The quiet and dark atmosphere made Ali feel tense. He tried not to make any sound as he stepped towards the living room. His heart was pounding as he tried to imagine what might be waiting for him there.
When Ali finally turned on the lights, she was surprised to see Angel, already sitting on the sofa with a mixed expression of worry and anger on her face. There was a big frown that described Angel as not okay.
"Hi, Ali," said Angel in a soft, forced voice. "I'm worried about you. Why did you come home so late? I could barely sleep because of worry. You're not cheating behind my back, are you?"
Ali felt a warmth in her heart when she saw the obvious concern from Angel. He realized that he had to explain his circumstances to Angel.
"I'm sorry, Angel," Ali said as she approached Angel. "There was an unexpected incident at the office that left me stuck and late to go home. I didn't want to wake you and mom, so I was sneaking around" He lied, so Angel wouldn't worry.
"You're not having an affair behind my back, are you?" Angel says in the word cheating.
Ali managed to read the situation, it turned out that. "How can I cheat if no one surpasses my wife." He smiled, started to approach Angel.
Angel's face reflected mixed feelings of relief from hearing Ali's explanation but also lingering concerns. He held onto Ali's hand gently, trying to express his anxiety.
"I understand that there are things we can't control, but I'm still worried, Ali" Angel said in a soft voice. "You know how important you are to me. Please let me know if you'll be home late again!"
Ali feels touched by the attention and love Angel shows her. He regretted that he could not tell her the real situation.
"I'm sorry, Angel" Ali said sincerely. "I understand that I need to communicate more with you. I didn't mean to worry you. I promise I'll let you know if I'm gonna be home late again."
Angel smiled gently, yet there was still a visible tension in her eyes. The two of them sat together on the sofa, embracing each other and pouring out their feelings.
"You are a precious person to me, Ali," Angel said in a soft voice. "We are a team, and communication is key in our team. I want us to support each other and take care of each other."
Ali felt an incredible sense of warmth and relief when she heard Angel's words. He knew that the two of them had to understand each other and strive for better in the future.
"I'm very lucky to have you as my wife" Ali said in a loving voice. "I promise to be better, for us and for our families."
"Ehem..." The sound of Ali's father-in-law surprised them. "How's your little job?"
"Good, mom." Ali replied briefly.
"okay? On the first day of work, I came home late. You must be causing trouble!" Nirmala was suspicious.
"No, ma. Easy job. Where could I cause trouble."
"Huft, stop. Nor do I expect much from your work..." He sips the tea he holds, leaving Ali and Angel behind. “You will also be fired soon for not being becus.” Nirmala Mumbles.
"You're not in trouble, are you?" Ask Angel, investigate.
"No, Angel. Although there was a little problem too. But is it natural that at work there is a problem?" Ali started making up stories.
"Hmmm."
Their conversation closes with Ali telling Angel to be home late. So he doesn't have to worry, or worry.
Ali woke up on a slightly cloudy morning. Sunlight remained, even though thin clouds enveloped the sky. However, he felt a little uninspired. His mind was filled with Neli's condition, and how to find those dealers.
Angel entered the room with a warm cup of coffee in her hand. He looked at Ali with concern and understood that something was troubling his mind.
"Good morning, baby," Angel said in a soft voice. "What's on your mind?"
Ali looked at Angel with a slightly worried expression. "Today I started my new job, and I felt a bit uninspired. I'm not sure if I can handle it well." He said as supernatural as possible, so that Angel did not suspect and get involved.
Angel approached and sat down beside Ali, providing warmth and support. He put his coffee cup on the bedside table.
"I understand that a new job can lead to feelings of anxiety and uncertainty" Angel said gently. "But believe in yourself, Ali. You have the ability. I'm sure you'll conquer this challenge well."
"I'm not sure Angel, it's so hard."
"If it's hard, why not start by asking the experts? The seniors maybe?" Answer Angel.
Ali's eyes seemed to see a glimmer of hope, both shining again.
Ali smiled gently, feeling the support shown by Angel. He felt calmer and empowered by those words.
"Thank you, Angel," Ali said gratefully. "I'm very lucky to have you as my wife. I will try my best and try to face this job bravely."
Angel grabbed Ali's hand gently. "Remember that I've always been here for you. If there's anything I can do to help or support you, let me know. We're a team, and we'll face it together."
Ali smiles, feeling inspired by Angel's words and love. He knew that even though this quest would be difficult, perhaps very dangerous, he still had the strong dual support of his dearest person.
"Let's start today with a positive mind" Angel said. "You'll try your best and see how things go. I'm sure everything's gonna be okay."
Ali smiled, his spirit filled. He immediately kissed Angel's cheek, and jumped into the bathroom.
On the way Ali immediately called Heru's doctor.
"Hello," said Heru in a calm voice.
"Hello, Dr. Heru, this is Ali" said Ali with a bit of tension. "I want to get an update on Neli's condition. How's development?"
Heru gave a caring voice. "Hello, Ali. Neli's condition is still stable at this time. We continue to provide the necessary care to aid his recovery. No need to worry, I will try my best.”
“I believe it's Doctor Heru. May I ask one thing to the doctor?”
“What is Ali? Say.”
“What kind of drugs does my sister use?”
A little doubt but he does not want anything covered, “obat z. This is the most dangerous and often leads to overdoses. Sorry in advance for not telling you.”
“Thank you, doctor,” Ali try to calm down. But his hand was clasped as hard as he could. Emotion can be felt by the people around him.
