Desta smiled at the reaction and also looked at Dean's face as he passed through the streets of the capital. The tall buildings were actually no less distant than his hometown, it's just that Jakarta is more crowded and just look at it for almost an hour they have been on the journey yet to arrive because the streets are jammed.

It felt very bored and so tired, but they finally arrived at Sea's house after an hour on the way. Sea's residence was not actually a house, but an apartment on the fifth floor.

"Finally you guys arrived, I thought you were eloping" said Sea, as he opened the door, facing Dean. It was almost as if the girl had opened her mouth to the man, for it was not the welcome given after her long journey, it was a mockery.

Dean thought Desta was offended by Sea's remarks, but instead laughed, not feeling offended because of the feud between the two couples who were betrothed was very comforting.

Dean glared sharply at Sea, but unconcerned by him, he walked in leaving the door open so the two comers could follow him.

Sea had already returned to his room, closing the door loudly until it sounded all the way to the living room. Dean became worried, how could he live in that house with a man who was considered to be crazy, temperamental and also unpredictable! However, he has to be patient and quick through this all, just two weeks and he will soon be back in Medan.

Didn't know what to do Dean was just sitting on the couch. The crazy man who was the host had yet to show where his room was, so he could only wait to sit on the living room sofa, lucky that Desta did not leave him immediately, she said, so that his heart can still be calm even if only a little.

Desta was familiar with the whole ins and outs of the apartment, stood up to take a drink in the refrigerator and put it on the table. "Drink, so as not to strain."

"Thank you, don't you want to go home?" ask Dean for pleasantries. Actually, he doesn't know what to say.

"Are you tired of seeing me? If you're disturbed by my presence, I can get out of here right now" said Desta raising an eyebrow, waiting for Dean's reply. If the girl is disturbed, she will go home.

"Not so, instead I thank you for accompanying me. I don't know what to do either. Just look at the strange man's behavior, enter the room while he hasn't shown me where my room is. He thinks I'm not tired after traveling long distances?" dean's unsuccessful curse expels his resentment towards the man.

He was both a close friend and Sea's right hand man. Only he knew about Sea's matchmaking matters with Dean outside of Melody, of course.

When hearing Sea's story, Desta was surprised, because he did not think that Sea who had principles and also loudly could comply with the request of his mother. Desta knew for himself how much the man loved Melodi.

Desta should have been happy to hear that Sea had been betrothed to another woman, which meant that he might have had a chance to approach Melodi. It had been a long time that the man had fallen for the girl, but because Melodi had chosen Sea which was indeed more than anything from Desta, made the man harbour her feelings.

Half an hour talking Dean felt Desta was a pleasant person as a friend. The man was sincere and seemed to be able to adjust to him who was a little harsh and not confident. The two seemed to chatter, heard several times Dean's laughter broke over the joke that Desta threw at him. The laughter echoed to the room and was heard by Sea.

Actually since then the man did not sleep, trying to listen to the conversation of the two. However, it did not succeed in hearing.

The more he heard Dean laughing happily, the more annoyed and arrogant he grew in his heart. Sea got up from his bed and walked out of the room.

"Can't you do something useful? Go to the kitchen, make me some porridge! You're here to take care of me, not to talk to anyone else!"

Both of them were shocked to hear Sea's rebuke that had suddenly appeared before them. The man looked angry and did not like to see the two of them joking around.

"Casual dong bro, lo again sick don't get angry. If you need anything, you just talk, don't yell at Dean like that, he'll be scared! Look," said Desta saw his best friend was angry for no reason.

If indeed the man needed something and wanted to rule Dean, he should have told her from the beginning what the girl should do, instead of going into the room and leaving them both as if they were not appreciative.

"Allah, be quiet! I'm not asking for your opinion! Did you finish picking him up? Now you can go home, there's a lot for this girl to do, and I need a break!" Excited Sea who now turned to look at Desta cynically.

Desta understood Sea's fickle mood, he nodded even though he was a little ashamed of Dean for being politely ordered by Sea in front of the girl. However, not wanting to prolong and trouble her, she knew that maybe the fever caused her best friend a little error.

"Dean, I'll go home first. If you need to, you can call me with the number I gave you earlier" Desta said gently to Dean. The girl could only nod, and continued to look at Desta's steps until the door closed again. Dean could feel Sea's sharp gaze towards him now.

"You're a hypocrite, when you first met me, you pretended not to be interested, but just a few hours later you met my friend, you were able to get close to him, laughing without any shame and awkwardness in the least. Actually, if you really like'kan approached a lot of men?" said Sea who managed to hurt Dean's feelings.
