A Pair of Eclipse Swords

A Pair of Eclipse Swords
Chapter :40 – Blood

That very night, Sung Han decided to conduct an investigation. When the moon was already rising high, he rushed over the roofs of the buildings to get to where Kay Ji Kun was.

There were a lot of people guarding around the building, and all of them were purple belts. Sung Han had to be careful that their sharp hearing was unaware of his presence.

Using the science of lightening his body and a bit of tiptoe, Sung Han sighed over Kay Ji Kun's house. After making sure the surroundings were completely safe, he opened one of the tiles and snuck in.

When he got inside, he was greeted by various kinds of cooking furniture and dishes. It is clear that this is the kitchen.

Sung Han took the time to grab the chicken thigh from the plate. He spent and left his bones to be then used just in case.

Out of the kitchen, he turned right into a long hallway. In the corner of the hallway there, he saw a waiter and a chef conversing. His heart was attracted, so he quickly slipped in the dark and hid himself in a large urn.

"Thank God then." the chef answered the servant's words.

"Ah..but even so, the situation is not arguably better than before." the maidservant continued. His face looked sad.

"What drug is a drug?" the chef seemed interested, "It could be the food I made that made the medicine not work. So if you know what, tell me that the dishes we made can adjust."

The servant lady sighed heavily. He looked at the empty glass in his hand. "I don't know."

"Just.." he continued later, "The smell of this medicine smells so good."

"Scented?" the chef looked confused. He brought his nose to the glass in the servant's hand and sniffed it like a cat. Then he turned his head back quickly when he said.

"Uhh..it is too fragrant and sweet." he commented.

The servant lady was not surprised by that reaction, she still continued to look at the empty glass in her hand.

"I feel sorry for the chairman's wife, she often doesn't sleep at all at night. Too worried about her husband."

"What the hell is Ki Yuan hiding? The creepy old face that always hides in making medicine!" the chef looks unhappy. Quickly the servant said half a whisper.

"Huss...talk what are you? If he heard how?"

"Let's! We're the hosts, he's just a strange wanderer. She should have been frankly telling everyone the cure!" the chef denied.

"Have it, at least the young master knew about it. You better come back, I'm gonna wash this dirty glass."

The chef nodded and went towards the kitchen earlier. As soon as he reached the kitchen, he cursed because he lost one of his chickens which had amounted to three pieces in the plate.

Seeing that it was safe, Sung Han walked out of his hiding place. As soon as he arrived at the end of the hall where the conversation had taken place, Sung Han headed straight to the right, in the opposite direction from the waiter he had left. Because he assumed the servant had just come from Kay Ji Kun's room.

Not long after, he arrived in a spacious room that made him complain annoyed. This spacious room is either used for what, but it seems quite important to see the tapestry mattress as the base. There was nothing but that, besides the door at the end of the room.

"Who is it!"

Suddenly a female voice came from behind the door. Lucky for Sung Han, he had not been too into the middle of the room so it was still sheltered dark.

Remember the strange grandfather who walked upside down in the upside down house. So he immediately jumped to the ceiling while exerting energy in the legs. As soon as it arrived above, it attached a kind of bat.

When the woman turned around and was about to enter the room earlier, Sung Han acted quickly to knock unconscious using the chicken bones earlier. He leaned on the body to quickly enter the room and placed it on the floor.

"Sorry madam, I can't be rude to touch someone's wife." he muttered as he joked.

The room here was dark, too dark for Sung Han to conduct an investigation. But at the end of the room, there was a candlelight that illuminated a small part of the room. There is also a filter that is also illuminated by candlelight. One figure lay limp there.

"Is that Kay Ji Kun?" Sung Han walked over. He was shocked to see Kay Ji Kun's face being so apprehensive. Although in a state of sleep, but looks still very tortured.

Sung Han looked concerned. He turned to the table to find a wooden glass filled with half a red liquid. This was the same medicine as the waiter had brought.

"How does it smell?" he was curious and brought the nose closer. He almost screamed if he did not quickly strangle his own neck. His head instantly became dizzy and his eyes were twitching.

"What'sthis? Too fragrant and..so sweet!!" he was horrified. Sung Han tried once again, but he protected his nose and head with a deep vigor, so the "blow" effect of the drug was much reduced.

Until a few minutes Sung Han sniffed the dark red medicine. Over time, his face grew pale and his eyes widened.

"This...blood...?"

The longer he smelled, the more clearly there was a fishy smell that was blood fishy.

"Breaks."

Sung Han was startled and ready with his hands flowing in. He almost thumped a man's head if he didn't realize who pulled his robe.

"Hope.." - Kay Ji Kun groaned over Sung Han's weak robe. He must have thought that Sung Han was his wife at the moment.

Sung Han searched for water, but found no other water than that blood. He became confused, so the last option was to leave it to his wife.

He snatched his hand, moving quickly towards Kay Ji Kun's wife who became conscious again. But with a flash, Sung Han had exited the room through the door and headed for the kitchen earlier to then run through the tile. Don't forget he put the fried chicken bones to the plate again. Fortunately, the chef was no longer there.

The first thing he was about to do after conducting a direct investigation into Kay Ji Kun's room was, find out about the poison. A very strange and vicious poison.

Then, at a glance he saw the eyes of Kay Ji Kun who was no longer of normal color. So you know that trying to save that person was just in vain.

His teacher used to say, that if someone is exposed to poison, he still has a chance to be helped. But it is far too late if the poison succeeds in changing the color of the eyes. The same thing happened to Kay Ji Kun.

"Actually who is capable of making him like that? Is the Heart of Satan again? Or is there another swordsman?"

Sung Han's questions piled up every time he thought about it. So that night, he made up his mind, tomorrow morning he had to go to the library guarded by the angel.

"Damn, I hope I don't let my guard down tomorrow."
