A Pair of Eclipse Swords

A Pair of Eclipse Swords
Chapter :61 – Crossroad

How long time passed he could not remember anymore, all he knew was the crowd of golden-fingered snakes and gnawing at him mercilessly. Until he fainted almost dead.

Kay Su Tek sat down with difficulty, his clothes had been torn all so that he was currently bare-chested. Fortunately the snakes did not attack the pants even though the pants were also torn here and there.

Remembering something, he ignored his sense of wonder and looked back. The road where he came in was still there. Then quickly turn your head to the right. And Kay Su Tek screamed in horror when from the hole the eyes of the snakes were thrusting sharply. Fortunately, he did not go there in an attempt to save himself.

Perhaps once the smoke was an illusion that seemed to make its inner energy disappear, then appear again. Make the exit and entry disappear. Making the snake bites seemed to heal as time went on. Thus thought.

His body had blackened everything, except from the neck up. Black color is quite strange because it is slightly mixed with green and purple.

"This is.the same poison that belonged to father.." he muttered with a withered look. His body and mind were tired.

Without a care anymore, Kay Su Tek stood up and walked down the cave deeper. His life could not be much longer, this poison was powerful, he could tolerate it. That was why he thought rather than go back and die halfway, it was better to continue to answer his curiosity.

He walked slowly, however, the poison made his whole body stiff. Presumably, who can still move agilely only his eyeballs.

Kay Su Tek limped in with both hands holding onto the wall of the cave. Afraid of being released, she would fall and have trouble standing up again.

Not long after, Kay Su Tek stopped to read a sentence of writing.

"You're a wretch, you're a profit. You're lucky, you survived. You survived, you deserve. Congratulations."

"A congratulatory greeting?" he said and smiled blandly, "Give up, whatever it is good, bad, safe and proper, I don't care anymore. It will soon be finished." he said later and continued walking down the long hallway.

He took the time to sit for a while after ten steps of walking. His chest suddenly felt pain instead of playing and his breathing was tight.

Then he tries to drain his inner energy to improve the condition of the body even though he knows it will be in vain.

"Nurkhn"

Black-coloured condensed blood spurted out just as his profound energy spread out. The pain was felt and forced Kay Su Tek to stop the distribution of his internal energy.

"If this were dozens of times worse than father's...."

After that, he was completely lost. No matter the state of the self anymore, Kay Su Tek got up and continued walking. A moment later he read another article but this young man did not stop his steps.

"The poison will kill you."

"I know shit!" he also pushed it.

Half an hour later, again he was faced with a forked road. This time it was a crossroad.

He turned his head to look at the rightmost wooden slab.

"Towards there, storehouses of treasure and books."

Then he read the wooden slab on the left.

"There, heaps of medicine and herbs."

His heart is quite interested. But he still took the time to read the one in the middle.

"Street straight, you'll be doomed. Just get here and get your reward. Lucky right?" one of the longest sentences among the others.

Kay Su Tek turned his head to the right and left in turn. Then he chuckled strangely, "If only I hadn't been hurt like this, I certainly wouldn't have cared about the way to the left." he muttered slowly and pointed his body towards the path that led to the pile of medicine, "I choose the left. Once there is hope of survival, why not?"

Regardless of the middle and right path, this young man walked towards the left there. His body was getting stiff and sick, he needed a poison antidote.

After a minute of walking, he found a piece of writing on the floor.

"Related?"

"It's your choice. Again, you sure?"

Still missing that writing. Until he clucked in annoyance when he found another larger inscription, with deeper carvings, and housed on the floor.

"Last warning. A little hint, remember the past. A while ago, maybe?"

"You're mocking the fuckers!!" his curse was upset and continued forward after trampling on the writing.

The pain in his body seemed to slow down. He forced his feet to go faster. And his eyes sparkled when at the end there was a beautiful wooden door that was tightly closed.

But his eyes widened when he saw the big writing right above the door.

"You're dead."

His chest suddenly ached, his eyes were twitching and the white color in his eyes turned blackish green. His heart every time it beats like it is not draining blood, but rather draining pain. He whimpers.

"Ough....."

Kay Su Tek fell down. Moments later, his body had a slight seizure, but consciousness was still controlling him.

"Damn it..fuck it.when it's soon.." he said and tried to crawl around trying to get close to the door. When his hands start to limp, he uses the help of his chin to continue crawling.

His mouth was exclaiming and his face was deathly pale as his eyes involuntarily read a small inscription right below him.

"You've been looking for profit, it's not worth it."

Recalling something, Kay Su Tek hurriedly drained a deep energy to envelop his heart. Soon he vomited blood, but he ignored it.

He got up and walked back to where he came. His eyes bulged wide with a face of panic in a hurry.

Several times he fell down, and every waking up back up his steps must have slowed down.

At one point, his eyes began to darken and his body was limp as if floating. With a strong determination he smashed his head against the wall to retract control of the body. Even though his head became painful and bloody.

Kay Su Tek continues to step up and cuss his own stupidity. How could he not ignore the matter of wretchedness, congratulations, profit and merit?

Even after being warned many times, he remained indifferent and preferred to profit by searching for medicines in the left room. Though it has been explained before, the lucky ones will be wretched!!

His heart was quite relieved when he found himself at the crossroads of the road. Quickly he turned left to take the middle ground.

Down this hallway, he swore back. Why is it that those who want to die and try to live are troubled?

Surely the owner of this place knows that anyone who reaches the crossroads, of course, in a state of dying exposed to poisonous snakes. Either this road is used to help or harm, but Kay Su Tek does not agree with this long hallway.

"Ahh.shhhhh!" his condition was already bad, in his mouth was pooling black blood that continued to multiply. He knew this poison would get worse if the sufferer drained his energy in. But if he doesn't protect his heart with deep energy, more poison will come in and he will die quickly.

He got up, continued walking. Fall again, rise again. When he found a hole in his mouth, he cried out.

"That's for sure, no more wrong!!"

On top of the hole, he found a note, "Ware if you were previously lucky. And fortunately if previously wretched. Deserve the fortunate here, and die for the former."

"Ohhhhh!!" Kay Su Tek shouted trying to encourage himself, without hesitation he jumped into the hole.

As soon as his body slid downhill, Kay Su Tek gave up and his gaze darkened. Consciousness vanished....
