After allowing Alina to enter, Rose accompanied her around. Since the first time I met Rose, I have always liked Alina. Outside of the aftermath of yesterday's incident, Rose didn't really blame Alina. Rose understood if it was purely an accident.
"Ga just have to say come here," Rose said with a smile and grabbed Alina's hand.
"Where can you tell Baskara, ma'am?" ask Alina sungkan.
"Baskara seems to be sleeping, not yet seen."
Although it sounded like ordinary talk, Alina felt very uncomfortable. Perhaps due to the presence of strangers like her, wherever they went there were always bodyguards and servants following them.
Alina continued to wander looking at the entire side of this luxurious house. There were only a few servants and bodyguards pacing around. Seeing Alina wink like that Rose could only laugh.
"Any huh?" rose asked the confused Alina.
"There's only one mother's family?" ask Alina curiously.
"This family even often only three .. that's also if the Bas engga diem in the back pavilion."
Honestly, not only inhabited by nuclear families, the atmosphere of the house feels strange, but there is indeed a different atmosphere from the house in general. It feels cold and mysterious. There are many rooms and hallways that will somehow take where people go through them.
Alina was then invited by Rose to the back area that was no less large. There is a pavilion overlooking a large fish pond. The pavilion was a place Baskara used to live in, including his workshop office.
Alina will be there a lot. As a waitress specially appointed by Baskara to work in her workshop office, Alina had no other choice but to be there. The area is quite isolated because of its position behind this luxury house.
Rose tried to ask Baskara's personal bodyguard what the child was up to. Impatiently waiting for the bodyguard's answer, Rose barged inside. Alina who did not dare, decided to wait outside.
Alina greeted Baskara's personal bodyguard. In the future they will also meet a lot. "Hello sir, I'm Alina .. " said Alina introduced herself. However, the bodyguard only smiled and slightly nodded his head.
People in this house why? I don't think there's any bright cheerful ..just Miss Rose doang.
After a while inside, Rose came out and took Alina back inside. It was clear from his face that did not look good. I don't know what's going on inside, only Rose and Baskara know.
Rose asked Alina to stay over today. Because it did not feel the afternoon, and not many public vehicles that pass there. There are not many or none at all. Alina planned to ask him later.
One of the servants there then drove Alina to one of the empty rooms there. The servants were almost all staying there, probably only the bodyguards and a few male servants who used to go home.
So that there is a special area provided as a room for the servants who live there. The position is not united with the core house. But also not so far away as the pavilion where Baskara lived.
Arriving at her room, Alina immediately contacted her father and Dari as promised. Alina told me that she would be staying today. I think there's a lot he wants to tell Tari. Not even 24 hours he was there, but all the strangeness there wants Alina to tell her best friend immediately.
Rose asked Alina to come together for dinner to introduce her to everyone. Honestly, Alina is not used to the habits that exist in this house. The introductory session sounded very formal to him.
"Stretch, what clothes will you wear? oh Tari .. if there was him I wouldn't be this tense." Alina spoke to herself in the room.
Evening has arrived. There were a few boisterous voices coming from behind the door of his room. It seemed like the dinner was about to start so the waiter there was busy preparing for it. Mr. Miller was selective enough about his food that they had to be more careful.
It's been about a month Mr. Miller's regular dinner at home. Because he usually misses dinner with his family. Not even going home.
"Can ... can you bring those plates forward? all arranged." The waiter then returned to the kitchen.
"Should bring a plate doang not difficult yes .. come Al, certainly can," he said himself.
In fact, the dishes that must be carried are quite heavy. Alina had difficulty carrying it, especially since it was quite a distance to the dining room. Maybe for the other waitress this is normal, but not for a new person like Alina.
His hands began to tremble as it held the weight of the plate he was carrying. When his grasp almost slipped, there was the hand of someone holding the plate so as not to fall. Alina then saw who was helping her.
"It's a habit." The man's voice sounded familiar, but this was definitely not Baskara's voice.
It turned out that he was the man who had entered with her this afternoon. Another son of Bu Rose. The man then replaced Alina carrying the plates onto the table. He also arranged all the plates in his place.
Even though the look on his face looked sullen and did not want to do that. However, both of his hands were still moving quickly to arrange the dishes. Alina looked at the man there. Suddenly his shoulder was patted by Rose who then told Alina to sit down.
The long dining table was divided into two different regions. On the right side specifically for the nuclear family members are Mr. Miller, Mother Rose and their two children. On the other hand for the head of the bodyguards, butlers and staff who sometimes come to dinner with them.
Alina was at first confused as to where she should sit. Rose kindly directed Alina to sit on the left side along with the butler and the head of the bodyguard. Alina herself did not know why she had to sit with them.
But as usual, Alina had no other choice but to follow the directions from Bu Rose. Food began to be served. One by one the seats started to fill up. Finally Alina saw Baskara who since her arrival did not even once meet each other.
Baskara greeted warmly her mother and her sister Arkana who had been sitting since earlier looked busy with her tablet. Not long after everyone who was sitting got up from his seat except Rose, Baskara and Arkana. They welcomed Mr. Miller who came with his personal bodyguard who also took a sitting position beside Alina.
It turns out this is the atmosphere of dinner at the conglomerate family. The atmosphere was very awkward and formal, unlike the atmosphere of Alina's dinner at home.
Dinner has begun. In between meals Mr. Miller realizes Alina's presence. "You're the one who painted Baskara yesterday, right?" his spontaneous tanya made everyone speechless.
The bewildered Alina simply replied in a soft voice, "Yes sir."
"From today he became my servant in the Pah pavilion" Baskara told his father.
"Bring a change of clothes, right? you go home once a month .. Don't go back and forth, bother."
Even before Alina asked, Baskara had already made things clear by now. Somehow but all the servants there seemed to be silent and stiff. Maybe because Mr. Miller was there everyone was more careful.
"You go home, too, Ar." Suddenly such words came from Mr. Miller.
Arkana was silent and did not respond to her father's words. Rose who saw that then tried to dilute the atmosphere that was starting to feel bad.
"For a long time we have not eaten together like this, let's not be too formal dong," said Rose warmly to everyone.
"I asked your son, but he chose not to answer .. is that polite?" mr. Miller asked Rose to quip Arkana.
Arkana put down her spoon and stopped eating, then stared intently at her father. Seemed to regulate his emotions. Alina who saw that from afar, became curious about what happened between this father and son relationship.
