A Pair of Eclipse Swords

A Pair of Eclipse Swords
Chapter : 244 – Sweet Memories

That morning, Sung Han was preoccupied with various kinds of home activities. Cooking breakfast, taking water, cleaning the cottage and so on. He even had to sew their blankets which he had never done before. And only then did it realize that their blanket had a tear.

Although early in the morning was preoccupied with various activities, but seeing the young man's face and eyes, it seems Sung Han did not mind at all. It was too late to be happy because not infrequently when he was walking, his body shook while jumping.

"Stop acting like a kid."

Sung Han, who was grilling two fat jungle chickens, turned his head as soon as the voice sounded. He looked for a moment at the woman standing in the doorway. The next second a big smile was created.

"Ah, good morning" she said.

Sung Hwa fixed his position by leaning against the wall. Even he had to use his sword as a body support. "Morning," replied Sung Hwa briefly with pursed lips. A few moments later he heard her grumbling. "I really hate to imagine tonight. May the day be longer."

Hurry Sung Han approached the figure of Sung Hwa who has now legally become his wife. Realizing that even to stand up he was exhausted, Sung Han felt pity as well. But when Sung Han was about to lead Sung Hwa, the former mistress brushed his hand away.

"Don't look for a chance! You don't think I can walk alone?!" he snapped with a dead red face.

Sung Han showed a slight guilty expression. "Oh, come on, we're husband and wife. Ordinary thing, right?"

Yet this remark was only greeted with a sharp gaze like a starving dragon. Sung Hwa threw away his face and limped towards the torch fire with two roasted chickens on it.

He grimaced a bit as he sat himself on the grass. Sung Han who saw this shook his head and went into the cottage to pick up something. On arrival outside, he throws Sung Hwa's body up and puts a thick blanket down. Then just when Sung Hwa came down, he had been sitting sweetly on the blanket.

"Hehe, good work last night. Later when the sun is about to hide, please get ready, okay?"

"Ck! Sung Han, if you don't remember you're my husband, don't think I'm still here!" the hardic.

Sung Han's eyes were wide. "Hey, I'm your husband, can't you call me a different name?"

This once, inevitably Sung Hwa glared. "Let me call you by your direct name or your terrible nickname. No need for a call of love or anything. I'd rather be rude but respect you as a husband than sweet-ass-licking ass!"

"Oh, didn't I hear wrong. Is this a confession of love from the Red Eagles?" Sung Han smiled seductively.

Sung Hwa seemed to be aware of his words. And for the next moment he had to maintain his fierce demeanor to cover up the shame.

They then eat while talking. Sung Han tried to find a topic of conversation that reminded them of the past. But moments after the conversation flowed, the two realized there was no good past for them.

Died by parents since childhood, left behind by one-party brothers, slandered, hated and hunted by the whole country. Kesumat grudge. Love fails and so on.

This makes the new couple moody and very sad. Just seen by them, how now they live a very heavy life. Full of suffering, pain and misery. There is nothing that can be used as a memory except nightmares.

But in the middle of his daydream, Sung Han felt a delicate hand touching and even grasping his fingers. He turned his head, and got Sung Hwa, who a while ago had a mouthful with him, smiling gently with a sad look.

"Your face is very moody, I think this can help," whispered Sung Hwa tightening her grip. "Our past is bitter. But did you forget? We live in the present, not in the past. And does it feel bitter now?" Sung Hwa chuckled, covering his mouth with one hand. "I thought last night was pretty sweet. Those are good memories, you know?"

Sung Han felt overwhelmed. He gripped Sung Hwa's fingers which showed a deep feeling vibration. Sung Han could feel it, he felt it clearly. Despite all the harsh and haughty words that the woman said to her, but the truth behind it all lies the extraordinary love of a woman.

Sung Han was able to feel it and he knew it. The grip of the hand need not be explained in words. The vibration of that feeling, it would not be possible if it was just a charade.

"Sung Hwa .. I'm grateful you're vengeful for me. That way we can meet," said Sung Han who was unable to hold back his smile.

"That's a compliment?" Sung Hwa chuckled.

"Sung Hwa ...."

"Hm ...?" Sung Hwa replied gently. What a fierce and arrogant attitude of the Red Eagles is no longer visible. Sung Hwa is nothing more than a wife who loves her husband.

"Can add?"

"Gat!!"

...****************...

They decided to stay at the cottage last night before continuing their journey north. While on the way, Sung Han took the initiative not to leave if Sung Hwa did not he carry.

He knew his wife was exhausted from serving him. This was evident when after a few minutes of walking, Sung Hwa slept soundly in Sung Han's arms.

A few days had passed and they came to a very high waterfall. Sung Han decided to rest here before continuing on his way.

Sung Han was looking for fish in the river. Sung Hwa wants to help but Sung Han balked.

"My husband, you hear me?" sung Hwa half whispered. "Two .. no, three people."

Sung Han instead of paying attention to the last words, he was more interested in the opening remarks. "Eh, 'my husband'? Since when have you called me so affectionately? Heheh .. Come on again, I want to hear it more clearly."

Sung Hwa's reflex hit Sung Han's arm. His eyes glared with pursed lips. "I thought that while you were married to me you were never serious. Listen carefully!"

But no need to be reminded. This is Sung Han, the Faceless Demon. Of course since then even before Sung Hwa realized he was conscious.

A moment later, there was a shadow of three people flashing who knew it had stood there. Sung Han took an indifferent attitude by continuing his activities of stacking firewood to make a bonfire to burn fish.

But when his eyes glanced, inevitably he had to pay attention.

"Ah, you're the herd." Sung Han put the last wood on the pile. She smiles. "How are you?"

Gu Ren, Khuang Peng, and Nie Chi showed radiant faces. Soon they are enthralling. "Good news!" answer them in unison.

"Sit down, let's have breakfast together," Sung Han greeted as he patted the grass beside him. Then he laughed. "Of course the fish find themselves. This three is for me and him."

The three exchanged lyrics for a few moments with doubtful gazes. Sung Han realized this and said again. "Eat first, we can talk about other business later. The cuisine was delicious," Sung Han pointed at Sung Hwa who could only smile.

"Fellows just met, let's not talk about tense affairs," said the young mistress.

Back they exchanged lyrics. Then Gu Ren replied. "All right."

The three of them then looked for fish in the river and briefly each had caught one. They burned the fish interspersed with jovial laughter. One would never dream that this group of people were top-level warriors in the entire empire. It might even be that the person who was able to defeat them was only able to count fingers.

On the sidelines of the meal together, Gu Ren chapped. "Your face I see getting cleaner and brighter. What good things are there while you're gone?"

Sung Han and Sung Hwa hit back at each other's lyrics. Their faces are slightly reddened. Sung Han couldn't prevent it when Sung Hwa lowered his head and pretended to cough.

"Yeah ..many things have happened" Sung Han said briefly.

"I'm so happy. Your face is always gloomy, hahaha!"

Sung Han and Sung Hwa only responded to that with awkward laughter.

After a while, the meal was over and the five people looked at each other seriously. Sung Han and Sung Hwa were waiting for what the three people were going to talk about. While the three people wait for each other who should talk first.

Finally, Gu Ren chose to start the conversation. "Sung Han, Sung Hwa, we and the whole country are in need of your help."

Sung Han's eyes sharpened. "Say it more clearly."
