Two pairs of eyes stared at each other as if pitting against the strength of who was losing and following the will of one of them.

“You are serious about your choice and will not change?” ask Maxim to make sure.

“No.”

“Enlighten you care about other people's feelings other than for your own pleasure?”

Lev laughed cynically, “What do I care. Did my decision hurt them so much that I should care?”

“You mean to marry Tiara but you don't care about her feelings. Awesome, Lev,” decak Maxim until Lev starts to pay attention.

“What do you mean, Papa?”

“Papa wanted to ask, did you ever defend Tiara when all eyes were on her as a shameless woman for living together with the man who was supposed to be her son?” Max explains with some emphasis but Lev remains unconcerned.

“I like Tiara because she knows her choices. He will not be with me if he has a shallow mind that always cares about the opinions of others,” Lev said firmly.

Max shook his head. He did give freedom to Lev determine his life companion but he did not expect Lev's choice precisely on women whose age was no longer young.

Max looked out the window. He had to give his son a chance even if it did not fit his choice. “Papa will not accept women whose origins are unclear. You're stubborn with your choice, Papa will also stick to Papa.”'s stance

Max turned around and observed Lev's face sharply. “If you are serious with Tiara, take her family to meet with Papa and if a small problem like this alone she can not fulfill it then you will not be able to be together!”

“Papa threatens me?”

“Not. Papa just gave a warning to Tiara!”

The answer Lev never thought he would answer. Does Maxim seriously threaten Tiara while she knows that Tiara is one of her most loyal secretaries? But Lev cannot ignore the warnings given by Maxim.

“Is there still anything Papa needs to tell me?” lev asked after Maxim didn't speak.

“There. Who are you looking for in Emanuel's advertising company? Do you intend to find trouble with Emanuel or are you trying to get Sofia back?” ask Max surprisingly.

Lev gasped. Does he still need to ask where Maxim knows his activities? Or is Maxim just trying to lure him into a voice to find an excuse that he won't have to continue his relationship with Tiara?

“To be clear I am interested in one of the directors he has and I hope he can work in my company,” Lev replied.

“Really? No other reason?”

“If anything, is Papa sure you don't know?” reply Lev.

There aren't. In his heart Maxim admits that Lev is not serious about the quest or because he is sure that the woman who will accompany him to old age is Tiara?

“I want to know how if your marriage is opposed by the Tiara family?”

“Who wants to oppose it? Parents, ex-husband or child? All this time they never knew about Tiara, so why think of them?” reply Lev cynical.

“I want to tell Papa, Tiara is not a child anymore whose actions should be known by her family. He is quite responsible with his future.” Lev replied firmly and did not expect Max to interfere in his personal affairs.

Max laughed and his laughter was enough to make Lev choose to retreat. “He is not a child anymore even to say as my son he is not worthy. But he also has to know to be a part of my family, a lot he has to do.”

Max's voice sounded so different as he continued his sentence, “You may find it absurd but as long as you are still part of the Grigory family, then you must obey the rules that Papa made! Papa does not accept women who run away from his country because of legal issues. You are not a child but your mind is not far from a toddler.”

Although Lev disagreed, he could not deny his father's orders. Maxim is still the head of the respected Grigory family and his power everyone knows. It was the same as going into the infinity hole if he refused the order.

“Good. I'll talk to Tiara that she has to bring her daughter to meet Papa,” Lev relented.

Max laughed with satisfaction. “Good. Does her daughter live in Indonesia, if true, when will she come?”

“She lives in Paris,” replied Lev spontaneously.

Lev regretted giving such a quick answer especially when he saw Max's sparkling eyes, “Di Paris? Since when?”

“For sure I don't know because it's none of my business.”

Maxim's headband was not noticed by Lev. In his heart Maxim barely believes Lev's totally uncaring attitude towards the daughter of the woman he loves. Was Lev never serious about Tiara even though he always said Tiara was the right woman for him?

Maxim believes deep in Lev's heart he's not ready to marry a woman whose age is above his own. Seventeen years is not a little age because at that age Tiara must have had a big enough child.

“Our relationship? Will after meeting him Papa give his blessing?” ask Lev cynically.

“If it is in line with papa's expectations why not?”

“Can Papa repeat it again so I can record it?”

“You don't believe it?”

“Do Papa believe water can flow from the bottom up?”

Lev leaves Maxim, who still looks irritated. It's not easy to persuade Lev to love a woman of his age but Maxim already has a plan. He would make sure that Tiara would never be his daughter-in-law.

Not Maxim who will break the relationship but Tiara himself will leave Lev. That was also if he had not misunderstood Tiara.

After meeting Lev and Maxim, Lev immediately returned to his room forgetting his intention to go out because there was something important he had to tell Tiara.

Lev noticed the tidy Tiara as if he was going to go out of the office.

“You want to go?” ask Lev.

“I didn't know you were back at the office. I thought you wanted to meet with a client like you said,” Tiara replied in surprise.

Did Lev just leave the office to meet with a client? As he remembered, he had just left the office and had been intercepted by Nile without him knowing what he really wanted on his way out of his study.

“I only met with Papa and papa want to meet your family,” replied Lev.

“My family, what for?” tiara asked astonished.

“As a reason to bless our relationship,” replied Lev.

“You're kidding, Lev. Your father knew that I had no family after a year of working for him. Then who should I bring?” tiara Laughter.

“Your son. Papa wants to know your son.”

“My child? You mean Mr Maxim wants to get acquainted with my son as a condition for him to approve? What if I told you that I didn't need the blessing?”

“You don't need the blessing? For me it doesn't matter but aren't you worried about your own future?”

Every word that comes out of Lev's mouth is like a threat and Tiara knows not Maxim who will threaten his future but Lev himself will do it.

“I'm sorry. I just wanted to talk. Then can I go? I happen to have an appointment with an obstetrician,” Tiara said.

“Astricter? You didn't mean to say you were pregnant, did you?” lev asked with a frown.

“Of course not. I just make sure that the operation I have done remains safe,” replied Tiara.

Tiara had a tubectomy so she definitely would not get pregnant but she also had to have a checkup. It's just that his goal of going to the doctor had another purpose.

“Do I have to accompany you?”

Imagining himself in the news by visiting the obstetrician along with the woman who had been close to him became a frightening specter for Lev and he was not ready to be faced with the news.

“No need. However, I am more secure and comfortable with coming alone. I hope you're not angry, Lev. I just meant to keep you unperturbed,” Tiara said trying to explain.

“No problem. I just want you to call your son right away because Papa can't wait anymore. You must know his every wish is an order that must be done well.”

“I know. I'll call Marry and tell him to come here.”

“Good. If he's ready, you can tell me that Nile can pick him up to meet Papa.”

“I'll tell him and I'll tell the Nile when Marry is ready,” Tiara replied.

“Good. Then I'll take you to the hospital after that I go straight home,” Lev said.

Lev deliberately wanted to escort Tiara to the hospital once he saw Tiara had already glanced at her watch repeatedly.
