38. GRINNING

Alina could no longer suppress her feelings. Her crying broke in the bathroom. Even the splashing sound of water that Alina deliberately turned on could not block the sound of a heart full of wounds was heard by Arkana who had been silent before the bathroom door.

Arkana was standing there even though Alina didn't notice it. His mind was filled with questions, what really happened to Alina. Her cries sounded painful in Arkana's ears.

After a while Alina came out of the bathroom. The swelling in his eyes is still not gone, even tends to increase. Alina sees Arkana in front of her laptop focusing on her work. In her heart Alina wished that Arkana had not heard her cry earlier.

"Take a drink take it yourself." From a distance Arkana sees a confused Alina not knowing what to do. Alina walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water. On the table was hot soup for Alina.

Seeing that, Alina glanced towards Arkana. Arkana just looked at Alina from the edge of her eyes and said, "Eat. The Cape just sob." Alina then put down the towel she was wearing and started eating her warm soup.

Arkana seems busy preparing something on the sofa in front of the TV while Alina washes the bowl of soup. Arkana pulled out a blanket and pillow and she neatly stacked them on the sofa. "You sleep in the room, I'm here" Arkana said, her hands full of pillows.

Alina refused of course. Being accommodated by Arkana and not being left on the side of the road alone was already a profit for Alina. It's impossible until the heart uses Arkana's room. However, Arkana is strong enough to push Alina's body inside her room and close the door.

It was awkward at first, but his eyes were getting tired from crying a lot today. Alina intended to sit for a while and not long fall asleep in Arkana's bed. His body and mind were very tired today. From happiness to painful sadness happens at one time.

The next morning, Alina is surrounded by an alarm that goes off in Arkana's room. The alarm was in charge of waking Arkana up at exactly five in the morning. Usually at a time like this Arkana starts his day by exercising in the gym provided by his apartment.

Slowly Alina opens the door and finds Arkana's apartment already uninhabited. "Where's Arkana?" mumbling itself. Alina goes around looking for the whereabouts of Arkana who turns out to have gone to the gym according to her schedule.

Alina opened the curtains and was shocked by what she saw. The scene just before sunrise that was so beautiful was clearly visible in front of his eyes. Alina could not turn her gaze away from the scene in front of her.

"Mas Arkana actually has an apartment with the coolest view."

Too engrossed to not realize the sound that appears from the password button that is pressed. Arkana came back from the gym and saw Alina standing in front of the window.

"It's cool, right" Arkana said to Alina.

"The door sounds should be enough." Arkana walks to the bathroom to get ready for the office leaving Alina still engrossed in front of the window.

Once tidy, the two ate the breakfast Arkana had ordered together. Arkana again asked Alina to be escorted to her house. However, Alina remained with the same answer. Alina doesn't want to trouble Arkana more.

Arkana finally decides to drive Alina until she gets a taxi to her house. Arkana made sure Alina had boarded and she immediately left for the office. On the road Alina sent Arkana a message of gratitude.

Since last night Alina has not had time to thank Arkana directly. It's a coincidence that Alina was able to meet Arkana last night. It was inconceivable to him if he should end up sleeping on the side of the road.

Alina had no intention of going home. He wanted to calm down especially from his father who did not understand at all what he felt. Therefore, after arriving later, Alina will immediately take care of her clothes and return to the Miller family home.

Although it contained people who were completely foreign to Alina, it was there that she found warmth from Bu Rose, Bi Iyah, and the other servants. Besides that now after several times helped by Arkana, Alina was able to find security while with him.

Arkana has arrived at his office, then greeted by Satrio who has been waiting since. Satrio gave a little briefing on Arkana's schedule today. Because of Alina's wait this morning, Arkana was ten minutes late.

Several clients and staff were present in the meeting room. Arkana took a deep breath and entered the meeting room. "I'm sorry to have waited, there was a little thing that I had to take care of first .. thanks for the understanding of waiting."

"Okay, we start today's meeting." As usual Arkana opened the meeting quietly.

Alina quickly cleaned her clothes. Don't let him meet his father. Alina now wants to rebel and show her frustration to her father. Alina wanted her father to understand her feelings a little.

Adi who was still asleep in his room was completely unaware of Alina who had been home since. After getting her clothes cleaned without waking her father, Alina then came out carefully. Not to forget Alina also brought Arkana's helmet on her.

Alina now lives at a bus stop not far from her home. He waited for the bus to go straight to Tari's house. This morning Alina had already told Tari who was anxious to look for her from last night. The plan today is for Dance to deliver Alina to the Miller family home.

Inside the bus Alina just looked at the streets that began to crowded. He now seems to have no direction. I don't know what else to do in the future. Alina continued to exhale heavily, bowing languidly.

Suddenly a grandmother sat down and approached Alina. The granny smiled at Alina, "Why is it so early in the morning?" ask the grandmother warmly. Alina simply shook her head then returned the granny smile.

"Smile beautiful dong, don't let the problems that exist eliminate your beautiful smile." The grandmother that Alina had just met back then managed to make Alina smile. "Or, many people do not realize their smile is beautiful because it is too late to think about the problems that will also pass" continued the grandmother.
