When Destiny Meets

When Destiny Meets
13. FAMILIARS

Alina woke up not because of her alarm but because of a boisterous noise outside her room. Unlike the past few days, this morning the boisterous voices of the servants passed through his room. Alina tidied up her bed and peeked out to see what was going on.

Until one of the servants pulled Alina's arm and took her to the back kitchen. The confused Alina could only follow where she was taken. Arriving behind there are many kinds of food arranged in the kitchen.

"This morning Mr. Miller will have breakfast at home, the plan is for some relatives also to come," said the attractive waiter Alina earlier.

"So, you're helping me."

Honestly Alina was amazed by the many types of food they prepared. This was the first time Alina had seen this much breakfast. "Come on, what a bengong." Alina then moved quickly to help the other servant. From carrying side dishes to some cutlery.

Family members and guests who will be present today have not been seen. However, therefore they must move faster before the seats are filled. When it was Alina's turn to bring a pitcher filled with drinking water, she met Arkana.

Arkana was the first to step down from her room and sit in one of the chairs. The two looked at each other for a moment then Alina turned her gaze back towards the kitchen. Arka is back playing her phone. Not long after his phone rang Arka went out to pick him up.

A few moments call each other with someone, Arka began to see his relatives began to arrive one by one. It was obvious from the look on his face that he was uncomfortable with their arrival.

"Arka ... How healthy are you? come on in." One of his relatives, his uncle, greeted Arka.

Arkana did not answer but just bowed his head greeting. The Miller family who came today included uncles including their wives and sons as well as the wife and daughter of Mr. Miller's deceased sister.

These two families were the ones who so cornered Arka in the past. Therefore their arrival makes Arkana feel uncomfortable, very uncomfortable. Even after time had passed, after the old Ark settled in Boston his gaze upon them remained the same.

Inside was a loud voice. The voices clamored for each other, laughing at each other. They had not gathered together long enough.

Alina peeked out from behind the pillar in the hallway that connected directly to the dining room. Alina was curious about the other members of the Miller family. Even though among them all, the only one who has great power is only Mr. Miller. However, they are also among the great people.

Alina then looks for someone who has not been seen, even though it came the earliest. Yeah, well, Arkana's still out there and never coming in. Quite strange for Alina who was always happy when her uncle came.

"Ayo-ayo tasting the food." Mr. Miller opened this joint breakfast.

The sounds on the dining table were quite crowded, some were talking to each other. However, some who just play his phone while holding a sandwich in his hand others look indifferent and do not care about the surrounding circumstances.

Rose then got up from her chair and walked towards Alina. The shocked Alina hurriedly left not wanting to be caught. Rose went to meet Bi Iyah in the back kitchen.

"Bi, see Arka?" rose asked worriedly as the youngest child was nowhere to be seen.

"So early this morning I saw it at the dinner table."

"So see pick up the phone outside Bu," said Alina to help Bi Iyah answer.

Rose who had expected this then took out the dishes that were in the kitchen. The confused Bi Iyah immediately helped Rose and tried to take the plate, "Udah is the same as me."

"Later please enter the tupperware and continue to bring it to Arka."

With careful steps Alina walked towards Arkana's room. Because everyone was busy, it was Alina who Bi Iyah sent to Arkana's room. After being told the way, Alina confidently went towards Arka's room. However, his guts suddenly shrunk after being right in front of his room.

Alina knocked on the door a few times. There was no response from within. Alina had thought if maybe Mas Arkana had left, but according to the Arkana car security guard has not passed. Alina then came back knocking a little harder.

What sleep again? Hah ... did something happen?

Alina put her ear to the door to find out what was going on inside. Suddenly there was a hand from behind that passed through the front of his eyes and grabbed the doorknob. Instantly Alina raised her head to see who the person behind was.

However, at the same time the door opened and made Alina lose her balance. Arkana who had almost entered held Alina's body that lost balance towards the front. This makes Alina now fall on the chest of the field belonging to an Arkana Benjamin Miller.

Their matching height makes Alina's body position right landed there. For a while the two remained silent and did not move. Arkana pushes Alina away.

It feels familiar, the black leather jacket and this scent are all familiar.

Alina moved her eyeballs in panic and misbehavior. Suddenly, I remembered something. His gaze paid close attention to all the details of Arkana's face. Remembering an incident a few years ago.

"Do not look at everything."

"Here I bring breakfast from Bu Rose for Mas Arkana" said Alina handed over the food box that had been prepared by Bu Rose and Bi Iyah.

"Thank you."

"What else is going on?" asked Arkana cynically, her mood was clearly not good this morning.

Alina put on a sullen look, feeling her efforts were not appreciated. Already far brought a box of breakfast supplies for Arka but only given a thank you that does not sound sincere. Arkana repeated her question again, "What else is Alina?"

Alina was slightly jolted, not expecting her name to come out of the mouth of an Arkana. His pouting face turned smiling. Arkana is confused by Alina's drastic change of emotions, choosing her door cover instead.

I clearly said my name, right?

Alina returns to the kitchen and meets Rose. Alina has made sure that the breakfast provisions have been delivered to the hands of the owner. Rose smiled with relief, it has been a few days since Baskara was hospitalized all her attention was on Baskara.

Rose felt again that she was ignoring her youngest child. Alina looked at Rose's sorrowful gaze, "What's the matter if Alina can tell?" tanyanya carefully.

"Arkana was born as a child who was not expected to attend, but was much needed."

"At that time the happiness that appeared on her father's face clearly meant something else" Rose began telling Alina.

"We take care of this content, with another purpose behind it. At first I was very sure I couldn't take care of the kids anymore. Enough Baskara."

"But when Arka was born, both of her tiny hands clasped my fingers tightly. I promised to take care of this child better. Unfortunately, when he grew up, I broke that promise myself." Her voice started to tremble, Rose clearly held back her cries.
