Rifal promised

Valen still can't believe it. If the patient she's going to be treating with Nathan is Adelia. The figure of the girl who had been in a coma for many years and had just regained consciousness a few days ago.

Adelia is the girl Rifal fell in love with during High School. Until now Valen does not know whether Rifal already knows or not if he is not the one who harmed Adelia, because Rifal has long not brought up about it.

Valen hopes that Rifal does not bring up the matter again, which makes it mentally impossible for Rifal to begin discussing the incident.

Valen had never greeted Adelia, as long as the girl woke up from such a long sleep.

Valen and Nathan are in Adelia's room. With Adelia lying in the gurney staring at the hospital ceiling.

Valen walked over to Adelia's gurney. This is a chance to say thank you to the girl.

"Adel."

Valen starts calling Adelia, making Adelia stare at Valen. A familiar face to see.

Adelia smiled as she recalled, if she was close to Valen, her underclassman during High School. The figure of a girl who both liked Hardcore during High School.

"Valen, right?" adelia asked to make sure again that this was Valen.

Valen nodded in agreement to Adelia's words which were very soft, because the state of the girl had not fully recovered.

"Can you hug?" valen asked Adelia.

Adelia immediately nodded her head in agreement with Valen's words with a smile on her face.

Valen immediately hugged Adelia's thin body making her shed her tears.

"Gue thanked and apologized for what happened ten years ago, Del." Valen said a sincere apology with tears to his eyes.

If you remember what happened ten years ago makes Valen sobbing. At that time, Adelia saved her life and put the girl's own life at risk.

She should have treated and cared for Adelia while the girl was in a coma, but her heart said something else.

Valen released his embrace from Adelia's thin body. "Gue is grateful you are okay," Adelia replied with a smile.

"Lo married Rifal since when?" adelia asked, leaving Valen speechless. Didn't Rifal tell Adelia this?

Valen was thinking, how did he answer Adelia's question. Did he answer honestly or not?

"Valent."

Valen glanced at Adelia, apparently the girl was waiting for her answer. "Honestly, I'm fine" said Adelia assuring Valen not to hesitate to answer questions from her.

"Since High School." Valen replied waiting for what Adelia's facial expression was like as she said from High School. But the face of the girl ?it remains the same as before, is it possible Adelia ???hiding it by not changing the look on his face?

Adelia smiled at Valen. "Rifal promised me. Even in bed, Rifal promised me." Adelia said like that with a smile floating on her face with happiness with her eyes staring at the ceiling of the hospital.

Of course Adelia's words made Valen frown deeply. What did the girl say? Rifal promised even while he was asleep.

"Although I slept well in my coma. But I can hear what Rifal told me. I heard clearly the words and promises of Rifal after I realized. I just can't open my eyes and make my voice. But, I heard clearly the promise that Rifal made." Adelia explained to Valen with her eyes focused on looking ahead without looking at Valen.

Adelia glanced at Valen who was silent listening to what he had just said. The girl's face looked gloomy.

"Includes the promise of my marriage after I wake up."

Valen's heart beat faster as Adelia spoke the words that had just come out of the girl's mouth. Rifal promised to marry her?

It felt like Valen's heart was rumbling, his chest was as tight as he wanted to shed his tears.

"My eyes are closed, but my hearing is not. He promised me marriage by holding my hand." Continuing while holding her hand made Adelia smile thinly.

Valen loosened his head so that his tears would not escape his eyes to listen to the statement given by Adelia. Even in the coma, Rifal promised Adelia.

"Valen, you're okay, right?" adelia asked even though she knew Valen was not okay, from the look on Valen's face.

Valen shook his head strongly while smiling at Adelia. "Gue is okay." His mouth may lie but not with his heart and his eyes that want to shed tears.

"Gue came out first, well," said Adelia because she couldn't help but rumble in her heart. She didn't want to cry in front of Adelia. He wanted to shed all his tears.

Adelia nodded small with Valen's words.

Again and again Valen's heart skipped a beat as it turned its body. Just now her heart was racing with what Adelia said and now her heart is racing again.

The rifal!

As she turned her body she saw Rifal standing tall not far from her place and also Adelia who was looking at him with a difficult gaze Valen articulated.

Did Rifal hear his whole conversation with Adelia? If it's true why would Valen have to think about it all? His heart could not lie if he thought about whether Rifal heard what he was talking about with Adelia earlier.

Valen's mouth trembled to see Rifal looking at him with a gaze he could hardly understand. His eyes with Rifal's eyes looked so red that his eyes wanted to let out his tears that he had been holding up during his conversation with Adelia.

He had just felt a moment of happiness with Rifal this morning by shaking the man's hand. However, everything collapses when Adelia says that while asleep Rifal promises her.

Even Nathan who saw Valen and Rifal looking at him made him feel a gripping aura with both husband and wife.

Valen immediately ran quickly to leave Adelia's room by passing Rifal and Nathan.

While Rifal still did not budge in his place seeing Valen's departure. Rifal could see the woman's eyes blushing as if she wanted to cry, indeed the reality was like that.

Rifal's eyes were now staring at Adelia who was lying on her feet, Adelia had been observing all of that. He deliberately told Valen everything because of the existence of Rifal so that Rifal does not forget his promise that easily!

Valen walked over the hospital corridor wanting to get to his room immediately. She could no longer hold back her tears as her tears simply fell as she left Adelia's room, what else makes Valen's heart sob when he turned his body to see Rifal who had been there since when.
