48. ICE CUBES MELTING

Satrio finally managed to catch someone who had just noticed them. Someone turned out to be a young man who was still a dozen years old. The boy continued to rebel trying to break away. Arkana and Alina arrive.

They decided to take the boy to the house. Arkana tries to ask the boy slowly, hoping he will cooperate with him. However, the boy still rebelled and was arrested by Satrio.

"You keep this up I can put my emotions on hold ."." said Arkana.

Alina also tried to take over to ask the boy, "Who are you, why have you seen us all this time?"

The boy did not answer and chose silence. Arkana mentions the name of her father's assistant, Agus.

"You know Mr Agus?"

The boy's eyes grew sharp as he looked at Arkana after he mentioned the name. It is certain that this child has a relationship with Mr. Agus. Just making him talk to them.

The boy remained silent, Arkana had no choice but to reveal who he was, "I am Arkana, the son of Mr. Miller, if you want to work with us, I'll make sure your dad's okay."

Although still vigilant, it is clear that the movements of this child are getting softened. After hearing what Arkana said, he was clearly calmer and did not rebel anymore. Just a little more until this kid wants to talk to them.

Feeling less safe there, Satrio took the boy to his car along with Arkana and Alina. They'll continue the conversation in the car to a safer place. Alina clasped the boy's hand tightly inviting him away together.

Their journey was not too far from where it had been, but it was definitely safer than before. There Arkana began to ask the boy slowly.

"Are you and Agus still living together?" ask Arkana.

The boy shook his head, "It's been a long time that he didn't come home .. The last time he came home was even at midnight when the other boy slept."

"So where are you now, or where is your father?" ask Arkana again.

"The last time I heard back to Mr. Miller, but obviously where," said the boy with a sad face.

Arkana and Alina part ways with Satrio who has to return to the office to do something Arkana asks. Now only Arkana and Alina live in Arkana cars.

"Where else are you going?" ask Arkana.

Alina takes Arkana to a market full of food on her left right. Alina usually spends a lot of time there with Dance. They always come with a belly that has been deliberately emptied since morning.

Same with today, actually Alina came out with breakfast as is. So that just a little running his stomach has been rumbling. Alina typed her address on Arkana's car GPS screen. Arkana just obeyed Alina today.

Alina's eyes sparkled to see the many small shops and carts lined up sweetly along the market. Alina pulled Arkana up and down here looking at the food choices. Initially confused, but over time Arkana smiled a lot to see Alina's behavior.

Until they stop at a small cart that sells a variety of fries from tofu, bananas to a kind of shrimp tempura. The queue was quite long, Alina had to be patient a little until her turn arrived. Suddenly a large man grabbed the queue and almost made Alina fall.

Fortunately Arkana who was right behind Alina swiftly held Alina and brought her closer to her body. Upset at her line being dragged, Arkana almost reprimands the man but is blocked by Alina. "It's like this is the kayak of his art." Alina Smile.

After getting the fries she wanted Alina continued to smile. Arkana who saw the behavior of Alina like a child gets a toy can only smile too. "We're looking for the main meal .. okay?" Alina thrust her frying pack into Arkana, "This is for the wedge first."

Alina continued to walk with vigor, sometimes not looking to her right and left. Several times Alina almost collided with another pedestrian. Walking behind him was Arkana who looked indifferent but occasionally stretched his hands standby if Alina fell.
