When Love Loses Meaning

Lev saw Max get up from his seat. Lev knew Max had no doubt that he could leave all his wealth but not his family.

“What can you expect from a woman who can't respect the parents of your lover? I can't believe that you abandoned your pride because of a woman who can't keep her pride,” Max said.

“What Papa wants!”

“Have you forgotten the terms I gave you? I can't believe your brain is blunt because it's never sharpened,” Max told sharp.

“Rethink if you deserve to live your life according to standards or you prefer to be a loser who has no honor,” Max said.

Lev saw Max calling someone. Max's words sounded faint and vague but, Max walked over to him so he could clearly hear Max's words to someone he was calling.

“I'm disappointed because you're not who I wanted to be, Tiara. Tomorrow, Chaty will send you a job termination so you can return to Indonesia. There is no place for employees who cannot work together!”

Max had already closed the conversation and stood up to challenge Lev. “Terms I give very easy especially his son is in Europe. But he couldn't do it thinking you wouldn't leave him.

“Papa can't do it. Tiara is my lover and I can't possibly leave her!” objection Lev.

Max's laughter was more threatening than any word he had said before until Lev tried to listen.

“I've done it. And I've been waiting and waiting but she .

do you deserve to defend?” sue Max.

“I will not let Papa return Tiara to Indonesia. He already has no family and his son may not want to admit it,” Lev was angry.

“Because Tiara doesn't deserve to be a good parent. A child can not forget let alone not to admit his parents if he does good,” replied Max firmly.

Max sees Lev angry and emotional. He had no idea that Lev's love was so great for Tiara. What would Lev do if he knew that the woman he loved was the mother of the woman he had taken his chastity to?

“I'll give Tiara a second chance. He can continue to be in this city as long as he can bring his daughter to see me. But, he will never again work at any Grigory company!”

Without saying anything, Lev left Max's study. And he must be calm when passing with his mother.

“Lev? When comes?” greet Karina.

“A long time ago. I didn't see Mama, where?” reply Lev.

“Mama just got back from the rest house. You met Max?”

“True and the result is not what I want,” Lev said complaining.

“Mama won't force you to tell stories because we're one thought. Tiara doesn't deserve to be the only woman you deserve. Her ego is too big for you,” Karina's advice until Lev's grin comes out just like that.

“I know. Unfortunately, I'm not a child who can't make a choice. I went.”

And Lev walked out leaving Karina looking at him worriedly. Why Lev could not turn away from Tiara. What are the advantages of women that are not owned by young women who have been lovers of Lev?

Lev is disappointed with his parents as well on Tiara who is unable to fulfill his parents' request. Is it so difficult for Tiara to bring her daughter to meet Max?

Lev walked into the apartment with a face that was far from friendly. And his emotions just popped out the moment he saw Tiara speaking in a different tone on the phone.

Tiara smiled and continued talking. For him, he was used to face Lev's attitude which was sometimes still spoiled. But now was not the time to obey Lev's orders.

“You can't just do it!”

Lev again gave a warning to Tiara when the woman's high tone was heard by Lev.

“Tiara!”

The warning from Lev was so clear but Tiara did not hear it. He keeps talking over the phone trying to defend his rights until Lev picks up Tiara's phone and throws it into a corner of the room.

“Lev! What are you doing?” Shouted Tiara furiously.

“You look and you still ask me!” reply Lev with a high note.

“Yes. I'm asking you because you don't make sense, Lev!” answer Tiara.

He walked towards the corner of the room and intended to take his cell phone but, Lev's hand instantly prevented him from standing still until Tiara could only stand still.

“You hurt me, Lev,” complained Tiara slowly.

“Hurt? You know what you've done to me?” reply Lev with bluffing.

“You have absolutely no respect for the love and care I give you, Tiara. I just asked you to talk to your son to meet with papa but, you don't consider it at all,” Lev said sharply.

“But Marry has returned to Indonesia. How could I possibly ask her to meet your father!”

“Mild. You just have to send Marry a ticket or I can talk to him in person before sending him a plane to come. It's easy if you care about our relationship,” Lev denies.

Tiara shook her head. “Not that easy, Lev. Mary had a job she couldn't have left. And she also is unlikely to leave her child in the care of others.”

“So, Marry is more responsible than you as her mother? I'm sure he can do it. He can take his son because we will send him a private jet so they are comfortable,” Lev said stubbornly.

“I think ... everything no longer matters. Did you know that I was fired by your father?” tiara said in a complaining voice.

“I know and all because of your mistake. Because of your uncaring attitude and papa is not a patient person especially to his non-compliant employees,” replied Levjekas.

“So, why would I bring Marry here if I had to go back to Indonesia?” reply cynical Tiara.

“For papa to bless our relationship. You can't work for papa's company, but you can do something else. So, when did Marry come here?” demand Lev.

“I don't know. I need to talk and persuade him first. It is not easy to persuade her especially for my sake,” replied Tiara weakly.

“Because you were never present and paid attention to him?” cibir Lev unconsciously.

“I don't care. The demands of the job that made me leave him,” Tiara replied in self-defense.

“Terlarah. I just want to know when you can get Marry. And papa is waiting for an answer from you as soon as possible or .. You must have heard the consequences if you refused him,” Lev cetus sharp.

There was nothing Tiara could do but follow Max's will if he was still interested in a relationship with Lev. He had heard everything before Lev came and all he had to do was call Marry and persuade him.
