Chapters 27. Special Task

Two minutes later Izzah was standing at the director's desk. Shin Seo Hyun had yet to realize that the person knocking on the door of her room had been right in front of her. Seeing that the director had not changed position, Izzah decided to turn around.

Hearing the footsteps away, Shin Seo Hyun gasped, throwing down the newspaper that covered his face. He also confirmed his sitting position.

“Hei!”call him.

Izzah stopped and turned his body to face the director.

“Hah!”

Both amazed. Facing with difficult to understand expressions.

“Ah! So, you are an intern doctor from Indonesia?” shin Seo Hyun asked breaking into silence and a bit of hesitation.

Realizing, Izzah bowed, saluting.

“Yes. Sir!”

“What's your name?”

“Izzah, Mr.”

Shin Seo Hyun. Busy yourself by flipping through documents on the table to cover the nervousness that suddenly came attacking.

“You brought the required files of staffing section?” tanyakanya.

After arranging his heart, he ventured to look at Izzah. He noticed the girl standing in front of him in detail from head to toe.

Simple, but elegant. Shin Seo Hyun gave a judgment.

Izzah felt iris stared at like that. He knew the director was assessing his performance.

“I have submitted to the personnel section, Sir,” replied Izzah disconnecting Shin Seo Hyun's gaze.

“Oh! Alright. You can come out now.”  Shin Seo Hyun again busied herself with the documents.

Izzah felt plong. Without waiting for long, he immediately turned back.

“Wait!”

Shin Seo Hyun's call braked Izzah's steps.

The deg! The deg! The deg!

“What else?” ask Izzah at heart. Heart's pounding.

Shin Seo Hyun took out a mobile phone from her briefcase, and then showed it to Izzah.

“This is yours?”

Behind his calm demeanor, Izzah's eyes refracted in shock.

“The shape is indeed similar to my phone. May I see, Mister?” Izzah approaching.

Shin Seo Hyun admired Izzah's attitude.

“This girl is pretty wise. He did not immediately admit that this is his phone,” praise Shin Seo Hyun in heart.

The phone he was holding onto Izzah. Izzah greeted with two hands, then checked the phone.

Spontaneous Izzah fell down in gratitude. I never thought I would find his phone again.

Shin Seo Hyun jumped in shock to see Izzah fall down. In a hurry he approached Izzah. I thought the girl had fainted so happy.

Frightened, Shin Seo Hyun leaned over and reached out wanting to pat Izzah on the shoulder, to ascertain whether the girl had actually fainted or not.

Suddenly he retracted his hand and stepped back when Izzah suddenly rose from his bow.

“Alhamdulillah .. Thank you, O Allah. You Are Most Gracious.”

Izzah clutched his phone with both hands. Eyes twinkling. Smile them.

Shin Seo Hyun fixed the tie as soon as it sank the butt on the seat of his greatness.

“Ehem”

Shin Seo Hyun's dehaman regained Izzah's awareness of his whereabouts. Izzah stood up immediately.

“M-sorry, Sir!” Izzah nervous.

“Thank you for returning my phone,” he said sincerely.

Shin Seo Hyun did not answer. Just shaking hands, Izzah's signal can go. Izzah bowed, then left the director's room.

“Huh!”

Shin Seo Hyun let out a strong breath.

“The girl almost made my heart fall,” her grunts while loosening a tie that felt suffocating her neck.

“Finding a lost phone just as soon as the reaction. What if I get a bigger prize? Could-could die standing her.”

Shin Seo Hyun continued to babble herself. Recalling Izzah's expression as he regained his phone, Shin Seo Hyun smiled to herself. In her eyes Izzah looked amazingly beautiful.

BEEPING! BEEPING!

Shin Seo Hyun received a phone call. Once he finished, he contacted Park Joon Soo.

“Ya, Sir?” Park Joon Soo asked from across the phone

“Prepare VVIP space now!” his orders

“Ya, Sir!”

Park Joon Soo acted fast. He knew that if Shin Seo Hyun had given such an order, it meant that one of the director's family would be admitted to the hospital.

Not long after, Park Joon Soo comes face to face.

“VIP space is ready, Mister!” park Joon Soo's report

“After the examination, immediately move the patient to that room!” shin Seo Hyun said giving further instructions.

“Ya, Sir!”

Park Joon Soo canceled his intention to leave when Shin Seo Hyun re-opened his voice.

“Call for a new intern doctor to care for the patient, replace the previous nurse.”

“But, Mr. .. is he a doctor, not a nurse?” park Joon Soo's protest was astonished by the director's decision.

“Do it! This is the request of the patient's family,” replied Shin Seo Hyun, not wanting to be denied.

“Good, Master!”

Park Joon Soo gets out of that room immediately. Groped me, feeling strange at the director's request.

In the Emergency Installation room, the nurses looked at each other and prickled. They glanced at Izzah while whispering.

At a desk, Izzah was busy with patient files. Not knowing himself to be a trending topic in that space.

“Doctor Izzah!”

Sound of voice calling.

“Ya?”

Izzah. It turned out to be the voice of Doctor Lee Kwan Gi, his mentor.

“From now on, you are in charge of being a patient's personal nurse in the VVIP room as long as she is treated here.”

“Ya?”

Izzah was shocked, not believing he would get such a task.

“Isn't it the duty of nurses, not doctors?” thought Izzah.

“Or this hospital does have special rules?” his inner. Still dumb.

Seeing Izzah bewildered, the doctor smiled.

“This is a special request from the patient's guardian. Here, VVIP patients are indeed entitled to choose a nurse.’’

“Oh .. good, Doc!”

Izzah. Next walk next to the doctor who will take him. In my heart, Izzah wondered what a VVIP patient would be like to receive such a special service.

“Show your best performance and don't make mistakes!” doctor Lee Kwan Gi's advice before turning the door handles of the VVIP chamber.

“Yes, Doc!”

In that luxurious room, lay a female patient in her seventies, unconscious. His body is weak and looks weak.

“The time is not here, Doc?” Izzah asked when he found no one to accompany the patient.

“His granddaughter will come occasionally, which is why she wants a special nurse.”

Izzah nodded. In his heart he said, “Enak yes so rich man, any stay command.”

“I believe you, Doctor Izzah,” Doctor Lee Kwan Gi said as he gently patted Izzah's shoulder.

“I'll try hard,” promise Izzah.

Doctor Lee Kwan Gi left Izzah after providing important information about the patient in relation to Izzah's duties.

Alone, Izzah approached the patient. He pulled out a chair and sat down on the edge of the bed. He looked at the old woman's condition. His heart felt pity.

“At that age and in such a weak condition, shouldn't his grandchildren be present beside him? Showing their final devotion if God doesn't give them a chance to recover? Where are they all?”

Question after question raged in Izzah's mind. Unknowingly she shed tears. Remembering the growing old mother. Will his mother be like this old woman before him? Alone in empty luxury.

“No. I won't leave you alone. I will always accompany him in old age,” Izzah promises to himself.
