Bella's Confession

"We lost our son, Ge! It's all because of me, I'm sorry!" EL said in his tears.

"You mean?"

I don't understand what EL said back then.

"You're miscarried, Ge! We lost our son, our son!" exclaim EL while sobbing.

Honestly, I'm very sad. But I am sure that my baby does not want to be present in the midst of the disaster that is sweeping our lives.

I wiped away the tears that ran down my cheeks. Then I looked back at the EL who was still sobbing beside me.

"Are you willing to tell me everything, EL? I hope there are no more lies! I've seen it with my own eyes, so don't ever try to go back to lying to me!"

I have prepared my heart and mind to know everything. I'm ready to listen to any confession, even if it hurts.

EL lifted his face that was down next to me. EL looked at me with a sad look,

I was very surprised to hear his confession. My heart really hurts. So the woman was his first wife. People who have always been met by EL.

Just then, the woman I saw hugging my husband's body came into my room with Alessandro.

That woman is beautiful. Very pretty! It is fitting that EL cannot forget his figure. He looked at me with a sad look. I also kept returning his gaze.

Alessandro takes EL out. And now it's me and that woman in my room. He approached my bed with a warm smile.

I can't return her smile. I still hurt him and EL.

"Ge, my name is Bella."

The woman extended her hand to me. But I had no intention of welcoming him.

I think Bella's telling the truth. Maybe if I were in his position, I would do the same. But the problem is, why is EL hiding this from me? He should have told me the truth!

I took a long breath. Actually I can't believe what he said a hundred percent.

"If EL doesn't love you, then why do you..."

I cannot continue my words. I'm reminded of the lipstick stains and the woman's scent that was attached to the EL shirt a long time ago. I'm sure they did that already.

Bella seemed confused but after a while, she smiled back at me.

"I'm sure you're talking about that lipstick stain, aren't you? EL told me. Actually at that time, I fell unconscious after my son went back to bleeding heavily. EL lifted my body, maybe that's when the lipstick and perfume I was wearing was stuck on his shirt. Trust me, Ge! EL is still yours, only yours!"

Bella touched my hand and then smiled back at me. But I still couldn't return her smile. My lips are still heavy to smile with.

To be honest I was a little relieved after hearing the explanation. I don't know for sure if he was telling the truth or just lying to me.

"And I also want to apologize to you, if in the last few weeks EL always comes home at night. It's all because EL has to put my son to bed first. He doesn't want EL to come home before he goes to bed." continued Bella,

I kept looking at him, I wanted to find a lie in his eyes. But he seems to be telling the truth.

"I want to visit your children." I said.

"Of course, Ge! You can visit him. She must be happy to meet you. Take Fariz and Farissa too, she really likes kids."

Bella was so enthusiastic about saying that to me. Her smile even continued to float on her beautiful face.

After that Bella told me a lot about her life after leaving EL. Actually I salute him. She's a tough woman, she can survive and raise her son without an EL figure.

Not long after, EL and Alessandro returned to my room. Both EL and Alessandro, they smiled at me. But my expression was still the same, I was still reluctant to return their smiles.
