When Demon Child Become Human

When Demon Child Become Human
␑| Awkwardness

On the way home, the car somehow felt awkward. No one opens his voice, even a huffed face seems to adorn every friend of mine. I ended up just looking down and linking fingers.

Maybe this is .. because of my mistake. I'm such a fool, dragging them into trouble. As what is done is always wrong. I realize, on average, my own problems that start but also want to solve them.Tak want to run and lose, for umpteenth time.

So I tried to break the silence.

"Sorry," I said softly and softly at the sound of the heat trembling in the chest, "because of me, our mission ended in chaos."

It felt like all eyes were on me-either, I did not dare to raise my head and lowered my head, until Crist's voice broke the atmosphere. "No problem Red, I know you're rarely a team mission and have a little trouble dealing with the situation before."

Suddenly someone patted me on the shoulder, I was surprised and reflexively turned to someone who did so. Daniel, the serious face I don't understand. However, slowly, the expression softened in a faint smile.

"For example, if I were you, I would do the same. Sshhh, how do you explain ...."

Pause for a while, he tilted his head with a frown, like weighing something.

"I don't want my own friends to get hurt, so I'm going to offer myself up front and that doesn't mean I don't trust you guys. I understand that."

The typical ruckus sound was soaring, I spontaneously turned my head and saw Crist watching us all from the rearview mirror of the car inside the top. "But it would be nice .. someday in the future, we can go forward together; shoulder to shoulder. Isn't that more fun? Red, we also want to be by your side. Again, don't carry the burden alone."

"But, because of me. .. Our practice results have been in vain."

"There is nothing in vain from practicing," Crist gently replied, "because it can be an experience and a lesson for the future. Not only for this mission, but it applies to all sorts of fights. I'm sure you'll find yesterday's practice very useful. And when learning ... it would be natural to make mistakes, as long as you can introspect yourself."

Hearing it all, feels the heat triggers a clear clot lodged in the eye fertilizer. And I was half dead trying to hold back the tears that forced it to slide. For some reason, it feels a turmoil in the chest but the connotation is like .. happy?

Again do not know how to express it and understand what this feeling means. However, I tried to press with all my might until I felt my shoulders tremble.

Since I looked down again, I could see Cecil sitting at the side already looking at me deeply. "Your body is big, but your mind is like a child."

So said he, which immediately makes me feel lighter and can chuckle small. "... It seems so."

"Loh, eeeh? You take it for granted?!"

I stared at him lethargicly, not knowing why his eyes felt a little heavy. "It's true, isn't it?"

Ah, Cecil seemed much more panicked than before. "Eeeeh, no! I-I'm just kidding! Don't get into the heart, huh?"

Get into the heart? Wh why? I looked at her more confusedly, but nervousness did not fade from the little girl's face.

On the one hand, Daniel made things worse by chattering, "Hayoloh Ceciiiil."

Even neon pink eyes looked at meu. "I made a mistake there too, panicking first because what happened was not the same as the initial estimate. I acted slow because I didn't expect all sorts of things. I should have apologized too."

"Ahahaha, I'm no less bad either," Crist continued in the chat, "I've been scared first. I didn't help much, though. Well ... I had to face as well as eliminate the phobia of height and speed, it was a little annoying. Might have to consult with Miss Caterine again."

"Eh, I too! Just think where the fault lies Red the problem ... indeed, what is wrong so," Daniel chimed up, "but it turned out to be wrong. If you don't know Lux, maybe the way I think is still wrong. Yeah, we all learned a lot on the mission this time."

"You ...," I said stifled as if there was a ball stuck in the throat, producing a low sound full of shaky nan.

"But the mission together gini fun! We learn a lot, we can practice in the future so that we are more compact and know the fighting style of each. Let's be cool like them, don't you?!"

"Huh, the more allergic I am to the closer you continue!" sergeant Cecil against the words of Daniel who actually invited a big smile by his interlocutors.

"Don't that be Cil ... So-so, you like it?"

"Huh?! There's everywhere!" stalk the little girl by folding the front hand of the chest and turn the face away. At first glance, a red tinge was visible on the face.

For some reason, hearing their conversation makes the chest recess appear a comfortable point like its own warmth in the cold rain outside; indicating it is still in early August. Especially now that the typical laughter belonging to Crist mingled in the atmosphere, inviting the smile of everyone sitting in the vehicle.

I thought they were going to get away from me. I. .. who was really stupid and did not understand the basic way to behave and respond in general, ended up making a mess.

But they accepted me.

Like a originally gray sky streak, it gradually melted into a brilliant blue tinge across space. The clouds and flashes of thunder decorate the phenomenon and disappear in silence. The spatter is shaded, but the speck in the fertilizer is not. The clear water dripped from the shoots of leaves even on my naked eye, felt hanging on the eyelashes. With trembling hands also I closed my face tightly, hoping the turbulent taste in the chest to come along.

Trying to disguise isak.

I thought I'd be dumped; not cared about anymore; back on my own like the previous life. Make confusion and fear hit, mixed in the heart because it is as much as possible try not to do wrong; try to be ahead of protecting them. However, it ended up messy and I felt tangled.

Not knowing what else to do but they still .. accepted me; still laughing around me and taking me back to my feet.

When was I treated like this? Ah, never. Only now did I sink into a lot of comfort and warmth. I thought after losing him, my dear ones, life was over but---

"You guys, thank you .. thank you very much," I said softly as I wiped away the tears with my palm. Then immediately the burden on his back was shattered.

I'm really grateful for all this. Perhaps also, my immortality is not a curse to be with them.

"E-eeeh?! Loh, Red, how are you crying?! O-oi, Crist! Do something!"
