaw—"

"Call me Rei!" Rei interrupted Captain Edward's words instead of reprimanding him.

"Mr Rei, I have prepared a horse for you.., Zach!!" Captain Edward called out to Zach to bring a stout white horse with his leg muscles to Rei.

"Good, Captain!" Zach leads the white horse to Rei.

Rei was immediately amazed when he saw the beauty of the white horse. He also without further ado rode it while waiting for the aba - the aba of Captain Edward who was preparing to start the journey. Until when the Captain's command cheers echoed, the troops rushed to the royal palace followed by Rei.

Lucifer is increasingly clueless about Behemoth's plan to suddenly kill religious leaders without his knowledge. Behind the gripping atmosphere of the ruins, he continuously flipped his footsteps while thinking about what to do.

"Rinner!!! Panthea!!! come here!!!" exclaim Lucifer with a loud tone.

"K-k-we fulfill your call, Y-y-Your Majesty, " said Renner in a stammer.

The two succubus girls immediately showed their existence as fast as lightning after receiving a call from Lucifer. Renner and Panthea are one of Lucifer's six bodyguards. Only the two of them were the only succubus-shaped demons.

Renner and Panthea are assigned to come down to earth by Lucifer to wipe out the lives of men who have been seduced by their beauty. All this is done in order to present a special sacrifice for the Devil instead of increasing his power.

"Cursed you!!! What good is that beautiful face and sexy body if it is not able to offer more lives for me!!! You have neglected to do your duty as a succubus!!!" Lucifer became enraged after discovering the presence of the two girls.

"M-m-forgive us Your Majesty..," Panthea lowered her face instead of pleading.

Lucifer instantly pulls Phantea's neck with his magnetic magic. He then strangled the demon girl firmly after finding her neck was in his grasp.

"Speaking an apology is not the true nature of the devil...! You should know that!" firmly Lucifer who increasingly tightened his hand grip on the neck of Panthea.

"B-ba.ik, the M-mu.li.a," said Panthea stammeringly.

Panthea almost died in vain because of the cruel treatment of the devil. He then crawled towards Renner while enduring a painful tightness. The two girls always felt misery during their service to Lucifer. Receiving torment and being the Devil's moons has become their daily routine.
