Widow of Two Children in Pinang Bujang

Widow of Two Children in Pinang Bujang
The Part 21

A beautiful smile that is rarely seen on Rahma's lips some time ago is now back up. The beautiful smile curved when his eyes accidentally saw the calendar hanging on the kitchen wall of his house.

Not strange, but the calendar seemed to remind again of his plans some time ahead. “I have to tell Hendra before he leaves.” Her speech.

After finishing with her dirty dishes, Rahma immediately stepped back towards the room. “It's done Ra?” Hendra asked directly as Rahma had just opened the door of the room.

“Iya. Why?”

“Mas want to shower Ra please.” Hendra shuffled to the side of the bed to get off.

“Awhile I prepared the warm water dulua.” Rahma replied as she passed to the bathroom.

Soon he returned and led Hendra into the bathroom. “If you've called me mas.” He said before closing the bathroom door and letting Hendra clean himself.

**

At eight o'clock in the morning, Rahma and Hendra as well as Kiara and Maura sit back in the backyard. Two cups of warm tea served on the table complement the wet cake neatly arranged on the plate. Both of their children enjoyed chocolate milk.

“Mas..” Rahma breaks the silence between them.

Hendra who was staring straight into the courtyard turned his head. “Iya..”

“The kids are soon testing out that they have a long holiday. And coincidentally the date also fits the schedule when I go home, I have a plan to go home. Nothing you there on weekends just don't need a vacation.” Take Rahma and explain her plan.

For a moment Hendra fell silent and weighed but finally the man nodded in agreement. “Boleh, later let me take a day or two off leave to not be too tired.” Her speech.

Rahma nodded and smiled. “Thank you.” He said he was happy. Hendra also replied with a smile no less wide while holding Rahma's hand on the table.

As time rolled by, the sun was shining ever more. Warm weather turns into hot skin. They decided to enter and continue chatting in the middle room.

Hendra felt the phone in his pants pocket vibrate long indicating a call coming in. “Halo, Assalamualaikum.” Hendra answered, saying his greetings.

“Waalaikumsalam... are you healthy?” Ask someone across the street, who turns out to be Ratna's mother.

“Alhamdulillah is better bu.”

There was a long conversation between the mother and the child. While Rahma who sat next to Hendra just shut up and listened. “Waalaikumsalam.”

After a few minutes Hendra finally ended the call. “Ra.”

“Hm.. yes.”.

“Mother and I want to come here.”

“Ya I've been to the back first want to tell bi Well let's cook a little.” Rahma said as she passed.

Drt…!!! The phone in Hendra's hand shook again. It turned out to be a message from Lia asking about the man. Hendra quickly replied to the message and returned to pocket his phone.

Unwittingly from behind, Rahma saw Hendra's movements. He seems to know who just sent the message. In his mind came a request that he would say when the two later.

“Already?” Hendra looked up at Rahma who stepped closer. Rahma just nodded.

At the residence of Ms. Ratna and Mr. Agus…!!

“Later there don't discuss things like bu.” Mr. Agus reminded his wife.

“I mean you discussed how?” Ratna's eyebrows swooped down to hear the husband's words.

“Yes don't talk about household matters and about their lives. Especially until keceplosan asked the news of the mother's other grandchildren.” Mr. Agus who understands the nature of his wife was only worried that the wife discussed sensitive matters about the household of his son, let alone the relationship of his wife and daughter-in-law has not gone well since the incident the other day.

“What is the mother of this little child, until the father should say like mother.” Cebik ma'am Ratna.

“Bapak just reminds.”

Did not feel the car that was boarded both had arrived at Hendra's residence. They rushed down after the car was parked. The main door was already open, Rahma standing on the doorstep to greet her in-laws.

“Assalamualaikum..” greetings both.

“Waalaikumsalam..” replied Rahma while crucifying her second hand.

“Suk sir. bu.. mas Hendra same kids in the middle room.”

Mr. Agus and Ms. Ratna stepped in following Rahma who closed the door first. While the driver-in-law chose to cover the side road to the kitchen and wait there.

“Pak.. bu... healthy?” Hendra got up from his seat and kissed the hands of his parents following Kiara and Maura.

“Alhamdulillah healthy. Are you feeling better?” Ask Mr. Agus while occupying his body.

“Alhamdulillah sir has improved.”

“Alhamdulillah.” nod Mr. Agus. Now his attention is distracted by Kiara and Maura.

“Kiara with Maura how is the school, son? Do you want to take the exam?” He asked while gently rubbing the hair of his two grandchildren.

“Iya grandpa.” Kiara replied briefly. Mr. Agus just smiled at his grandson's awkward attitude.

Kiara and Maura's relationship with their grandparents is not familiar. Probably because they rarely meet and communicate. So if you meet the hawa it's awkward. With Mr. Agus still mending, not as bad as Ms. Ratna.

One grandmother, has rarely met and chatted with her two grandchildren and when met like to directly advise without wanting to speak stale first. It makes Kiara and Maura uncomfortable, and tends to avoid it.

Before long Rahma came with bi Nah with a tray containing drinks and snacks. “Please sir.. bu.. in sample.” He said, sitting next to Hendra.

Not much chatter came out of Rahma's mouth, just talking stale and occasionally chiming in chatter between parents and the child. while Kiara and Maura had already resigned from the room earlier.

They talked for a long time, until lunch time came. “Pak.. Rahma excuse me to go to the kitchen for a while to check the cuisine, who knows bi Nah is done.” Her speech.

“Loh, aren't you the one cooking?” Ms. Ratna took her seat and looked up at Rahma.

“Not bu.”

“Mau Rahma or not the one who cooks, it makes no difference mom, it's the same. The important thing can be in eating.” Sela pak Agus before his wife opens her mouth again.”

Rahma smiled and passed. While Ms Ratna glanced unhappily at her husband. “Dimasakin wrong, not in masakin also wrong.” Dumel Rahma all the way.

Because Ms. Ratna is always less regular with the taste of her cooking and there are always those at the parent's protest. Therefore Rahma asked bi Nah who cooked. After all, from now on he will behave in the bodo period and will not be a submissive daughter-in-law like before.
