[DROP] Horimiya: Izuna Miyamura
2. Back to the house

A day passed after yesterday Izuna finally realized after a month of coma, he was currently recovering his body as usual.

Obviously, after the human body is not used for a long time, the body will be stiff and difficult to move. Izuna underwent a period of rehabilitation for about a week or two, until his body fully recovered.

Iori, Izuna's mother also contacted her husband to let him know if Izuna was awake, of course Naozumi, as a father was so happy when he heard the news that his son had grown up.

But alas, he was still not allowed to go home by his boss and was out on the island at the moment, so all he could do was pray for his son's recovery.

Iori was also not too concerned about her husband, given how busy her husband was at the moment.

Japanese people are known as workaholics, most of them will work from morning to late at night, and not infrequently, they still work overtime even on holidays.

Why so?

First, the environmental education.

For the Japanese working is like an honor. It's been planted since they were kids. Since toddler age parents will usually educate their children to be disciplined individuals, and hardworking is one of them.

And then add to the demands of the system. The work system does not give a person space to relax or laze around. The boss and the environment always demand results. Always demanding that the work be completed. Also demands that the target be reached.

Of course they will be rewarded. Companies in Japan give bonuses in small amounts. The bonus is given 2 times a year, which is summer and winter.

Companies whose performance is ordinary, or government agencies, can give bonuses 2 months salary, as much as 2 times. That is, for Japanese people receive a salary of 16-18 months per year it is common. With the bonus, people are motivated to work hard.

Then, there are also people working overtime so as not to be fired.

By looking at the good performance of its employees, the company leader will definitely think twice before firing them. Therefore, they usually work too hard and often take overtime so as not to be fired.

Many Japanese work excessively, in terms of time, physical exertion, and mind. As a result there is excessive fatigue due to the work that is too hard. Not a few that lead to death. In Japanese the case is called “karoshi”.

But fortunately, Naozumi is not a workaholic. Although he's a hard-working type of person, he doesn't torture himself in the job.

He'll take a day off when it's time to take a day off, and will work if it's time to work, that's the principle.

After all, his life was not just about work. He still had his wife and small family, where could he leave the family warmth just for overwork?

****************

"Open your mouth, Izuna."

Iori, who was holding a bowl of soup in her hand was feeding Izuna gently. Izuna also did not refuse and accepted the bribe from her mother wholeheartedly..

"Mother, where is Izumi? Has he gone to school?" Izuna asked, because she had not seen Izumi here at all, so she thought that her sister had gone to school.

"Yes, Mom told him to take care of your transfer papers at her school. You don't mind, do you?" Iori asked.

Their residence is in Minato, while Izuna school is in Shinjuku, the distance between Minato and Shinjuku is also enough, if using the train it takes about 25 minutes, if the bus ride takes about 35 minutes.

But, Izuna usually takes the bus because if using the train, he still needs to walk quite far from the station to his school, different if he takes the bus.

He would descend to a stop not too far from his school, so he could save his strength.

After all, even though he needed a fee to take care of his transfer letter, the distance between home and school became closer, he said, so he could save more money to save than he used to take the bus or train.

"Good, I've also told my acquaintances there, so you don't have to worry." Said Iori.

In the past, she had an acquaintance who now worked as a teacher at Izumi's school, and she had also asked him for help to take care of Izuna's amendment, which was received without hesitation by her.

That way, he would not have to worry about Izuna's school anymore, and could focus on taking care of Izuna until she recovered.

_______

Two weeks just passed.

Today, is the day Izuna is allowed to go home, of course Iori takes care of everything and does not miss the slightest thing.

He also paid for hospital bills to make up for some of the drugs Izuna had to take to help her recover faster.

Actually Izuna does not really like to take drugs. According to him, taking drugs in large quantities can trigger the risk of drug interactions. If this happens, it can result in the appearance of a number of symptoms such as the body feels weak, decreased brain ability, indigestion, heart palpitations, until skin problems arise.

Therefore, he would rather take herbs or get enough rest than take too much medicine. Maybe one or two is fine, but if it's more, he's not too sure.

"Are you ready to go, Izuna?" Iori asked. In her hands, she carried two suitcases containing her belongings and Izuna such as; a change of clothes, and toiletries such as; soap, shampoo and toothpaste.

All of that Iori brought from home even though in this hospital has adequate facilities, and it also includes toiletries that are in the bathroom. But, it does not guarantee that if it is all hygienic, it could have been contaminated by bacteria or viruses because it is widely used by the general public.

That was why, he brought all his things from home, and there were even some new items that he had not bought for a long time.

"Yes, but aren't you troubled? Shouldn't we wait for Izumi first?" Izuna asked worriedly.

It is currently 9am, and it is Tuesday, which means Izumi is at her current school. Which means, he can't help his sister's return now.

It could have been Izumi's permission not to enter this morning, but Iori forbade him, saying if she needed school.

Well, Izumi's grades are pretty bad at school, which is why, although Iori does not mind piercings or tattoos on her body, Iori is very strict when it comes to her second education.

"No need to worry, I can take all this." Iori said confidently. If you have to wait for Izumi to come home from school, it means they have to wait until the afternoon, because Izumi will only come home when 5 pm later, and it will be too long according to him.

So, that was why he decided not to wait for Izumi. After all, he had also booked a taxi that was currently waiting outside the hospital.

It may be quite rare for people in this country to use taxis, but even so, taxis still exist in Japan, although there are not many.

"Well if you insist. But! At the very least, let me bring some too." Izuna.

Seeing how many items Iori had brought, she felt unbearable. In addition to the two sizable suitcases, he also carried two small bags containing the lunch boxes they had previously brought.

"Alright, but don't carry heavy things, just let Mom carry them. You brought some of these light things." Said Iori.

"okay."
