When Demon Child Become Human

When Demon Child Become Human
␑| Speculation

From the whole incident that Fate and I went through, it was finally able to pick up one thread of speculation. Everything is no coincidence.

At least this is what I understand now.

When the girl heard the whisper and called her name, I first saw her in the library balcony upstairs. Then when I asked him about the payment issue, he asked me what do you mean? which means Fate doesn't remember it and I'm sure there's another figure using the girl's body to talk to me.

Plus Lord Metatron was missing from his body and this happened probably two days after Vaughan's birthday, as whispers of taking home began to haunt him.

In that moment I chose to remain immortal; seeing his condition now could have been true Fate who became my eternal payment.

Because Fate's condition is getting worse and worse what's more the body temperature is lower than the first time we met, as if his figure would disappear if the wrong grip gripped like a white stub continues to fall behind a window that did not escape my sight. It is pure white but cold as the pace of life and destiny. When it gets a hold of too strong .. it is lost; overflows; melts; leaving an unforgettable trail.

Like snow.

But of the many humans on earth, why should the payment be Fate? Because we both come from different worlds? Why would his figure melt, not me? Then comes one crazy question dominating the head: should on every sheet of life sacrifice a loved one?

So it's all my heart's fault that it melts into warm feelings and begins to love someone wholeheartedly, like giving up all my breath of life to him? There must be a more reasonable answer, right?

At least this is what I believe now.

I exhaled a long breath and laid down on the sofa, also stuck my legs forward to release the tension. Therefore I saw Professor Kaidan staring at horror like seeing a ghost or not believing in my existence.

When did he stand there?

"Mr?"

"Red, is that you? Why are you here?"

"Of course, seeing Head Master Lucian, EVE said she'll be back in her room soon." What's again? Because the top floor of the Main Building only consists of the EVE room and the organization leader's work space, plus the waiting room I stopped by.

But he expressed disbelief. "Loh, did you forget yesterday that Lucian wanted to finish you off?"

Immediately I sat perfectly straight and pointed at him as if finding a precise conclusion. "That's it! I want him to finish me."

Look at my guardian teacher. "Red, you want to die?!"

"Well! why die?!" I was so surprised I jumped off the couch. "No! Anyway I'm immortal ... just want to test something, nothing more."

If you don't take care of this matter also don't want to be here, what else to see Head Master Lucian.

"So, what's the need to see me?"

Uh, Head Master Lucian?! Since when did he stand near Professor Kaidan? I didn't even hear his footsteps! Ah, there's something more important. Immediately I stood up from sitting and approached them-Lucian and Kaidan.

"It's about my immortality. I want to measure the body's regeneration ability, how fast it's recovering now."

"Hmm, then a big cut is enough for the test, right?" He also put his left hand in his pocket. "You were shot in the heart for only a few hours to recover. Small wounds should heal immediately."

Slowly, my mouth was wide open. "Haaa, yes? Why do I have so much trouble thinking about being finished?"

"Because an idiot would still be an idiot" he said, raising one of his eyebrows.

HA?!

However, Lucian instead raised both of his shoulders indifferently. "Stay an idiot."

This is!

This is why I don't like him, he's not stopping his sarcasm and blunt words! Better I hear a stabbing remark from Fate than-wait, instead of the same? Ah, obviously I didn't want to hear it from him; made my head boil and I started to smile wryly.

After a few seconds Head Master Lucian raised his right hand with his palm open. When he plucked a finger, a blade of light immediately appeared with a sharp eye facing the back that he held; as quickly as that too big sound in the air was felt sore on my right cheek.

The warm feeling flowed slowly and I grimaced a little, my hands were also a cheek-pinched reflex

"Red, don't pull! Wounded wound!"

Spontaneously I looked at the bewildered Professor Kaidan who was busy reaching into the waist bag. "Eh, yeah? Worth the pain."

While Lucian snorted and flicked his finger again, making the small glow slowly appear at the corner of my eye, the pain disappeared from the face. Then my master teacher was busy wiping away any traces of blood that might be left on the cheeks slowly using a handkerchief, forcing me to close one eye.

What Lucian did really made the whole dragonic skill look easy to do, he was indeed amazing but the picture in my head was still bad.

"Your regenerative ability is gone." And Lucian crossed the front two arms of the chest. "Almost the same as ordinary human abilities."

I nodded justifiably and pushed my master teacher's hand away from the face - as usual, he over-treated me.

"Yes, it is likely that I have truly become human. As I explained when rehabbing, I was just an ordinary human being but my soul was not. The soul is unstable and very sensitive to the seven deadly sins; when it absorbs them, it will form a dark force and I am made immortal by it."

"Is it because your soul rehabilitation is improving?" professor Kaidan asked over a beaming face.

However, I closed my mouth using my right hand in an attempt to think. "No. To cleanse an already stained soul was not that easy. And again, my soul is like being cleansed slowly until it is fully human, just like being held back from dying, ending up being immortal."

Finally I explained what happened on Vaughan's birthday, about me and Fate; the pay and the choices; and the whisper case and what I thought before.

Then Head Master Lucian fell silent for a moment before asking in a serious tone, "Did your immortal ability just disappear after talking to Fate at Vaughan's birthday party?"

Instantly I was stunned because it opened my mind. "Wait .. no! My immortality is slowly diminishing from before the birthday celebration, more precisely since meeting-ah, since meeting Fate!"

And my master teacher was surprised. "Compared to last year, this year you are different. Starting from your aura and regeneration ability, you can also respond well to others such as starting to be aware with the surrounding."

"Because ever since Fate arrived, everything has slowly changed. Even the world itself is becoming more active than ever," murmured the head of the organization to which I answered a steady nod but his words about the world became more active?

But I decided to put that aside.

"Then from that, it could be that Fate's state is getting worse because I am still immortal. But how to take away eternity? This is related to the soul; to the life. Man cannot change the shape of a soul, even I used to be dark because of the intervention of the demons."

Slowly, I began to look down, the two arms also squeezed and returned to the side of the body.

"I was afraid and confused as to what to do; also hoping that Fate could improve as before, so I wanted to report this matter. I don't know why everything changed because of Fate, what's the trigger? They are all still very blurry. Or is it related to why amnesia? I really, really don't understand ...."

... But want this problem to be resolved soon, what else has to do with Fate.

"Thank you for your report." The firm accent pulled me back to look up and look at Lucian's serious face. "We will discuss this issue further. For now, keep an eye on Fate and protect him. There's a chance it's not human .. or dragon."

His eyes glittered as if he had thought of something. And he entered his study, followed by Professor Kaidan who faithfully followed.
