The Part 15

... "I knew my heart would never be the same, but I told myself that I would be fine." - Sara Evans...

Trying to make peace with the real situation is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. Trying to survive and accept destiny with a chest of air is also not an easy matter.

A month passed. The changes began to be seen in Rahma especially in the physical woman. The body that contained now slowly began to lose its weight. The usual bright sparkling eyes now look cute. The habit of chatting with bi Nah when taking care of the house slowly disappears. The woman was more reserved and dreamy.

“Are you all ready, son? Has anyone missed?” As usual, Rahma started the day by cooking, taking care of the children and taking them to study.

“Udah all bun.”

“OK, let’s go..” after making sure his two children were sitting properly Rahma started running her car.

Thirty minutes of jamming, they finally arrived. “Enjoyous yes school.” Rahma opened the car door and slightly tidied up Kiara and Maura's uniform.

“Spirit!!” Kiara and Maura held their palms up into the air which greeted the laughter of her mother.

“Yes already in there, do not forget to read what..??”

“Bissmillah...” Both compact.

“Assalamualaikum mother.” The two children said goodbye and kissed Rahma's hand.

“Waalaikumsalam.

After her two children were not seen Rahma back in the car. While waiting for school, Rahma plans to shop at the supermarket.

“Assalamualaikum bi..” Rahma called bi Nah to record what goods and needs should be purchased.

“I want to go to the supermarket, please note what you want to buy bi. Send to me later ya.” Her request.

“Oke, thanks bi. Assalamualaikum..” he said hung up.

The clock was at half-eight in the morning, but the cloudy weather blocked the sun from shining this morning. Hendra was tidy with his office uniform, the man was petting Naira before going to work.

Cup.. Hendra kissed the cheek and inhaled the fragrance of the baby girl. “Eemm... paternal child fragrance.”.

Repeatedly the face that was covered with feathers stuck to Naira's cheeks, making the baby chuckle with his wriggling hands.

“Later in the afternoon do not forget mas.” Lia reminded Naira's immunization schedule.

“Iya, three o'clock right.”

“Iya, later I go directly or wait for the pick up?”

“I picked up.” His reply while diverting Nira to Lia's sling.

“Ok.”

“Yes already, I'm going.”

“Iya beware.” Lia kissed her husband's hand.

“Assalamualaikum..”

“Waalaikumsalam.

“Udah bun..”

“One more mother..”.

Different answers sound. The two children were lying on their stomachs on the carpet and working on their respective PRs.

“You are on help deck?” Rahma approached Maura after placing a tray on the table.

“No need mother, thanks. This is just to count the results aja.” Maura replied that she was still focusing on her PR.

“Oke.” Rahma turned her body and sat down on the sofa.

“Completed.” Maura smiled broadly.

“Say what.?”

“Alhamdulilah.”.

Rahma smiled and told her two children to drink the juice she had brought. “Drink his juice first son, mumpung still cool.”

“Still mother.”

“Sama-sama nak.”

“Mother, father hasn't called?” Kiara asked as she rubbed her wet lips.

Rahma momentarily fell silent, her head then turned towards the wall clock. “Jam seven..” murmur.

“Maybe dad is busy, wait a minute.” His word.

“Usually Hendra's clock is on the phone. Is it possible he still has business.” Thought Rahma. He didn't stop wondering, either.

In the wait until some time, Hendra was not there to call. Kiara and Maura had repeatedly asked and Rahma finally tried to contact first. There was nothing with her husband.

There was a tone that indicated that Hendra's phone was active but the man did not answer Rahma's call. Still curious, Rahma tried to send a message and after a while the message was no reply.

The frown on Rahma's forehead is visible, the woman is still thinking what's wrong with her husband. “Where to bun?”

Kiara's voice resuscitated Rahma. “Not in the big break, maybe dad is busy again. Tomorrow we try again yes, now we pray first yuk.” Rahma tries to give understanding. Even with a disgruntled face, Kiara nodded.

After the prayer, the two children decided to sleep together in the mother's room. With Rahma in the middle position in the flank by Kiara and Maura on the left and right sides.

“Mothers curusan yes?” Kiara who slept while hugging Rahma felt her body was smaller than usual.

Rahma heard that. He deliberately hid his changes by always wearing loose clothes to wear thick makeup.

“Ah time anyway…? Maybe because lately mother ate a little sister. So dates deh.” said Rahma reasoned.

“Do not diet mother.” Chirpe Maura.

“Snack deck, mommy's not dieting.” Kekeh Rahma's. “Udah sleeping ayok, already malem. Waking up at dawn is hard again.” Continue the woman.

A smooth snoring finally sounded after a few minutes. Rahma opened her eyes and kissed her two children slowly. “Sorry yes son. I'm sorry that you're not a strong woman. But mother will still try to give the best for you.” Whispers watered.

“My heart and mind are harder to accept and live this marriage after knowing that I'm in a relationship. Even when I choose to part ways it is not this difficult, where the heart and mind are more receptive and try to make peace with everything.” Inner Rahma.

“But as long as there are you, mother will be fine. Mother sure God must prepare the best path for all of us.” His words again kissed his two daughters. He breathed a long sigh while closing his eyes and trying to sleep.
