When Love Loses Meaning
More than a threat

Emanuel's intense attention astonished Rosemary. He wondered what was going on in his heart and why did Emanuel see him as a fool and understand nothing?

“What's up?” Rosemary asked with both eyebrows almost fused together.

“I ... I want to make sure you don't know the name Grigory?” emanuel asked to make sure.

“I don't mean to make you remember the past much less you haven't seen him in a long time. But have you forgotten the last name of the man you've been avoiding?” Emanuel asked with straight eyes to Rosemary's face.

The change that happened to Rosemary's face so quickly that Emanuel regretted not being able to keep his mouth. However, he also does not want to make Rosemary enter Max's company without knowing who the man really is.

Rosemary's pale face and her lips twitching as she spoke made Emanuel wish he could have more of a relationship than a friend so he could take over the sadness and fear that exists within women that's.

“You mean ... You mean to say that they have a relationship not just a name?”

“True. Lev Grigory is an influential man but without Max's support, the influence he has will not be as big and scary for the parties he crosses with,” Emanuel replied.

“You can do whatever you want but, I doubt you can avoid Max for longer than you expected,”.

“In other words, whatever my answer everything was meaningless at the time Max wanted it,” complained Rosemary.

“You're wrong. Why don't you understand what I'm saying. You can reject it but, when you reject it, Max starts looking for reasons to investigate who you are,” explained Emanuel.

“You don't mean to say that Max doesn't know who I am yet, do you?”

Emanuel. “I'm not sure he doesn't know. The biggest possibility he doesn't know yet is that he doesn't yet know that you have a child.”

“I've left Paris but why do I still hear the name Grigory. Tell me, Noel, do I have to go back to Indonesia so that I don't see or hear about them again,” Rosemary complained as she rubbed her face.

Rosemary had not been in Paris for a long time and she had chosen to live in a village far away since she met Lev. Rosemary is grateful that she doesn't need to hear the news about Lev anymore but why is it that Max is looking for her now?

“The circumstances would have cost you more had you returned to Indonesia let alone until Max heard you gave birth to his granddaughter. I suggest that you accept his offer and keep Yuri's presence a secret until the time comes,” Emanuel said to surprise Rosemary.

“You're crazy, Noel! How could I work with him. I like digging my own grave hole,” reject Rosemary.

“Then will you accept my application? I can't do more than I can as a friend, Rose. I can avoid you from Max and Lev's interference as long as you're my wife. I knew Max would never bother another family let alone one he already knew well.”

The advice is very interesting and profitable Rosemary but, she is not a selfish woman who can let a man accept the burden of a woman who does not love him.

“I'm sorry I couldn't do it, Noel. All this time you've helped me and I can't accept more,” Rosemary said after letting their silence be felt.

“How about Yuri. Are you gonna let Max know about him?”

A smile of regret was seen on Rosemary's lips. He did not expect Emanuel to still pay attention to him after repeatedly rejecting the approach Emanuel had given him.

Rosemary took a breath. He hopes his decision is not wrong. “I will accept Max's offer and I will take Yuri with me. I don't know what the guy wants but, like you said that I can't keep running.”

Once again Rosemary was selfish for her own sake. He left Emanuel while he knew that the man was so good and was always there in his time of need but .. he was not always the rightful man while Emanuel deserved the best. A woman who deserves and gives her love.

“You are sure of your decision?”

“Yakin.”

“While I regret it later, I hope there is no one I sacrifice, Noel,” Rosemary said in her heart.

After an emotionally draining talk, they return home and find Yuri sleeping in her room. Emanuel only stopped by for a moment to look at Yuri and kiss her softly until Rosemary had to hide her tears seeing the attention Emanuel gave her son.

“Thank you. I'll wait for news from you. I hope Max can agree with the terms we give,” said Rosemary.

Emanuel has left Rosemary's house and it is time for Rosemary to explain her decision to Biana. He will go with Biana if the woman agrees and is ready to be with him wherever he goes while still on the European continent.

“You are sure of your choice?”

The victory was pronounced Biana after Rosemary conveyed the offer given by Max.

“No choice. I can't avoid it because I don't want to attract her attention, Biana. I'm tired and hope everything ends well,” muttered Rosemary while leaning back in the chair.

Biana smiled. He understood and understood Rosemary's situation. Rosemary is young and there is no way she keeps hiding because she does not want to meet Lev while the man is free to roam around and date his own real mother.

“So, when are you going?” Biana looked back at Rosemary who suddenly looked agitated.

“Thank you, but, do you want to come later?”

“I will accompany you as long as Yuri has no one to look after,” replied Biana made Rosemary wake up from her seat and hugged the stocky body that Biana had.

“Thank you for always being there for us, Bi. I won't be able to work if you're not with me.” Rosemary let out her heart.

Biana is everything. He may have been desperate or returned to Indonesia and embarrassed his family again for coming home with a child of Caucasian descent.

It's not just Rosemary who is agitated because Max is experiencing the same thing. Max deliberately did not tell Lev or his wife his plans. Max hopes the reunion between Rosemary and Lev will take a reasonable stage. Rosemary will work for him and Lev cannot stay in his office.

“Near what is the relationship of Emanuel and Rosemary. Why the man was so protective of her that even the terms of the contract had to be in Rosemary's favor. There's no way they don't have a special relationship,” murmured Max.

He had received the contract letter that Emanuel had given him and had sent him back. He hopes some of the notes he gives can make Emanuel confident so that Rosemary can come to Moscow without any doubt at all.

The sound of knocking on the door was followed by the appearance of Lev when the door opened.

“I hope not to. There's something I should talk to Papa,” Lev told Max, looking at him in surprise.

Lev doesn't usually come to see him at home. Lev always talked to him in the office while at home they met very rarely because Lev spent more time in the apartment he lived in with Tiara.

“I've talked to Tiara about Papa's wishes. Tiara apologizes because her daughter can't see Papa,” tell Lev after he sits down.

“Why? Is he not serious with you?” ask Max with a frown.

“Marry has returned to Indonesia and his son is already tied to a job that cannot be left alone,” replied Lev giving an excuse.

“Papa means you can only get to know him through talking through video only. No problem even though papa prefers to meet in person,” said Max made Lev gasp.

“Unfortunately can't. I am not a child anymore who must obey Papa's orders as a parent and I also do not need Papa's blessing so that I can be with the woman I love,” cetus Lev started to wake up from his seat.

“True and papa thought that you also did not need the support of the Grigory family as your family. When did you leave and leave all the luxuries we gave you? You must know everything you have now is still owned by us.” Max spoke in a defiant tone.
