Unemployed Son-in-law's Rights: The Book of the Dragon Killer
Diego School

On a clear morning, Ali was getting ready to go see his cousin Diego. They rarely meet because Diego lives far away from Ali's residence. Ali was happy to see him. If it was just another cousin, maybe he was reluctant to leave. But Diego's father was a good man, although he could not help Ali get a job, but he always treated Ali like his own son.

Ali arrives at Diego's house and is immediately greeted by his uncle Angel. The two of them greeted each other kindly and Ali always felt warmly welcome in the house.

"Hello Uncle, how are you? It's nice to meet you" Ali said with a smile.

"Look Ali, come in. Please come in" replied Uncle Angel enthusiastically.

Ali walked into a comfortable house and sat in the living room with her Uncle Angel. They talked for a moment about Ali's life and work.

"Ali, are you working now?" ask Uncle Angel attentively.

Ali replied proudly, "it can be said that way."

"Thank God, whatever the job, just be grateful. What matters is working. Uncle used to be like that, but not as long as you are either." He laughed, and Ali laughed. "Where do you work?"

"At the Sohoo Hotel."

Uncle Angel was a little shaken by the news. "It's good, Ali. I'm so proud of you. Good luck in your work. Whatever the job, it's gonna be good there."

After a brief pleasantry, Ali impatiently asked Uncle Angel for Diego's news. However, he saw a doubt on Uncle Angel's face, as if something was uproar.

"Uncle, how's Diego doing? I want to meet him" asked Ali expectantly.

Uncle Angel sighed for a moment before replying, "Forget that kid. I don't want to talk about it!"

"Uncle... I actually came here because I heard from Angel last night. Don't worry, I'll try my best to persuade her."

Uncle Angel nodded slowly. "Yes, Ali. It seems like there was a problem at school that made Diego lose his interest. We've tried various ways to help her, but she's still stubborn, unwilling to tell us anything."

Ali was concerned to hear this. He knew that education was vital to Diego's future. He thought for a moment and then said, "Uncle, maybe I can try to talk about it with Diego. I will try to convince her of the importance of school and help her find a spirit of learning again. I promise."

Uncle Angel smiled sincerely. "Hopefully you can do it. Thank you, Ali. I really appreciate your help." He held onto Ali's shoulder, "oh, forgive me for being this old man, what are you going to drink?"

"Anything that doesn't bother Uncle." Reply Ali. "Can I go see him now?"

"Of course, he's in the room. If he doesn't open the door, break it! I'll make tea for you." Answer the Uncle.

Geck, tok, tok...

Ali knocked on Diego's room door gently, but there was no word from the inside. Once again he tapped, there was still no sound from within. He tried to open the door and it was unlocked. Carefully, Ali entered the room.

"Diego, get up" Ali said in a soft voice as she watched her cousin curl up under the covers. Diego blinked, showing his discomfort from being bullied. His face looked almost angry.

Ali was sad to see Diego like that, but he remained steadfast. He sat at the end of Diego's bed and tried to start a conversation.

"Diego, I know maybe you don't want to talk right now. But please listen to me for a moment" Ali said gently, exuding care and attention.

Diego looked at Ali with a doubtful expression. Then he crouched back into the blanket. "Go away, I still don't want school!" He finds it hard to express his feelings.

"I want to know what's going on, Diego. Is there anything that makes you difficult or uncomfortable? You know, you can trust me, right?" ali continued, trying to open the conversation room.

"Go!"

"Hey, mate. You're not like the Diego I know."

A little loose, "i'm not the Diego you know. He's dead!"

"Who am I talking to now? A ghost?"

Diego was still silent, but his expression softened slightly. Ali is not just a cousin to him.

"I'm just worried about your decision not to go to school. Education is important, Diego. I want you to have a bright and successful future."

"Are you not highly educated? Why not have a job? Wasn't you in school? Even you are much taller than my father!"

Ali was a little confused. "I can't answer that Diego. But I definitely have a job now. Perhaps soon our plan to fish on another continent will be realized."

"That's great news!" Diego opened the blanket with excitement. "You don't have to take me to another continent. Can I stay at your house? I can help Angel's sister over there. You must pay me!"

"Hey, it can't be like that. Didn't we plan this out long ago!" Ali pretended to negotiate. At least Ali's fishing technique wasn't bad.

Ali saw Diego biting his lips, as if struggling with his own thoughts. He felt a desire to speak, though Diego was still hesitant to open his heart.

"Is it that hard to go to school? The feeling, school used to be so easy."

"For you easy!"

"Do you want to share with me? I'm here to listen and definitely help you, otherwise I can't go home because Angel's sister forbade me to come home before you go to school. Are you the heart?" ali said with complete sincerity.

"Go, it's your business!" He's back curled up.

"Diego!" There was no reply, so Ali began to concentrate, hearing Diego's heartbeat. Everything seemed normal, so he turned to look at Diego's body. Everything looks translucent.

"Wakeup! Who did this to you?" Ali said firmly, he seems angry.

Ali heard Diego's heartbeat rise.

"You can't hide that from me, Diego, your body is scarred."

Diego finally lifted his body and looked directly at Ali. Though still in doubt, in a quiet voice, Diego began to open his heart and tell his story.

Ali listened attentively, trying to understand and provide the support Diego needed. The two of them sat beside the mattress, supporting each other in the face of the problems that Diego was facing.

"I could have solved this problem. It could even be done."

"Really!" Answer Diego's spirit.

"Yes, the thing is, if I solve it, you can't solve this problem forever." Said Ali, "wear your uniform! I'll help you a little."
