Widow of Two Children in Pinang Bujang

Widow of Two Children in Pinang Bujang
Part 05's

In the silence of the night all Rahma could do was to spill her sorrow and pain on the Creator. In prostration he asks for forgiveness for all the sins and mistakes he committed.

Never the slightest thought came to his mind, if he was going to undergo a painful destiny.

Never once did it cross her memory, if she had to feel the pain of a betrayal.

“Hiks...hiks..” Among the sunyi of the night, Rahma's cries sounded bitter and heart-wrenching.

“Yes Allah. Aamiin..”.

After cleaning the prayer equipment, Rahma laid her body on the bed and tried to close her eyes. There are still a few hours to go before dawn.

Should be in a state of fatigue because the trip home from out of town makes it easy to fall asleep. But in fact it's not. Yes, indeed he decided to go back to Jakarta as soon as he left the house.

A few minutes of trying, not the drowsiness that greets but the painful events that are actually reflected in the eye.

Surrender, Rahma finally chose to get out of bed and set her feet towards the balcony. Enjoy the night sky while calming the heart and mind by remembering the creator better.

The situation of Hendra and also Lia was not much different from Rahma. The late night does not necessarily make both close their eyes easily.

On top of the bed, Hendra and Lia were lying on their backs side by side with eyes staring at the ceiling of the room. There was no chatter, they were busy with their own thoughts.

Since Rahma's departure, Hendra has been quiet. He wouldn't have spoken if he hadn't been asked, and was inclined to avoid Lia.

Slowly Lia turned her head towards Hendra, nothing seemed to change from the position of the man from the beginning. Lie on your back with both hands cupped above your chest.

“Mas.” Lia tried to start the conversation.

“Hm.” Only a murmur was heard.

“Sleep, it's late.”

“Hm.”

There was no answer, Hendra closed his eyes. Seeing that Lia also closed her eyes.

Hendra re-opened his eyes after feeling Lia had fallen asleep. However he tried, he still could not sleep easily.

The surprise when he saw Rahma in front of the door this afternoon was still clear he felt. He had never imagined that there would be such a complicated situation.

Can't remember what time he fell asleep until I heard the sound of my voice at dawn waking Hendra. With red eyes from drowsiness he woke up from his sleep.

But because of the lack of sleep hours, make his head feel dizzy. With a shunt step and one hand holding his head he walked towards the bathroom.

The gurgling sound of water made Lia finally wake up. The woman slowly opened her eyes while occasionally yawning. After fully realizing he got out of bed and immediately prepared the clothes and needs of Hendra.

The bathroom door opened just as Lia finished preparing everything. Hendra walked out and immediately put on the clothes that Lia had prepared.

After the prayer, the two are now at the dinner table. At first Hendra refused breakfast, but with a little almighty he finally wanted to eat breakfast even if only a loaf of bread.

With just two bites a loaf of bread in hand Hendra turned into his stomach. After that he stood up and immediately stepped away without even drinking water at all.

“Let me take it.” Lia also moved from her seat and snatched the car keys that Hendra had just taken from the buffet.

Without arguing at all, Hendra let Lia pick it up and stepped out of the house.

A quiet atmosphere enveloped their journey to the airport. The day is still early even the sun has not yet shown itself to make the speed of the car driven by Lia smooth without obstacles and arrive early at the destination.

“I go.”

Lia nodded and kissed her husband's hand before the man went down. “Iya. Beware mas.” Her speech.

Seeing her husband waltzing into the airport, Lia let out a rough sigh. He was also worried and tried to think about how to get this problem solved in a good way.

“Hopefully Rahma could forgive us. And want to accept this all.” Hopefully.
