Zhaohan's troops rushed after Jihu's entourage who entered the Chang Chute forest. However, there are some who stop not continuing the pursuit because they know that in the forest there is a group of monstrous creatures predator of Humans. With lethargic steps, all the troops entered into the dark forest without any illumination. However, not far away they walked, heard the screams of someone asking for help.

"Bong!" the call of Jihu's entourage was faintly heard by Zhaohan's forces. The man grew even more excited upon hearing the shouts from them and told his troops to immediately chase after. "Come, chase! They are not far from our current position" Zhaohan said excitedly.

"But, Prince. Looks like they got into trouble," said one of the soldiers.

But Zhaohan did not care. He was even more excited to hear that Jihu's entourage was getting into trouble. That meant, Jihu and his entourage would be restrained for a few minutes before they could catch up to him. Zhaohan did not know that if he was in there, danger would accompany his army.

The state of the forest grew darker after they went deeper. There was not the slightest bit of light that penetrated the forest, so the troops had to walk more carefully.

While in the middle of the road, they again heard the cry of Jihu's entourage who shouted for help. But they don't know what's going on.

"They must have been eaten by Blood Devil Robbers" said several soldiers who knew the story of the Chang Chute region's inhabitants.

Although Zhaohan has been informed, but they are still told to continue the journey to pursue Jihu's entourage. What is on Zhaohan's mind right now is, chasing Xin'er so that she can't be with Zhaoling anymore. She didn't want her stepbrother to be back with Xin'er at all costs.

Forcibly, they stepped on their way to pursue Jihu's entourage in order to catch them. But, again and again the root tendrils of the surrounding trees ensnared them all so quickly without anyone knowing.

"Hold, baby!" he muttered when he saw Yoona's face that had turned blue due to the strong grip of the Blood Devil's hand.

Following her two shadow bodyguards, Zhaoling takes Yoona to a Goa far enough from the forest after they find a way out.

The blizzard fell even more heavily, leaving all the land completely buried.

After finding a place safe enough, the three men entered without hesitation to take shelter from this fierce blizzard. They immediately made fire from piles of dried leaves and twigs that they had collected in the area around Goa, before being completely covered with snow.

With the campfire, at least they can make their bodies slightly warm because of the very cold surrounding air.

"His body is very cold" said Zhaoling who still tightly clutched his wife's body and did not drop her goods for a moment. There was clearly anxiety on her face, when she felt Yoona's heart getting weaker. "Darling, wake up!" she continued to kiss Yoona's face and hands.

"Take him closer here, sir. Let it be warmer," Liu Wei said and immediately followed by Zhaoling.

The man rubbed Yoona's palms, feet, and face gently. "Xin 'er. Please, come back!" however, there was no reaction from his wife. "What do I have to do so you can come back to me?" he said with sadness.

A state of instant silence, when he saw Zhaoling shed tears because he did not feel Yoona's heartbeat again. "Don't go, Xin'er! Please," he said, hugging his wife's body tightly.

However, Yu Xuan suddenly said. "You can help him, sir!" Both Zhaoling and Liu Wei immediately turned their heads towards him. "Yes. You can save her, that is by ..."
