A few days after Mr. Joseph's departure, Julian's situation became even more miserable. He just locked himself in the room while pensive.

I can't bear to see it. Every day I accompanied him, bringing him food and drinks. Now I feel like I'm taking care of a big boy.

"Julian, don't keep going like this. I'm sure Daddy won't calm down if he sees you like this..."

Julian turned towards me with his gloomy face but only for a moment, then he looked back again out the window of his room with a blank look.

My heart felt pinched when Julian said that. "Now live for me, Julian. I still need you. You are my husband and I am your wife, would you let me be a widow at such a short marriage?!" I said as I stroked her shoulders gently, though,

Julian turned back to me but this time with a faint smile.

"Are you willing to accept this disgusting me, Farissa?" julian asked while looking at me,

For a moment I was silent while looking at his face. Then I threw a warm smile at her while stroking her smooth face.

"Don't say that, Julian. I will accept you but try to change. Like you promised Daddy."

Julian bowed lethargic, then back sobbing.

"You know, Farissa! This strange life of mine happened because of my deep disappointment with a woman. From then on I decided to be like this." Julian said, wiping away his tears.

I frowned, I didn't understand what Julian was saying. "You mean?"

"Yes! I used to be a normal guy. I have a lover, he promised to be faithful waiting for me when I was still pursuing a career abroad. But after I came back, I was upset when I found out the woman was married. And worse, he married my own brother, August."

I was surprised that even my eyes were perfectly rounded when I heard Julian speak.

"So August's wife used to be your lover?!"

Julian nodded slowly while throwing his gaze out the window. "Yes, since then I don't believe in women anymore. What looks innocent and innocent like him turns out to be able to make me disappointed, let alone others."

"Don't all women are like that!" my protest was upset and hit him on the shoulder slowly, because he thought all women were the same.

Julian chuckled softly, although his face still looked gloomy.

Julian shook his head, "August doesn't know and I don't want to ruin his relationship. Let them be happy, maybe it's my destiny to be like this."

"Then, are you happy with your life like this?!" I said seriously while watching his expression,

Julian shook his head and his gaze was still blank.

"Then change for me, Julian. I promise I won't let you down. I will be a good wife to you and always accompany you. As long as you want to change." ask me,

I grabbed her hand and then held her tightly. Julian turned to me and noticed my hand that was still tightly grasping his hand.

"Help me, Farissa!" his words are soft,

I threw my warm smile back at him, "Of course! We fought together, Julian."

Julian returned my smile, then pulled out his hand that I still held. I was silent when he pulled his hand back. Maybe at the moment Julian still can't accept my presence, but I won't just give up. I will fight as Lord Joseph last wishes.

After chatting with Julian in his room, I decided to go back to the store. It's been a few days since Mr. Joseph's departure, I've never been to my pastry shop.

"You're okay, am I living alone?" I asked Julian, who was reluctant to leave his room.

Julian nodded while smiling at me, "It's okay. Go.." Julian said.

I walked up to Julian and then dared myself to give a warm kiss on his right cheek. Julian was stunned even until I left him.

Before I closed the door, I saw Julian touch his cheek that I had kissed. I don't know what he was thinking at the time. But hopefully, he realized that there was still me expecting him.

I drove my car to my cake shop. Just like before, I still like to drive my car while listening to my favorite music. For a moment, I could forget about the problem that was happening to me.

Upon arrival at the Shop yard, I was already greeted by my employees. They smiled warmly when they saw me enter this room. It's been a few days I haven't handled this store and luckily I have an employee as well as a best friend that I can count on to take care of my cake shop for a while.

Once I was there, I immediately helped my employees. While I was serving some visitors, suddenly my eyes were on one of the visitors at the Om Fikri Cafe, which was directly opposite the cake shop.

I stopped my work then stepped towards the front of the Shop. I want to look at that person more closely. And it turns out to be true, that person is Leo. He was dating a beautiful woman while enjoying the food and drinks available on their table.

Honestly, I was curious. Actually what kind of man Leo is, didn't he and Julian have a relationship. What does this have to do with that beautiful woman? I think their relationship is more than just friends or relatives. Several times I saw Leo put a kiss on the back of the woman's hand with a warm smile.

I walked over and approached the cafe. Then, unbeknownst to him, I sat close to Leo's seat. Whatever he was talking about with that woman, I could hear her very clearly from my seat.

"Leos... So when did you propose to me?! It's impossible right, forever you have to accompany that Julian?!" whining the Woman.

"Just calm down, honey! I'll marry you soon but after my business with Julian is over." Leo said,

"But when?! Don't be long, yeah." said the woman again,

"I also do not want to linger with these creatures. I just want to get rid of the treasure, after all we will enjoy it too?!" sahut Leo, sir,

Holy hooch! I'm so upset to hear that. I didn't expect Leo to just exploit Julian's weakness.
