"So, this Hakari-san is Yuuki Asuna, and Yuuki-san, this is Hanazono Hakari. I hope you can get along with each other." Izuna previously called Hakari to come closer, and she introduced him to Asuna, hoping that they might be a match for each other.

Some say if people who feel the same way will be more easily familiar with each other. And neither Hakari nor Asuna are much different.

If Asuna is betrothed by a man she does not like and her life is arranged by her mother, Hakari is also not much different from Asuna.

Since childhood, Hakari has always been alone and she also does not have many friends. Then, his mother also has a cold nature because of her past. And about his father? All he knew was that his father had died long before he was born.

Maybe that's why his mother was cold and firm. But he also did not know for sure, because he never asked his mother and he did not dare to ask her.

"Greetings." The two shook each other's hands, and when their gazes met, the two thought the same thing.

'He's a tough rival.'

Izuna was unaware, but Hakari and Asuna had electric sparks between their gazes, and although they were smiling at each other, their smiles had different meanings.

"good. Then, what if we go to the cafeteria now? You're also coming, right, Hakari-san?" Unaware of the confrontation between the two, Izuna behaved as she normally does and invited them to go to the cafeteria together.

Izuna did not fully understand women's hearts as well as their thoughts. There are times when women say "A", but they want "B", and sometimes when they say "A", they want "A" or even "C".

That's what Izuna meant. Women's hearts are unpredictable, and they do what they want. Therefore, Izuna did not want to waste her time to understand women's hearts. Just understanding what they like and want is enough.

"Wait!"

As Izuna was about to walk towards the canteen, Asuna suddenly stopped her steps by pulling the end of her shirt.

"Hmm?" Izuna turned around, looking at Asuna in confusion.

While lowering her head, Asuna said in a low voice, "Call me Asuna..."

"I'm sorry?"

"I said, call me Asuna from now on! You called Hanazono-san by her first name, but you still called me by my family name. That's not fair!" Asuna looked up, scribbled Izuna straight and seemed to demand what she said Izuna to do.

"Ah, so..." Izuna now understood what the problem was. It seemed as if Asuna was envious and jealous of Hakari because Izuna called Hakari by her name, while she still called Asuna by her surname.

"Alright, then I will call you Asuna from now on. How, are you satisfied?" izuna said with a smile towards him. Honestly speaking, this was her first time seeing Asuna who was demanding, and Asuna who was like this was not bad either.

"Hmm, good if you understand."

Asuna turned her face away, a hint of red hue adorning her cheeks, and she cried out in her mind as Izuna so casually spoke her name without any shame.

In Japan, people generally call others by their surname if they are new to/unfamiliar. While people who are familiar will call by using their first name.

And of course, that's pretty embarrassing for some people. Calling by first name can be said if they are familiar with each other, and their relationship is close enough to be called more than just friends.

Therefore, Asuna was quite annoyed to see Izuna who casually called out to her by her first name without any embarrassment and hesitation.

'What.because he's used to it?'

Perhaps if Izuna had gotten used to doing that, it would have been natural for Asuna. But all he knew, he never called someone by his first name, except Ryo.

In contrast to Asuna's thoughts, Izuna herself was not too concerned about calling each other's names. And he called someone by his surname just for formality.

If he could, he would like to call out the first names of all of them, but since this was a custom in this country, he respected them by following their customs.

After all, he was already a part of this Country and the World, so it was natural for him to follow the rules, laws, as well as all the things that became customary in this Country.

"Alright, don't think too much, let's go."

Looking at Asuna who was dissolved in her mind, Izuna immediately pulled her hand and her other hand pulled Hakari's hand, and made them walk next to her.

With two girls walking on each side of her body, Izuna gained a lot of attention as they walked down the school corridor.

Although this was not the first time Izuna had gotten this gaze, but their current gaze became even more sinister inexplicably. And their gazes seemed to be filled with hatred, envy, and more.

'Basic of puberty....'

Izuna just shook her head in her mind when she realized what they were all thinking.

And finally, Izuna ignored the gazes directed at her, and walked towards the cafeteria with Asuna and Hakari by her side.

_______

"So how do you know each other?" Asuna asked curiously. Seeing Izuna and Hakari who seemed close enough to be able to call each other first names, really made him jealous inexplicably.

He wondered how the two knew each other. If they had known each other for a long time, it would have been natural for them to use their first names to call each other. But if it doesn't?

But, even though Izuna and Hakari called each other first names, they still used the suffix '-san' behind their names.

Like Hakari who called Izuna with 'Izuna-kun' like Sayu's call, and Izuna who called Hakari with 'Hakari-san'.

"Hmm, actually we just met yesterday, and our meeting was completely unintentional. Then we got to know each other and the rest as you can see now" Izuna said as she stuffed the onigiri into her mouth, and chewed it slowly before swallowing it.

"Um, um, that's right." Hakari nodded with Izuna's statement, he also ordered the same meal as Izuna, a single serving of Onigiri to one person, where one portion contained 4 Onigiri that they could enjoy.

"Is that so?" Asuna asked doubtfully, frowning, she looked at Izuna, like she was looking at whether she was lying or not.

But, she found nothing, which meant that what Izuna said was all true, which made her sigh tired.

"I don't know what you're hiding from me, but for sure, I know you're hiding something big!" asuna said with a frown, as she turned her face aside while crossing her arms under her chest.

"Fufu, are you jealous, Yuuki-san?" Hakari asked while grinning at Asuna, trying to tease her.

"Huh?! Who is jealous?! I'm not jealous at all!" Asuna strongly denied, as her face styled Hakari in annoyance. But, her cheeks flushed slightly as she said it all.

"Huh? Really true?"

"All right, you guys, stop it there." Seeing the two who seemed to be arguing further, Izuna immediately stopped the two, and said to Asuna, "What I said is all true, Asuna. I just missed a few details there. But what I can be sure of is, I'm not lying."

Izuna had done a lot to be able to make Asuna more open to him, and if she made him misunderstand here, and ended up with Asuna getting angry and upset, she said, then all his efforts during this time will be in vain.

Although they do not have a special relationship, Izuna has considered Asuna more than just her classmates. If said, Asuna status for Izuna above friends and under friends.

"Hmmm!" Asuna simply snorted and ignored him. But he heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Izuna did not seem to be lying, and returned to sitting quietly.

By the way, they sat a small table with 4 seats, where Hakari and Asuna were sitting opposite to Izuna who was sitting between them.
